Tensions between two nations has become unbearable to endure any longer and has now declared war on each other. Grenland and Vaugray have been at odds with each other and has now started their war machine to fight for their country.
With the introduction of the Airship, both sides now have a definitive way to approach and occupy each other’s territory.
Their first skirmish starts at the Ridge, a trench going from the north and south of two continents. Usually, travelling though this area via sea is difficult and would need an experienced crew to navigate the harsh currents but with the recent development of air travel, it’s not possible to bypass that hurdle.
Two Airships facing each other, at both ends of the Floating Islands, both preparing if they live to fight another day or will they fall into the deep sea in defeat.

“All Stations! Prepare to engage the enemy!” the speakers sounded, Grenland’s Captain ordered the crew to prepare. Everyone in the ship is either excited to fight or frightened to fight but nonetheless, they voluntarily enlist themselves to fight in this war for their country.
The Airship they’re in is an Umbra-Class Airship, fully decked with 10 deck-mounted cannon, 5 on each side, and 2 heavy machine guns on it’s upper deck, 6 pillars holds it’s body to the balloon and it’s vital to not be destroyed. It’s lower cargo bay, having 4 cannon, 2 on each side and houses the accommodations of all the crew. The boiler room is also housed in this being the heart of the Airship, with 3 boilers that keep the ship afloat. The most notable feature of this ship is it’s implementation of Runways, the top of the Airship is a Runway, that fully equipped to repair, rearm and replenish their planes to get back to the fight. It’s equipped with 4 flak cannons that can provide support to the planes with their fight in the skies.
Grenland’s current mission is to create an forward operating base within the floating islands so that they can do their operations closer to their opponent.
Seems like Vaugray is also doing the same.
The Captain is wearing a green military uniform, and a green cap, he looks young, in his mid twenties, and his voice seems to have a high pitch but is trying to keep it low.
A crewmate comes to the bridge and salutes at him, “Captain, everyone is ready to engage.” The crewmate said.
The Captain nods, “Alright, thank you Cadet.” The Captain looks at a tube beside the wheel, “Crew! Overclock the Engines!”
And after that, sounds of crewmates shouting can we heard behind his back as he turned his wheel to the left.
“Captain, the 31st Air Brigade is here to support you.” A voice came through his communicator and it’s one of the pilots.
The Captain grabbed his communicator and outs it close to his face, “Copy, maintain air superiority and keep the distance between their ship to us big.” The Captain ordered as he pulled a lever up, “Going up!” The Captain said through the speakers of the ship.
The Airship goes up rapidly and their speed closing in on the Vaugray’s Standhaft-Class Airship, making sure that their cannons have a shot on them. Grenlandic Planes passed them, starting to close in to the enemy Vaugran air force.
All the while the same thing is happening with Vaugray, but they are going to the right.
This will be intense.
The Soldiers are ready and the Airships are prepared for war, The First Airship Assault has begun.
