The doctor said with a wide smile.
Shen yuans eyebrow twitched. “Ah?! What do you mean ‘pregnant’?!”
“ Im a man! I can’t get pregnant! I- I haven’t even done- that! In- in years! It’s impossible!”
The doctor opened his eyes and eyed Shen yuans obviously swollen belly.
“ Ah- but master Shen.. it’s the truth.. we ran 5 tests, and they all point to pregnancy..”
“ But-“
“ We know it’s unexpected- but it’s not uncommon for a man to conceive. Especially if said man is such a highly powerful cultivator such as yourself.”
“ Like I said! I’m not pregnant! I just have indigestion! I’ve been eating a lot because I’m going to see my gege for the first time in 4 years!”
The doctor and the nurses giggled quietly,
“ Oh! But of course master Shen! We will give you some medication for your ‘indigestion’!”
As soon as Shen yuan got his medicine he headed straight for the door.
How dare they not take him seriously! He was a man! He couldn’t possibly be pregnant!
“ Oh! Master Shen! Please don’t do anything too laborious, it will make you go into labor early!”

Shen yuan was around 15 when he embarked on his journey to explore the world, only some of the most skilled young cultivators were able to leave the sect for a long amount of time, like Shen yuan!
“A-yuan, make sure you don’t trust anyone, don’t leave your money pouch anywhere, oh! And make sure to wash up everyday. Oh- and-“
“ Gege.. I’m not a little kid anymore! I can go out and explore without a problem! Trust me.”
Shen yuan was getting embarrassed from all his gege’s nagging..
“ A-yuan be serious! I won’t be able to be there to protect you like I always do! Shizun has let you go, so don’t get into any trouble and make us lose face!”
Shen jiu really didn’t want his baby brother going alone into the world. One look at Shen yuan, and all those nasty men would flock him!
Shen jiu has just turned 25 and Shen yuan 15, Shen jiu has just became the head disciple and has no free time to go with him on a mandatory 4 year long hunt.
When his Shizun first told them about this news, that Shen yuan- His baby brother, would be going, Shen jiu felt sick. Shen yuan was naive and far too trusting. Not only that but he gets distracted easily, especially if he sees any kind of weird beast! No matter how many times Shen jiu tried to persuade him, to not let Shen yuan go- his Shizun stayed firm and didn’t get swayed.
“ But Shizun! Shen yuan is far too young to go! Send one of the senior disciples to do it, Shen yuan is ill equipped.”
“ Head disciple Shen. I believe that disciple yuan will be able to do far better than you expect. Have faith in that brother of yours.”
Upon hearing that his shizun wouldn’t budge, Shen jiu signed in defeat. He really hopes that nothing bad happens his A-yuan….
“ A- yuan- just promise me that you’ll come back in one piece. Please. I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.” Shen jiu hated sounding so weak and unsure of himself, but what else can he do?
“ Gege.. you’re making sound as if I’m going to war. I’ll be back safe and sound, not only that but I’ll be back far more handsome! You’ll see!”
Shen yuan couldn’t help but feel excited! It isn’t every day that you get to leave the sect! Not only that but he’ll be traveling around the world helping everyone in need! ( and looking at cool beast)
After saying their goodbyes to his Shizun and all his peak siblings Shen yuan got on his sward and left.

After a month of traveling, Shen yuan was resting next to a river. Calmly eating a tasty meat bun while sketching a weird looking frog he found.
After a bit he heard the sound of twigs cracking.
“ Who’s there?!” Shen yuan said as he summoned his sward.
“ Ah- I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to startle you-“
A young boy then came out of the tree lined shadows. He was slightly taller than Shen yuan, and more handsome.. ugh- with thick curly hair tied into a high ponytail.
Upon seeing that he wasn’t a threat Shen yuan put his sward back and sat back down
“ Oh, no it’s ok. I’m sorry if I scared you, are you ok?” Shen yuan said with a kind smile.
The young boy slightly flushed “ Oh- yes I’m ok.. thank you for asking- I’m Luo Binghe and you are..?”
“ ah! I’m sorry for my rudeness. I’m Shen yuan. I’m a cultivator from Qing Jing peak! Nice to meet you Luo binghe.”
“ so what are you doing here by yourself? Are you lost? “
Luo Binghe smiled. “ no, nothing like that.. my father is a- cultivator… and sent me to travel by myself! I’m unable to come back home until I get stronger.”
Upon hearing this Shen yuan smiled “ I see, I guess me and you are the same!- ah- well not really I have to travel and help non cultivators for around 4 years before I’m able to go back to my sect. So- what do you think Luo Binghe? Do you want to travel with me?”
Luo Binghe looked at Shen yuan with dark twinkling eyes, almost as if the stars fell inside them. “ I would like that. Would you allow me to follow you?”
After that they both started to travel together, Shen yuan noticed one or two things about his new companion. For one, Luo Binghe was crazy strong! He once took out an entire fire-venom-salamanders nest! And those things are huge! Like as big as a street stand!
Second, Luo Binghe is an amazing cook! Shen yuan swears that everything he makes will taste heavenly!

