Tai Kamiya bearer of the crest of Courage, also known as the leader of Digi Destined or Chosen Children depending on who you talked to received a call from his fellow Digi Destined of Knowledge Izzy Izumi. To gather the other members of their group and meet in the Digital World as a strange phenomenon was occurring in the sky over the Continent of Server. According to a message he received from Gennai.Tai quickly called the others and told them to head to the schools lab so they could open a portal and see what was up. After they all entered at File Island they quickly rounded up their Digimon and after a quick greeting headed to Server by way of Davis Motomiya and Ken Ichijoji fusing their partners X Veemon and Stingmon into Palidramon then having him evolve into his Mega stage Imperialdramon they made it to Server in no time flat. After arriving they meet up with the caretaker of the Digital World Genai who explained to them all the situation. Genai warmly said "Hello Digi Destined it's good to see you all in good health." Izzy replied, "It's good to see you again as well Genai what insights do you have about this strange atmospheric occurrence." Davis then exclaimed "Can we get that last part in English." Yolei then exclaimed " Davis can you shut up for five minutes so we can find out the situation. " "Hey I'm just asking a simple question." Davis shot back. Coughing to get there attention Genai then began to explain that nothing has appeared out of the portal in a hostile manner. It was then a voice spoke "Greetings Digi Destined I am Alphamon." The group and Genai turned to see a black armored humanoid digimon. Tai being the leader spoke first to the powerful looking mon. "Hello what is it you need from us." The powerful mon replied "To warn you of a threat that could effect the Digital World throughout multiple universes but first I will show you it's universe of origin." He then preceded to open another portal and a image appeared. There were three beings who appeared only two looked familiar to the observers as a Greymon and a brown haired boy with goggles and unruly hair appeared before them on screen. But what was unfamiliar to the group was the blue dinosaur like Digimon that stood by the familiar faces side.
"So... so this is what a real Greymon looks like." Taichi said as he stood beside his blue Digimon partner to face down the orange dinosaur like three horned champion Lizard. Taichi then showed a little smirk "all right". He then shouted a command to his blue partner "Go! Zero! Go around him and aim for the back of his head!"
"That's Tai" Augumon exclaimed, Tentomon pondered "I've never seen that species of Digimon before?"
" OK Taichi" responded the giant blue lizard as he dodged the Claws of the incoming Greymon and proceeded to strike the back of its head knocking it out in one punch. Taichi yelled out in excitement "Yeah 100% wins! " Whew I guess my orders were right on. Zero then said "Whew, I guess I sure am strong." The two proceed to smirk at each other. Taichi then says "At any rate I bet we're unbeatable." Zero replies "yeah" and laughs.
Sora then says to her longtime friend " Oh so humble Tai." Tai responds " Hey I'm not like that." Matt jumped in" Now your not." Tai then mumbles "Nobody asked you".
"My name is Taichi Yagami. I don't know why, but a few days ago I found myself here in the Digital World..." The scene then change to a convention center hallway. "It was the first day of the D-1 Grand Prix Digimon Tamers convention." "What how come I didn't qualify !?" Taichi yelled "You've got a Digimon that wasn't programed into the game. I'm sorry but it's against the rules." Replied the tournament organizer. " "What? My Zero!?" Taichi exclaimed.
"Sempai got kicked out this is bogus !!" Yelled Davis. Cody then replied "They have to be fair to all competitors Davis."
A random silver haired kid then spoke "We can't have you battle with that trick monster of yours Taichi." Taichi then exclaimed "That's not it I raised him and this is just the way he came out."
"Big brother raised his partner from birth?" Kari shocked blurted out.
They watched as Taichi sat on a bench inspecting his V-pet. "Darn it maybe it's broken or something." A bright light then started to shine from the device making Taichi yell out "Huh!?". He saw the words "Welcome to Holy Angel Castle" appear on the screen in gold letters.
"Oh boy I know where this is going." Matt snarked.
"I was enfolded in a blinding light." Taichi continued to narrate. "The next thing I knew I was here in this world." The image showed Taichi flat on his face with Zero standing beside him. His narration continued "And this guy." Taichi on screen regains consciousness screaming "WAH!!!" as he made to get up. Zero then spoke to him "Don't be afraid I'm your Digimon Zero." "What...?" a confused Taichi gasped out. "Hi" Zero said giving Taichi the peace sign. "The real life version of my Digimon Zeromaru. Turned out to be an unknown type of Digimon after all." So in order to find a way back home to my world, I started on a journey across the Digital World with Zero. Taichi proceeded to ask his partner are question as they traveled " Hey have you ever heard of Holy Angel Castle? " "I don't think so?" Zero replies.
Izzy exclaimed "Fascinating a unknown species of Digimon is that because his Taichi is on a alternate of our earth, or because he and his partner are on a different continent or maybe..." Mimi silenced him " Quiet something else is happening. "
The 100% combination heard someone exclaim "OW!" Looking downward they see a Gabumon with a sack. Taichi asks "Are you ok?" "Wah!!" The Gabumon exclaims "What's a human doing here?" Taichi replies " That's what I'd like to know." Then he explains there story "Actually we..." A lengthy explanation later "I see so you got transported here from the human world. That sure is strange." Said Gabo as they all sat and talked while Taichi wrapped his sprained ankle. "You said it..." said Taichi. "Thanks"Gabo told him after he was finished. "You're pretty good at this."
