Chapter Text
Trump’s House in Florida
Donald Trump wakes up and looks at his phone. He realizes that today is the most important day of his life. It’s election day. Today could be the day when he regains his life in the white house. He lays in bed for a second thinking about his campaign. He thinks about all the rallies, his fans, and the debate with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and everything he was going to, once he won. He thinks about how his campaign was originally suppose to be against Joe Biden and when he dropped out he felt a sadness come over him. He shakes that thought out of his head and jumps out of bed to get ready for the big day.
The White House
Joe Biden couldn’t sleep that night. The thought of Trump winning this election and destroying everything he’s done within the last four years kept him awake. He sits up with Jill by his side and reaches for a bottle of his medication at his bedside. After he takes his medication he gets up out of bed and gets dressed. He hears a phone ring from his office. As Biden heads towards his office a man dressed in a secret service uniform steps in front of him and says “It's Kamala sir.” As he walks with the man towards his office, his cell phone rings. Biden looks at his phone for a minute.
“ Tell her I’ll call her back. I… I need to take this” Biden said with a exhausted expression
The man walks back into his office, while Biden picks up his cell phone.
“What do you want? I’m kind of busy right now” said Biden in a serious tone.
“Oh, I’m sorry to interrupt your slumber, Sleepy Joe” said Trump in a playful manner
Biden couldn’t help but roll his eyes at that comment. “ Why do you keep calling me that? You know that that “nickname” annoys the hell out of me.”
” Because it’s funny and…” Trump is interrupted by Biden yelling at him
“No, what was funny that you said people in Springfield Ohio eat cats and dogs and.. and you think you can still win this election. You know what, I don’t have to take this Goodbye.”
Before Biden got the chance to hang up, Trump said” Wait wait… I… I need to tell you something before the results come and I become the president again”
” If…” Biden corrected him
”Whatever you say. Anyways… I just wanted to say… I wished that you would have stayed in the race. The campaign wasn’t the same without you running against me.”
“Yeah, well after our last debate, I realized that I’m getting too old for this job. Look I… I have to go.” Before Trump could get another word in, Biden hung up.