Shen yuan has noticed something… he and Binghe had known each other for 2 years now, both of them are now 17 years old. Ah… how time flies. But something has been bothering him…
For a while he and Binghe had become somewhat awkward… it all started when they were setting up camp. It was in the middle of nowhere and they were both messing around in a small pond. Splashing each other with water as they washed some of their robes, but as soon as Shen yuan got up to stretch his legs he slipped, unknowingly he grabbed Binghe and dragged him down with him.
Shen yuan opened his eyes to see Binghe on top of him, thoroughly soaked, his thin under robes now slightly translucent.
Luo Binghe had a strange look in his eyes, almost- intense?
“ A-yuan… you smell really nice..” Binghe then began to crest Shen yuan cheek, almost lovingly and far to intimate for Shen yuan as of now.
Feeling his cheeks burn, Shen yuan quickly got up and pushed Binghe off him.
“ Ah- umm- I forgot to go get some firewood! I’ll go chop some! Bye!” Shen yuan hurriedly got his ax and scurried away.
Binghe looked as Shen yuan ran off “ But- A-Yuan… you just chopped some wood earlier today…”
Ever since that day awkward things kept happening… like shen yuan walking in on Binghe bathing… or accidentally touching each other’s hands. Almost k-kissing.
Hey! It was an accident ok?! The inn they had gotten only had one room- and one bed! So they decided to just sleep together ( Not like that!) so they simply bathed and went to sleep, nothing weird happing! Nope! But Shen yuan woke up to Binghe hugging him! AHH!!!! Their faces were so close that Shen yuan could count Binghes lashes! Not only that but… he could feel the closeness of their lips- just one inch closer and they’ll….
Nope!
Shen yuan quickly turned his face away
After a month of this weird- whatever it was game? Shen yuan was getting tired of it. For a while now Binghe seemed like he wanted to say something to Shen yuan, but every time Shen yuan looked his way he would quickly shut his mouth and look away! Arghh!!
Another week of this and Shen yuan was now officially fed up!
They were eating dinner, it was in a rather popular inn, the summer breeze blowing softly through the open window. They were eating quietly and the atmosphere tense.
Binghe hesitantly called “ Um.. A-Yuan..”
“ Yes, Binghe?” Shen yuan didn’t look at him, only looking down at his food.
“ I- Never mind-“ his cheeks flushed a bright red color.
Shen yuan felling his eyebrow twitch, slammed his hands down rather harshly.
“ Binghe! If you have something to say then say it like a man! I’m tired of whatever game you’re playing!”
Luo Binghe slightly stiffened “ I- no it really was nothing! I swear..”
Shen yuan sighed “ come one Binghe… things have been awkward lately, I want to know what’s wrong… won’t you tell me?” Shen yuan made sure to say this with a gentle voice.
Luo binghe relaxed just a bit and sighed “ A-Yuan.. we- I known you for a while now.. and - I think your the most smartest, funniest, a-and the most beautiful person I’ve ever meet- I- I really like you! And I’ve never meet anyone who chose me- would you… would you allow me to be close to you? N-not as friends but as lovers?”
Luo Binghe then grabbed both of Shen yuans hands and looked at him with large twinkling eyes.
Shen yuan felt his heart skip a beat, no one has ever told him these types of things before- and honestly, he liked it. The feeling of happiness amplified with each passing second, it soon went down when he realized he hasn’t answered Binghe’s question.
In fact he hasn’t said anything, for a cool minute or two.
“ I-“
“ A-yuan- please, you can take it as a joke if you want, just don’t say those words. Just let me follow you like before, please don’t push me away-“
“ What?! What do you mean ‘ take it as a joke’?! “ Shen yuan instantly felt all that love and happy giddiness turn into anger.
“ And- And to think I was going to say yes to you! The nerve!” Shen yuan then tried to pull his hands away, trying to run away.
Luo Binghe’s eyes shined like never before
“ Wait- A-Yuan, please I didn’t hear you please say it again-“
“ No! If you didn’t hear me then oh well.” Shen yuan then huffed and looked away.
“ A-yuan…” Luo Binghe’s eyes began to water, fat droplets threatening to slide down.
“ OK-ok! Don’t cry! I-I want to be t-together with you… as lovers..” he said the last part in a small whisper. Cheeks burning a bright red.
Before he knew it Luo Binghe pounced on him and hugged him till his bones felt like they were going to break.
A year later Shen yuan and Luo Binghe were in town, it was summer. The wind was hot and the town was complaining about a
snake-hornets nest that’s been very aggressive as of late. Once Shen yuan heard this he instantly felt somewhat alarmed, usually Snake-hornets are quiet and docile, never aggressive. He may have an idea on what’s going on…
“ Don’t worry master Yu, me and my partner will look into to it.” Shen yuan said reassuringly.
Master Yu smiled kindly “ Aya- many thanks to you young cultivators, if you find yourselves in need of anything don’t hesitate to ask.”
Shen yuan nodded and turned to where he left Binghe.
“ A-yuan! Is it very serious?”
“ No, not really- if I’m correct then it shouldn’t be a big deal.”
“ ok then, I’ll do some shopping in town. Call me if anything happens.”
Shen yuan smiled and gave Binghe a shy peck on his cheek “ ok I’ll call if anything happens.”

