“Cross, I’m heading to the bar. You want to come with?”
Now that request really surprised the sniper, Tech looking anxious and perhaps a little rattled too.
“You, Tech? A bar? Getting a drink?”
“Yes. Why is that so difficult to believe? I do enjoy the odd drink every now and again.”
“I… yeah, guess you do.”
Crosshair got up and ready, standing by Tech’s side without further coaxing ready for the drink himself.
“So, into the bar then?”
“Yes and we’re not leaving it until we’re both good and drunk and most of all, laughing and singing.”
“A threat?”
“Take it as you will. But yeah, that too. Threat.”