"He sure is." replied Joe examing the other Tai's medical know how.
"I'm Gabo the Gabumon" the now named Gabo introduced himself. "Thanks for helping me". Hahaha! No problem. Healing is one of the basics of being a Tamer." Taichi then preceded to tap his mouth shut. "What'll this heal?" Zero asked "You're big mouth" replied Taichi. Gabo then scratched under his chin "A Tamer huh... so that means you raised that puppy like dragon? "Yeah" said Taichi. "Who're you calling a puppy! " yelled Zero "I'm Lord Zero the Veedramon." Gabo replied "That's Unusual...I've never seen his type here on the Continent of Folder...." "The Continent of Folder?" Taichi questioned.
"Even the local Digimon don't know the type truly curious." Genai pondered while watching the duo on screen along with Gabo the Gabumon.
Gabo then started to run off in a hurry with his sachel. "Oh I've got to hurry back to the castle." "What castle?" Taichi asked. "I've got to bring this food back to entertain the guests at Holy Angel Castle on the way I was attacked by monsters and had to run away." Gabo answered. " Holy Angel Castle!? " Taichi yelled out. Only to be interrupted by a loud roar. Gabo cried out " Oh no... he's coming..." " He followed me" A giant yellow spiked turtle like Digimon appeared. "There he is! That's him! I was attacked by this Tortomon!"
Davis and Veemon yelled out "Oh no Tortomon."
Taichi looked through his notebook "What? Tortomon? I've never fought one of these before." Then he closed his book and readied for battle." Well, we'll manage somehow! Just leave it to us!" As Zeromaru prepared to fight his new opponent. Gabo screamed in hysterics. "What!? You're gonna fight him !?" Taichi confidently told him "We've won 100% of our battles!" Taichi continued "In exchange if we win you take us to the Castle". Gabo looking over the journal muttered "That puppy Dragon doesn't look so strong to me..." Taichi then gave Zero an order. "Zero! Punch him in the neck! " "OK!" The blue horned lizard lunged forward and striked. Only to let out a pained whimper "Taichi my hand hurts."
This caused everyone watching to comically face fault. Tai and Augumon began yelling at the 100% duo to not embarrass their good names.
Taichi responded with a dumbfounded "Huh?" Gabo yelled out "You Fool" then he continued "What's this?" " Vs. Greymon, Vs. Numemon, Vs. Tuskmon... these are all File Island Monsters!!" To which Taichi responded with another confused "Huh?" Gabo continued to explain " The monsters here on Folder are so strong the Monsters on File Island can't even begin to compare!" Taichi began to understand "I get it. I think I heard of this! Those Monsters are from the New Digimon Pendulum." To which he then laughed while scratching his head" I actually don't have that one." Gabo screamed out " There's no time for that! He's gonna crush your monster!!" They both looked to see Tortomon firing twin shell like pin missles from his shell. To which Gabo exclaimed "Here it comes Shell Phalanx!!"
" Oh no!!!" Cried out Sora, Kari and Mimi at the same time.
Taichi yelled out to Zero "Get out of the way Zero!" To which the Veedramon replied " I don't need you to tell me that...!" He said while dodging the yellow spiked missles. Zero yelled out to his partner "Don't you have any good plans Taichi!!" "His whole body is as hard as his shell!" Gabo muttered in fear " It's no use... his whole body's covered with a high density material." " It's not something that can be easily broken by a punch or a beam. " He continued meanwhile Taichi thought of every detail he knew of watching Tortomon. Till he recalled a key detail from watching this battle play out.
Tai Kamiya yelled out to his friends and fellow onlookers watching the images on screen. " Oh I think other me has figured something out."
Taichi spoke "No... there is a place where he's not covered. " To which Gabo stuttered "Wh..What...!!?" Taichi yelled out his command " Get him after he shoots Shell Phalanx!!! Go Zero! To which his blue draconian partner replied "I get it Taichi !" Jumping into the air. Gabo yelled at them both " I said it's useless. There's no way you can aim at just that area." To which Taichi grinning replied "Zero can do it." While said mon fired his attack "V Breath Arrow!!" aiming a direct hit. To which Taichi yelled out in victory "Got Him!" As Tortomon disolved into data. Gabo was astonished and gasped " Wow! Amazing!"
Everyone watching had to agree with the statement from Gabo. Tai, Davis, Agumon and Veemon chorused together "Alright". Izzy remarked "That was incredible to aim at the exact location in such a small area takes extreme detail.
Gabo thought to himself " The discernment to spot in a split second the enemies weakness in battle. And the honed skills to aim for even a small point... a feat a monster raised in the wild wouldn't be able to match..." " Is the combination of Tamer and Monster really so much better!? " Gabo continued his thought before letting out a "Ha!" " C...could it be that these two are the guests awaited at Holy Angel Castle?" He pondered while watching the duo do their " Victory Dance" then thought to himself " No there's no way these Idiots could be the ones." Gabo then spoke to the duo "Well I'll show you to the castle like I promised. Let's go Taichi and Zero! " "Hey can we have some food?"Zero asked. Taichi stomach also grumbled. To which Gabo replied "No". As the three started their journey to the Castle.
Izzy pondered a question aloud to the group "So we learned this Taichi is on a journey by himself with no other human companions heading on a journey to this Holy Angel Castle. " To which Ken said " That's correct. " Alphamon then spoke to the group " There is more to see on this Taichi's journey watch his trials and tribulations closely." he said.