It was what Shen yuan thought it was! There was a whole field of “Ever-Lasting Lust” flowers, its pollen was a pungent aphrodisiac and of course can make wildlife aggressive, thankfully it doesn’t make humans act aggressively, but still it can hurt the village so Shen yuan will have to relocate them somewhere else.
With a flick of his wrist Shen yuan was able to knock almost all of them out and relocate the nest to a non aphrodisiac spot, far-away from the village. But god seems to hate him and of course had to screw him over because as soon as he made his way back he tripped- right on a bed of flowers… the same aphrodisiac flowers- Ahhh!!!!!

Shen yuan made it back to the village all in one piece. But the aphrodisiac was really getting to him, his whole body felt hot, and his mind felt as it were stuffed full of cotton. The villagers tried to touch him, of course only trying to help him keep balance since he was swaying. But with every little cress he let out a small and embarrassing whine.
It didn’t take long for Luo Binghe to find him, and he did not look happy.
Luo Binghe found his lover drenched in sweat, whining while other men touched him. Of course it made something ugly bubble up inside him. How dare they casually touch his A-Yuan! Shen yuan was his boyfriend! No one is allowed to touch him other the Luo Binghe! He then when up to them got his A-Yuan and swiftly went back and booked a room for them.
“A-yuan? Are you okay? What happened?”
“ ah… Binghe..”
“ Fucking aphrodisiac- Binghe… come closer-“
Luo Binghe felt himself flush, oh no.. this is bad.
Luo Binghe went closer enough for Shen yuan to grab his hair and crash their lips together.
Sparks flew, their kiss was searing hot, messy and downright filthy. The felling of lust slowly took over their minds,amplified by both of their whines and gasps.
Luo Binghe never felt so horny in his life, the slight thought of Shen yuan giving himself to Luo Binghe made his head spin.
Their hands wondered and groped each other, Shen yuan then snaked his hand into Binghe’s robes. He can feel the hardness of the heavenly pillar, hard and throbbing. The thought of it going inside him made Shen yuan shiver with anticipation.
Unable to control himself anymore, Luo Binghe exposed himself, his true self.
Luo Binghe wasn’t a regular human, no, he was a demon. Dark sleek horns grew, along with sharp fangs and long sharp claws. The demonic mark of sin glowed a hot red on his forehead.
“ A-Yuan, tell me to stop- tell me please-“
“ No-, Binghe, is Binghe… let’s stay together..”
That night they embraced each other, Shen yuan gave his mind, body, and soul to Luo Binghe. The man he truly fell in love with.

The next morning Shen yuan felt unexpectedly cold, he unconsciously searched for his lover, only to find that he was not there.
Feeing somewhat panicked he grabbed his robes and went to the front desk, where the madam was.
As soon as he saw her he ask if she had seen his partner.
“ oh? The young cultivator with the curly hair? Yes, this old woman has seen him. He left around twilight with a bag, he said he would return soon if you were to wake.”
Her voice was soft like honey but it did little to sooth him.
“ Ah- yes.. thank you for informing me madam.” He then left to his room and began to get ready for the day.
He said he would be back, so Shen yuan would wait. Binghe is probably getting something for breakfast, yes, he would never leave Shen yuan like that, nope, not his sticky boyfriend.
So Shen yuan waited, and waited, and waited. Minutes turned into hours, hours into days, and days into months.
Luo Binghe isn’t coming back.
Shen yuan realizing this, felt his heart slowly breaking. Why isn’t he coming back? Was it something he did or said? Was this all for games? What was it?
Did his Luo Binghe really play him? Was this whole thing really a game so Binghe can have sex with him?
Shen yuan felt himself slowly spiraling, the room no longer felt the same, it was suffocating.
He needed to leave- he needed to get out of here. So that’s what he did.
“ young cultivator! Did your partner come back? I didn’t see him.” It was the madam again, she was smiling sweetly.
Shen yuan gave her an empty smile “ Oh of course. I recently received a letter from him.. he had to on urgent business- he said he’ll meet me later, I should get going now- thank you for your hospitality.” Shen yuan was lying through his teeth, of course he was. He hadn’t seen his ‘lover’ for months now, and he probably never will again.
As Shen yuan got up on his sward, he felt his eyes grow hot.
“ I wish I never met him at all…”

That whole thing with ‘him’ was a year ago, Shen yuan is now 19 years old. His heart still aches every time he thinks of him.

Shen jiu was quite excited today, his baby brother is coming back home! Shen yuan of course sent letters every now and then but to see him face to face made him almost shout in joy.
But Shen yuan was usually never late, all the previous peak lords have already ascended and the new ones have already been given their tittles- so where is he?!
In the far distance he heard a commotion
“ Yuan-shidi!”
“yuan-shixiong!”
Upon hearing his brother’s name Shen Qingqiu ran as gracefully as he could.
“ what are you yelling for? What happened?”
“ Shizun! Shen-shixiong!”
“ it’s Yuan-shidi! Something’s wrong with him! His belly looks weird and he’s in pain!”
Shen Qingqiu looked to where they were pointing at only to see his brother with- a belly the size of a watermelon?!
Immediately they went to Qian Cao Peak.

