Sapnap mined some coal with his pickaxe. He turned towards his furnaces and began smelting the iron he had found earlier. Once he was finished, he looked up and saw Dream's name tag. He gasped and waited impatiently for at least some iron to smelt.
Once one piece of iron smelt, he immediately made a shield. He mined the furnaces after seeing how close Dream was now.
Sapnap ran in the opposite direction, bolting through caves.
"Oh, Sapnap!" Dream called out, his compass revealing Sapnap's location.
"Aw, fu—" Sapnap cursed under his breath, hearing Dream's footsteps get closer. He ran through a cave until he saw a skeleton. He gasped and contemplated running the other way, but Dream's footsteps were too close. He couldn't mine through the wall either, because it would take too long.
He had to face the skeleton.
Sapnap swung at the skeleton, the skeleton quickly noticing his presence. The skeleton pulled back his bow and Sapnap took out his shield as Dream's footsteps got louder and louder. Sapnap turned around to face Dream, the skeleton shooting him in the arm.
"Agh!" Sapnap let out a pained shout. Dream smiled, knowing Sapnap had to take on either the skeleton or himself.
"Oh, looks like the skeleton's drawing his bow again!" Dream smiled evilly, taking a step closer to Sapnap. Sapnap didn't want to get shot again, so he quickly turned around and blocked. The skeleton took a second to shoot at him, giving Dream enough time to swing his axe at Sapnap.
Sapnap grunted in pain as his shirt was ripped, blood seeping into his clothes. He fell over, but quickly got back up and swung at Dream.
Dream blocked his hit with his shield, noticing the skeleton behind Sapnap drawing his bow again. Dream decided to not warn Sapnap, resulting in Sapnap's back getting shot. He let out a muffled scream of pain, dropping down to the ground.
"Just give up, Sapnap," Dream smiled, pointing his axe at Sapnap's neck.
"Never," Sapnap said, knocking the axe out of Dream's grasp, towards the skeleton. The skeleton collapsed into dust as Sapnap got up, looking bruised and beat up. He had a determined look on his face.
"Stubborn, as usual." Dream took out dual swords, ditching his shield that was almost broken. He charged at Sapnap, getting his swords blocked by Sapnap's shield. Sapnap then swung his axe at Dream but he backed up, so only his hoodie ripped, and a bit of his sleeve.
Dream looked down at his green hoodie, frowning. He looked back at Sapnap.
"That was a mistake, hon," Dream smirked. Sapnap felt regret almost immediately as Dream charged at him. He struck at Sapnap's shield blow after blow until Sapnap released hold of the shield.
The shield fell onto the ground beside the two. Dream paid no attention to it and swung at Sapnap again. Sapnap yelped and backed up too much, making himself fall over. He backed up until he was against a cave wall, shutting his eyes as Dream got closer.
'That’s not good,' Sapnap cursed mentally. He knew he was done for.
Sapnap didn't even have to open his eyes to hear someone sitting down in front of him, smelling the familiar scent of a particular boy.
He could feel bruised, dirty fingers lift up his chin, causing him to forcefully look up at the hunter.
He opened one eye, refusing to look at Dream. He looked down, opening both eyes.
"Look at me," Dream commanded. Sapnap rolled his eyes, annoyed.
Reluctantly, Sapnap looked into Dream's emerald green eyes. They sat like that for what felt like eternity, admiring each other.
Eventually, Sapnap looked away reluctantly. He sighed.
"I guess you win," Sapnap reluctantly muttered. He noticed Dream smirk out of the corner of his eye. He rolled his eyes at him before looking back into his eyes, noticing a small hint of lust hidden in them.
Sapnap stared at Dream, trying to read his eyes. What he didn't notice was Dream slowly leaning in. He unconsciously closed his eyes when he saw Dream doing the same. The next thing he knew, he felt a pair of lips against his own.
Sapnap put a hand behind Dream's head as Dream turned his head slightly, deepening the kiss. At one point, Dream forced his tongue into Sapnap's mouth. He held back the urge to moan, failing miserably as Dream explored around the inside of his mouth. They parted for a second to breathe until Dream went back in, connecting their tongues. Sapnap started playing with Dream's hair, moaning again.
A moment later, they parted, panting. Dream got his hand off of Sapnap's chin to clear his throat, getting off of him. He lended a hand to Sapnap once he had gotten up.
Sapnap gladly took his hand, pulling himself up as the arrows dug into his skin. He grunted in pain. Dream looked at him with worry.
"Let's heal you up," Dream said, going through his inventory. He found some food and gave it to Sapnap who immediately began to eat the food with no hesitation. He slowly started feeling better.
"We should head back home," Dream grinned.
"Yeah. These arrows are going to be the death of me, literally," Sapnap noted, making sure to make it evident that he was in pain from the arrows. Dream chuckled, and started leading Sapnap home.
