When Legend came out of the portal as the last one, he could see that Twilight and Wind were already recovering. Even if there are just three of them so far, they think that new heroes might join them. Twilight once said that he met with previous hero and that he taught him some important things.
Wind on the other hand, talked about a great flood that once flooded the Hyrule kingdom and created the Great Sea, where his little sister Aryl and their grandma lives. And practically everyone. He said that the flood was caused by the goddess after the disappearance of the hero of time.
Once the dizziness passed and he could finaly look around properly without his swimming vision, he saw that this world looked rather peaceful with the colors of autumn and all the fallen leaves on he the ground, that crunched under him. Even if he would love it to stay that way, he knew better then to be fooled like that.
,,Hey Leg. You alright?" Twilight was standing above him with offered hand. ,,I am alright." He took his hand and Rancher helped him on his feet. ,,And can you please stop calling me that?" The smirk on winds face as he approached sets him a little bit on edge. ,,Nope." He beamed. ,,Legend is just a little long."And of course Twilight adds in. ,,Not to mention it fits. You seem to be on Edge." Really? ,,You know since Leg and edge sounds simil-" Legend cuts him of before he can finish. ,,Alright, alright I got it." I really don´t have energy for this.
Wind was now runnig around. ,,Look at the trees and leaves! They are so colorful!" He shouted as he picked up handful of the leaves and throw them in the air. ,,Back in Ordon we make huge pile of them them and jump in them with the kids." Twilight adds in with a smile. Legend starts to think that Wind reminds Twilight of the kids in Ordon, he so talks about.
,,We should take a look around so we don´t get any unwanted suprises." They are lucky that the last encounter ended as it did. With just a few bruises and scrapes, which is just luck on their side that it wasn´t a bigger number of monsters that eppeared. ,, I don´t smell anything that could be danger to us." Twilight says. And then adds to it. ,,We really need to unwind and relax a bit, the last world wasn´t exactly welcoming."
Legend thinks for a minute about what Rancher said, and looks at Wind who already starts making the pile. ,,If you think its a good idea, go ahead. But for peace of my mind I´ll go scout ahead. I really don´t want any other suprises." And with that Legend picked a random direction and marched ahead.
He new that what Twilight said was true, but memories of their ancounter and his own previus adventures lingering in his mind, kept him on his toes. As he kept walking and finding no sings of any danger he decides just to sit down for a bit. Thinking about how Twilight put imporatnce in relaxing.
And he was right. They needed time to relax and unwind.
As he sat there he was thinking more about how neither of them were clearly not used to working in team, as their battles were uncoordinated and slopy. This is going to be interesting. Neither one of them thinks that this combined adventure will end anytime soon, so they need to work on their teamwork. and if his theory is true and new heroes will join them, it wil be more dificult to organize themselfs. Unless the new members will have some kind of experience with working in groups like that. It would be a big help if they did.
As he spirels out of his toughts Legend decided that he was here for long enough and that Rancher and Sailor would be woried about him. Even if he won´t say it out loud they grew on him in the short period of time they were together, and he doesn´t want add wories to all of it.
When he came closer he was starting to get nervous. He didn´t hear anything. It was quiet. Even if the forest isn't. On his adventures, he learned that when forest got silent, it meant there was something waiting for him, and that it would not be very freindly meeting.
When Legend was close enough for him to see the piles of leaves but no one there, he was a little more then unsetled by it. Could it be that another portal had apeard? Or had someone menaged to take them? His mind to start creating more theories of what could have happend, there was slight sound coming form one of the piles, that he could very easyli missed. He aproached the said pile carefuly.
,,Welcome back!´´ Wind jumps from the pile with wild grin on his face. Legend stumbles backwards in shock deep enough that he completly missed the root right behind his legs, and fall back righ on his ass in shock. As on cue Twilight apeared from the other other pile laughig. Wind joined in. ,,Ganons dirty ass hand! Really?!´´ Twilight was still gigling, but calmed down enough to talk. ,, You took your time Leg. We were almost woried about you.´´ Wind who was still laughing, says between his laughter. ,, Almost.´´ If looks could kill these two would already be six feet under. Still gigling on Twiligth took his hand and helped him up.
,,Alright, you had your laugh. Now, whos plan was it?" He had no ill intent behind it but why not have his own little fun. Right? ,,Winds." Did the Rancher just throw Sailor under the carriage? ,,Hey! You had your hand in it too!" Oh don´t worry his time will come as well. With a little mischiev in his eyes, Legend looked at Wind, and as on cue Sailor, on of the culprits, starts running away. Legend didn´t wait any second to start runing after him.
Wind was fast. And legend was a bit impresed by the speed. But he was faster. Once he finaly cought to him he graped him and thrown himself and the Sailor in one of the piles, carefuly so he didn´t hurt either of them, and started tickeling him. ,,No wait! i am-" he tries to say between the laughter, while trying to take a breath. ,,I am sorry!" Behind them Twilight had another laughing fit. ,,Nope. Too late. No mercy for you." Even Legend was gigling. Oh soo sweet revenge .
As fun as it was he didn´t want to torture Wind for long. After all, he did wanted to get revange on Twilight as well. He stoped but the laughing and gigling did not stop. They saw Twilight walking towards them, still laughing Legend was helping Wind up to his feet and whispred to him. ,,Don´t worry, I´ll get my revange on him as well." Wind gigled at that.
Yeah Twilight was right afterall. They indeed needed to unwind.