“ Mu-shidi, how is he?”
“ Shen-shixiong, Yuan-shidi is doing quite well.. although- he is going into labor…”
Shen Qingqiu’s face deadpans
“ And - that’s possible…?”
“ Oh yes, very- although he seems to be in denial about it… whatever it is we’ll take care of him, no need to worry.”
As Mu Qingfang left to get ready for Shen yuan, Shen Qingqiu went to his brother’s room.
As he entered he heard quiet sobs, and pained groans.
“ Gege…?”
“ Oh, A-Yuan… what did you do this time?”
“ Gege. I’m not pregnant I swear! I don’t know- what’s going on!”
“ How is this even possible?! I’m a man??”
Shen Qingqiu quietly soothed him, holding his hand and muttering soothing words.
When Shen Qingqiu caches the beast that did this to his brother-
“Ah! Gege! It hurts! It hurts!”
“A-Yuan stay here I’ll get Mu-shidi.”
Shen Qingqiu was internally panicking, where the hell was that shidi of his???
As Shen Qingqiu rounded the corner he bumped into the exact person he was looking for.
“ Shen- shixiong? Is everything alright-“
“No! Its isn’t alright! Something’s wrong with A-Yuan! Hurry up and GET. IN. THERE!”
Mu Qingfang nodded and yelled out some orders to his disciples before going straight to Shen yuans room.
“ It’s going to be ok Yuan-Shidi, you’ll be just fine, just breathe.” Mu Qingfang said soothingly.
Shen yuan was so fucking scared“ I- What’s going to happen?!”
“ Like I said, Yuan-Shidi is pregnant and is going into labor, this shixiong will help and deliver your baby.”
Ok now Shen yuan was really confused “ What- “
But as soon as he spoke and unbearable pain seemed to have come out of nowhere. And it was right on his lower tummy.
“oh gods… Am I really pregnant?!”
“ This shixiong is glad you have come to terms with it, now, this Qingfang will do a simple procedure. I will cut into your abdominal region up and surgically remove the child from your uterus, ah, assuming you have one like it I suppose.”
Shen yuan unable to bear the pain any longer screamed “ OK! YES, DO IT ALREADY!!”

Ok, now Shen yuan may have blacked out- or maybe passed out, only for a bit though.
But it was enough time to see his child(??) come out of him.. literally.
At first glance it looked like an alien, a scruffy little pink thing that was crying and wiling, (what strong lungs I suppose?) it had limited hair and no teeth.
“ Congratulations! Yuan-Shidi! She’s a healthy and beautiful baby girl!”
Shen yuan raised an eyebrow ( Mu Qingfang are you sure it’s even human??)
Mu Qingfang grabbed a small basin with water and cleaned her off, he then gently handed her to a very tired and confused Shen yuan.
As soon as she was in his arms, Shen yuan felt an overwhelming feeling of love come over him. Even though she looked weird and pink, Shen yuan couldn’t help but think that she was the most adorable thing he has ever seen.
Yes, Shen yuan had given birth to her, his adorable baby girl. His baby.
After a few hours of getting fully cleaned, getting stitches, and making sure he and his baby are well and healthy, Mu Qingfang deemed them well enough to leave them alone for a good nights rest. And of course to let in a very concerned visitor.
As soon as Mu Qingfang deemed Shen yuan well Shen jiu quickly went inside his brother room.
Shen Qingqiu made sure to brace himself for what he was about to see, and of course the first thing he saw was his brother looking at a small- thing? Or whatever the hell it is, very lovingly.
Shen yuan noticing his brother, signaled him over.
“ Gege! Look, isn’t she just lovely?” Shen yuan said in awe.
Shen jiu sighed, “ Yes she’s quite-“ upon further inspection, she had similar features to his brother, the same Moes on her face, same lips, and same thick eyelashes. Shen jiu gave an approving nod
“ Yes, my niece is quite adorable.” She of course had Shen jius nod of approval, even if she didn’t resemble Shen yuan at all, Shen jiu still finds her quite charming.
“ So.. what have you decided to name her?” Even if they weren’t supposed to utter her name till her 100th day, Shen jiu was still curious.
Shen yuan smiled “ Shen Lihua, that will be her name.”
Shen jiu hummed, yah that name is good.

The next day, Shen jiu payed his brother another visit. This time to ask Shen yuan a question he had for a while.
“ Who is her father?” Shen jiu ask with narrowed eyes.
Shen yuan slightly flinched, and began to slightly bounce his daughter nervously.
“ I- um.. Her father- yes, she has one..”
Shen jiu rolled his eyes “ I know she has one, I’m asking who is he.”
Shen yuan avoiding his brother’s eyes said “ Ok, look.. um- I don’t really know who, or how it happened…”
Shen jius eyes widened with concern, “What-!”
“ No! Wait that came out wrong! I mean like, I haven’t did um.. that, over a year ago, so the timeline doesn’t really add up, that’s why I’m confused..” Shen yuans face was now a deep red flush.
Shen jiu hummed “ yes, that is rather weird.. I shall speak to Mu Qingfang about this.” And with that he left the room rather dramatically.
Shen yuan looked down on his baby girl, “ how on earth did I conceive you?”
…..?
A few hours later and Mu Qingfang came in with a concerned look on his face.
“Shen-shixiong has told me some of Yuan-Shidis concerns, and to be frank this Qingfang would like to ask some questions.”
Shen yuan gave a hesitant nod
“ Shen yuan said that he hasn’t had sex in a year, do you recall what time exactly? And was there anything weird you were near? Like flora or beast?”
Shen yuan gulped and tried to think back to that year. “ yes…it was around summer and this one recalls he was infected by an aphrodisiac, I think it was the flower of ‘Ever-Lasting-Lust’. “
Mu Qingfang hummed, his eyes the darted to Shen yuan’s daughter. “ May this Qingfang examine Xiao-Hua? Just to check.”
Shen yuan, confused, gave Mu Qingfang his daughter.
Mu Qingfang flowed his qi into her and almost immediately his eyebrows shot up. He stayed examining her for a cool while, thoroughly sweeping his qi through her. After he was finished he gave Shen yuan his daughter.
“ Ah- Yuan-shidi, the last person you brought to your bed.. did he perhaps have demonic origins..?”
Shen yuans eyes widened “ Oh! Uh- actually.. yes.” He said with a grimace.
Shen yuan had forgotten about that little fact, that Luo Binghe was a heavenly demon. The most beautiful demon he had ever seen ( he wishes he could forget), of course Shen yuan won’t tell Mu Qingfang, he can’t, if they found out that Shen yuan let him into his bed, the whole sect would have a fit. Especially with the growing tension between demons and humans.
Mu Qingfang looked rightfully shocked, although, he instantly schooled his expression.
“ D-Does Shen yuan know what kind of demon he was..?”
Shen yuan made sure to keep his description vague but truthful,
“ I’m not really sure what kind he was, he never really spoke of it.. but he had long dark horns, long claws, and he was quite powerful..”
Mu Qingfang quickly wrote everything down, and looked at them with a puzzled expression.
“ Ah… this isn’t nearly enough to know what kind of demon he was but.. if he is as strong as Yuan-shidi says then it’s no wonder how he got pregnant.”
Shen yuan raised an eyebrow, waiting for Mu Qingfang to explain.
“ You see, yuan-shidi is a powerful cultivator, and if his then partner was also a powerful demon, then both will be able to procreate, no matter the gender. Most powerful demons are actually able to create artificial wombs, like the demons of the north, heavenly demons, and much other demon nobility. Unfortunately his Qingfang has yet to understand how, but this one hypothesis’s its with their demonic qi.”
“ Ah! But-that doesn’t explain how it could take a whole year for me to give birth! I-I didn’t have any signs of pregnancy for a long time!”
Mu Qingfang nodded “ Yes, this one actually believes he knows the answer for that.”
Shen yuan deflated “ oh..! So you do..?”
“ Yes, this Qingfang had read that most of the time during demonic pregnancies, the father would stay as close as possible to the mother, since the child needs both parents qi to develop faster. But, since your partner wasn’t there, it took longer for Xao-hua to develop.”
Shen yuan felt himself getting more and more agitated. That motherfucker got him pregnant!? Internally he raged, cried, and threw up.

After feeding his daughter ( Omg! He just breast fed a human child??? How the fuck is that even possible?!) Shen yuan had put her down for a nap, it’s been 3 months since she was born, and oh my gods was she growing fast?!
It felt like she was born only yesterday! But good things never last, and the question of her conception was brought up in the peak lord’s meeting, Shen yuan didn’t even know why he was there in the first place, he wasn’t even a peak lord?!!
When Mu Qingfang had figured out about his daughter’s demonic origins, Shen yuan cried and pleaded for him not to tell anyone until Shen yuan was ready and until his daughter was a little older. Thankfully he agreed and didn’t tell a soul.
So now Shen yuan was here sitting at the peak lords table.
“ So… Shen-Shidi, who’s Xiao-huas father?”
Qi Qingqi said with a sly sparkle in her eyes.
Shen Qingqiu, already not liking where this conversation was going tried to intervene.
“ Qi-shimei, you have quite the ill manners asking someone such a question like that. You’re even worse than the brute. ” He said with snark.
Qi Qingqi shot him a nasty glare, then turned to Shen yuan “ I didn’t mean anything bad by it, this one swears it, it’s just that all us peak lords were thinking that Xiao-Huas uh-features are quite exotic, and wanted to know who her father was.”
Shen yuan immediately grimaced behind his fan( yes his brother gifted him one) this was the one topic he hoped they didn’t bring up.
Yes, his daughter had some- unusual features. Of course she did, after all Shen yuan knows exactly who her father was, and truthfully he didn’t care who the other man was anymore, too bad things don’t exactly work like that..
You see, his cute little baby has demonic features, they’re oh so very subtle but enough for peak lords to detect. Her ears were slightly pointier than your average human, she had the most adorable little claws, and a faint amount of demonic aura. Thankfully she didn’t have his demonic mark on her forehead, or else it really would have been a problem, especially for peak lords.
Yes, she was a demon, not fully but still a demon. And Shen yuan will fight tooth and nail for her to be safe in her own home.
“ Yes, if you’re all wondering, her father was indeed a demon.” Shen yuan said dryly.
All he heard were scandalized gasps and whispers.
“ So it was true!”
“ I knew it! The child doesn’t look exactly human after all.”
“ This one isn’t even surprised, Yuan-Shidi always had a fascination with monsters. Of course he decided to bring one to his bed.”
Shen yuan felt his eyebrow twitch,
He waited for them to quiet down, but it was taking longer than expected, so he shot the sect leader a glance, hoping he’d intervene.
Upon seeing Shen yuan the sect leader got the massage (finally!)
“ Ahem- I mean of course we still love and cherish our little Xiao-Hua! Xiao-Yuan doesn’t need to worry, he and the child will still be treated with cared and respect.”
Hearing their sect leader giving his blessing, they all chimed in with their own compliments and blessings.
shang qinghua chimed in and asked “ When will we meet the young man?”
Instantly the room went quiet, I mean they were all thinking it, but still! How could you ask that?? It’s obvious that he isn’t here!!
Both shens shot him an icy glare
“ He isn’t here, and never will be.” Shen yuan said through gritted teeth.
The peak lords went quiet
“ Ah- but of course, if yuan-shidi doesn’t wish to talk he doesn’t have to!” The sect leader said with a strained smile.

Two years go by in a flash and his little darling baby is starting to walk even better than before, she started walking when she was only a year and a few months old, but now she’s gotten even stronger!
Shen yuan was currently reading her a book about flora, and she really seems to like it! I mean of course she would! She’s his daughter after all!
The reason for reading said book was not only for her entertainment, nope! It served for a distraction for Shen yuan. Right now he and Liu Qingge are going to a small village where a mysterious flora was appearing, the flora was allegedly making people go mad, and make them crave human flesh and blood.
When Shen yuan first heard of this he wanted to see how exactly was it “making people go mad”. He had heard of some flora that do something’s similar, but the victims were still fully functional and knew what they were doing. Not only that but it was quite easily curable with a few simple herbal teas. So hearing how some villagers were quite literally losing their minds and full on attacking people, was quite alarming, Shen yuan had never heard anything like it.
Usually a peak lord would lead this investigation, but since they didn’t really know wither it was a hoax or not they had sent Shen yuan and Liu Qingge to come and investigate and gather more info. With Shen yuan doing all the talking and investigations while Liu Qingge would fight anything coming their way. Quite a perfect little team they would make.
But! there is one problem. Shen yuan has a child, and usually he would just leave her with his brother but Shen jiu has been quite stressed over his peak lord duties and has barely gotten any sleep ( what if he passed out while looking after her?). And Shen yuan really didn’t trust the other peak lords all that much, nope! Not with his baby girl, so Shen yuan took her with him.
While Shen yuan was busy trying to soothe his flaring nerves, he didn’t realize that they were already at the village, ahh!!

Upon arriving at the village, they noticed how quiet and desolate it was. Barely any people were walking the streets, it was so strange because it was mid day! How could there be not a single soul in sight?
After a few minutes of walking they finally made it to the village heads home, he was a frail old man who looked withered and tired.
“ Ah, many thanks to you cultivators for helping our small humble village.” The old man said.
Shen yuan gave a kind smile, “ There is no need for any thanks, although we would like to know more about what exactly is going on.”
The old man nodded and started to explain,
“ On the outskirts of our village there is these blooming lily like flowers, deep red in color.
The town’s children had been the first to spot them and had taken some home to show their parents, but after a few minutes of getting into contact with the flower, they started going mad. The children became aggressive and started attacking some of the other children, they were like wild beast shredding apart their pray. We were able to catch and contain them but after a day or two they all started to die, their flesh rotted to the core, only leaving bone and organs.” The old man sighed.
“ After that incident, the flowers would bloom randomly in different places. Some of them would bloom in the marketplace and in different very populated areas. With these flowers blooming, more and more people would get infected, and alas die all within a few days time.”
Shen yuan listened intently to what the old man was saying, all of this sounds so unheard of. How could a flower do that? Was it the pollen? Was it simply an airborne disease that had infected the flowers first then transferred to humans? If it was an airborne disease then what about his baby? She would be at risk! Shen yuan already regretting his decision, holding his baby tightly, covering her little head with extra fabric leaving a small lump to form beneath his outer robe ( Look he may be been against the sling at first but it was a real game changer if you use it right!)
“ I see.. thank you for explaining, me and my partner would like to investigate some of these flowers and any infected people if there is any.”
The old man nodded and brought them to a large storage room on the outskirts of his home. Inside was a young woman bound to a chair and babbling madly, her mouth foaming and the smell of rot strong in the air.
Yah.. Shen yuan won’t be staying here with his baby. Nope!
“Liu-shixiong, I’ll leave this to you.”
Liu qingge nodded and went further into the shed.
Shen yuan left to go look for these ‘lillie’s ‘
All while making sure his daughter was well covered and secure.
After a bit of looking Shen yuan found a small bundle of them growing. Small and delicate.
He took some of them, making sure it didn’t touch him or his clothing, and safely put them in storage. He will send Mu Qingfang a sample of them for further testing. As soon as he got out of the forest the stars had already came out. They looked so bright and beautiful
“ Xiao-hua, look! The stars came out to play.”
His daughter poked her head out to see what her baba was pointing at. Her dark eyes grew large, they even reflected the same stars she was looking at.
“ Ma! Stars!” Xiao-hua said while pointing a chubby finger at the sky.
Shen yuan smiled and nodded, ah.. his daughter is adorable!

As he made it back to the inn he saw Liu qingge talking to man.
The man was tall and muscular, with dark curly hair and black robes that looked very expensive. The more Shen yuan got closer the more familiar he looked.
Yes, he looked familiar… really familiar..!
Shen yuan realized it too late, that was no ordinary man.
It was Luo Binghe.
Shen yuans ex boyfriend, and father of his child…!
Before Shen yuan could make his escape Luo Binghe had already spotted him, and oh gods did he look shocked.
They both stayed, frozen.
Neither of them knew what to say or who would make the first move.
Seeing that Luo Binghe wasn’t going to talk, or Maybe too frozen to talk. Shen decided to breaks the ice first.
“ Ah- Liu-shixiong who is this young man?” Shen yuan said through gritted teeth.
Liu Qingge raised an eyebrow, “ Oh, apparently he’s also here to investigate the weird flowers. Ah- yah, I don’t know his name.”
Shen yuan tried to smile and turned to Luo Binghe “ Ah- This one’s name is Shen yuan and my partner here is peak lord Liu Qingge. Now if you excuse me, I have some important matters to attend to-“
“ Wait-!” Surprised, Luo Binghe closed his mouth shut. Then began again
“I-Th-This one means to say is that, I’d like to ask some questions about the flora. Would the darling of Cang Qiong Sect care to explain some things to this one?” Luo Binghe said with a charming smile.
Internally Shen yuan wanted to yell. Why the hell did he want to talk?? And stop looking at me like a kicked puppy! Remember that it’s you that left, not me!!
Shen yuan wanted to refuse so bad but he’d probably make Cang Qiong lose even more face and he doesn’t want to give anymore bad impressions, his jiu-ge would literally kill him.
“ But of course, come to my room so we can discuss more.” Shen yuan didn’t even bother to hide his dry tone, at least he could get away with this!
Once he sent away Liu Qingge, Shen yuan made it to his room, Luo Binghe said he’ll be back to talk in a couple minutes, apparently he has some things to do. But that’s not what Shen yuan is worried about… Luo Binghe surely has seen shen yuans baby, and to be honest Shen yuans scared he’ll say something about her. What would they even talk about? Shen yuan doubts it will only be about the flora.
As if noticing Shen yuans internal turmoil his little girl tried to cheer him up by tugging on his hair and demanding food.
He sighed, gosh what would Shen yuan do without her? As he took out a jar of baby food, there was a knock on the door. Shen yuan said “come in” without thinking that it was maybe Luo Binghe… And of fucking course it was!!!??
“ Ah- Shen yuan… T-This one brought some tea..” Luo Binghe said, but as he entered the room he finally had a good look of the baby.
She looks exactly like his A-Yuan.
Bitter jealousy coiled in Luo Binghe’s gut, who was Shen yuan with in order to have a child? Did he love her more than he loved him? It’s impossible no one loves Shen yuan more than Luo Binghe.. no one, not even that whore he had a baby with.
Luo Binghe sat down and gently pored a cup for him and A-Yuan. Shen yuan and Luo Binghe took a sip, waiting for the other to start talking.
“ Ah… Since when did Shen yuan have a daughter? I’ve never heard of him having a child… or a wife.” Luo Binghe’s eyes were dark and piercing, filled mild rage and obsessive jealousy.
Shen yuan already not liking this conversation and the look in his eyes, averted his gaze “ She was born 2 years ago.. ah- and I don’t have a wife..”
Luo Binghe smiled cruelly “ Oh! I see… so you fucked a whore who didn’t even bother to stay? How interesting..”
Shen yuan gasped “ What?! And why do you care?! It’s none of your business who I bring to my bed!”
Luo Binghe scowled, and Shen yuan internally snickered. Ha! See how you like that!
Luo Binghe eyes now glowing a faint red asked “ And who else did you bring to your bed while I was away, hm? Who else were you inside of? None of them could love you like I could.”
Shen yuan was now utterly confused “ Huh? What do you mean ‘while you were away?’”Motherfucker you left?! How does that make sense??
Shen yuan frowned “ I-I don’t know what you’re talking about Luo Binghe.”
Luo Binghe laughed unhumorously “ Ha- I should’ve known someone would take you from me. Someone is always trying to take what’s mine… why does no one ever choose me…”
Strong demonic aura began to seep out of Luo Binghe, it was suffocating. The sense of bitter jealousy was clear in his eyes.
Shen yuan internally panicked “ Luo Binghe! What- “
Shen yuan snapped his mouth shut once he heard soft cries coming from his daughter. After she had finished eating a while ago, she had fallen asleep. But now she looked as if she were in pain, uncomfortably shifting in Shen yuans lap while pain clear in her little scrunched up face.
Shen yuan bounced her and tried to sooth her as best he could, but it only made her cry harder. Feeling increasingly startled by how hard she was now crying Shen yuan snapped at Luo Binghe.
“ Luo Binghe! Stop releasing your demonic aura! Now! ”
After hearing Shen yuan snap at him Luo Binghe had the look of utter confusion. Almost as if he didn’t know what he were doing.
“ Yuan..? What- What am I doing? w-What am I doing?! “
Luo Binghe quickly stoped releasing his demonic aura but it was too late. Shen yuans little baby at this point was whaling loudly, so much so that her little face was beet red and her little hands tried to claw at herself.
Shen yuan wanted to cry, what’s wrong with his baby? Why is she crying so much? What can he do? Mu Qingfang was at the sect and was quite far from them. Not only that but Shen yuan doesn’t even know if the village had a doctor. But still Shen yuan has to try.
Shen yuan shot up from his seat, all with the intention of leaving to find a doctor. But of course someone had to get in his way.
“ What are you doing let me go! S-Something’s wrong with my baby!”
Luo Binghe didn’t even look at Shen yuan only at his daughter, he looked at her with intense eyes, all while looking specifically at her forehead.
“Yuan.. w-what? Who is her mother.. why does she have a…”
Shen yuan, confused, also looked at Xiao-Hua.
Only to see the glowing demonic mark on her forehead, the mark that is oh so identical to her father’s.
Shen yuan looked at her with concern and fear
“ Oh, no.. please don’t do this to me- not now..”
Luo Binghe shook Shen yuans arm “ Yuan! Talk to me! Why does she have a heavenly demon mark?! Who was her mother?!”
Shen yuan without looking at Luo Binghe whispered “ I am.”
….
…
….
Luo Binghe looked at Shen yuan, “What?”
“ I- yuan th-This one is confused.. Please elaborate, please.”
Shen yuan took a shaky breath “ I- I gave birth to her, technically I’m her mother-“
Luo Binghe’s face paled then quickly morphed into jealousy “ Who-“
“ Don’t-! Ask unnecessary things Binghe… “
After a beat or two Luo Binghe gasped, and slowly touched his own forehead “ You- and my father..?!”
Shen yuan snapped grabbed his fan from inside his robes and threw it at Luo Binghe.
“ What?! No! S-She’s your daughter! You-You got me pregnant! And I don’t even fully understand how! Apparently it was the demonic qi, but how does one do it unconsciously?!”
After Shen yuan finished with a huff, he sighed tiredly, “ Well, I’m sorry that I kept it from you don’t be mad. Though, you don’t have to worry ,I don’t expect you to take responsibility, it was done without you or me knowing anyways.”
Once Shen yuan was done he looks at Luo Binghe, who was oddly quiet. Seeing that was wasn’t talking (again) Shen yuan took this as sign to leave, but before he could Shen felt someone tug on his sleeve. Confused Shen yuan turned back and saw Luo Binghe, his eyes now puffy and slightly red with fat tears rolling down his face.
“ What- Why are you crying?!” Shen yuan was panicking, first his baby was crying and now Luo Binghe?! Shen yuan glanced at his arms to see his daughter sleeping soundly, with a relived sigh he turned his attentions back to Luo binghe.
“ Binghe-“
Luo Binghe rubbed his face with his sleeve “ I never wanted to leave!”
Ok! Now Shen yuan was really confused, before Shen yuan could ask what he meant, Luo Binghe scrambled to explain himself.
“ I-after our first time together, my father had sent word that he was waiting outside, he said he wanted to talk. When this one went he said that I was needed back in the demon realm and before this one could even deny him, he used a teleportation device and this Binghe was sent back. A-Yuan I told him to send someone and to tell you that your Binghe will be back soon, I wrote letter saying where I was! Why-Why didn’t you stay?!”
Luo Binghe was now a sobbing mess, he was now kneeling on the floor while pathetically clutching Shen yuans robes. He didn’t know what to do Shen yuan felt as if he were gutted.
“ Binghe.. I- No one ever came.”
Luo Binghe looked up to Shen yuan with a pained expression “ W-What do you mean?”
“ When you left.. the message I got was so my from the madam.. Binghe I never received any messages from you. If I did I would have definitely stayed! I- I thought you simply just left.”
Luo Binghe gasped with tears still flowing down his face, “ A-Yuan, they’ll never be a day in my life where I wouldn’t want you by my side.” He then began to nuzzle Shen yuans robes.
“ Yuan… can I come home..?” Shen yuan was in aw and shock. Not only did Binghe not want to leave him, but the whole thing was from miscommunication.
“ So, Binghe’s not mad about Xiao-Hua..?”
Luo Binghe’s eyes snapped open and looked at Shen yuan intensely “ How could this one be mad? Yuan gave birth to my daughter! Not only did he raise her well, but he protected her even with her demonic lineage! A-Yuan I could never be mad! I-I always wanted to have a family with you-“ and just like that Luo Binghe began to sob all over again.
Shen yuan sat down on a pillowy cushion, with Binghe laying his head on his lap while Xiao-Hua slept soundly on Binghe’s chest. As they both looked as she slept the demonic prince couldn’t help but commit on her appearance.
“ A-Yuan.. she really does look so much like you.” Luo Binghe said in aw.
Shen yuan quirked an eyebrow “ What? She clearly looks like you. She has your hair.”
Binghe smiled softly and gave her a small kiss on the top of her head. To Luo Binghe she has Shen yuans everything, his smile, his eyes, his moles. Yes, she was definitely perfection.
