Chapter Text
1. Tsubakino
The two were currently on the rooftop. The 3rd year coincidentally finding the bicolored teen sitting on the picnic table, seemingly taking a breather, and decided to accompany the younger. Tsubaki sat across the quiet teen, greeting him softly as to not break the peace and the 1st year returning a quiet greeting of his own.
Sakura watched as Tsubaki brought out three nail polishes. The first one being a bold red color, the second a pure white, and the third a simple clear polish. He then watched the older shake the bottles, hearing her hum while doing so.
Flickering her eyes to the mismatched ones observing her paint her nails quietly like a cat, Tsubaki couldn't help but let a smile stretch on her lips seeing the adorable boy so interested. Resisting the urge to squeeze and pepper the boy with kisses, Tsubaki only managed to question him.
"Want to paint my nails?"
"Huh?" Sakura perked up, snapping out of the small daze from watching his senior paint her nails.
Tsubaki smiled patiently and repeated her question. Hearing it again, this time paying attention, Sakura flushed at the offer.
"Well? You don't have to if you don't like." The long haired gently said as she watched the teen flush adorably as he nibbled on his lips in contemplation.
Sakura huffed, reaching an open palm towards the other, a quiet demand to hand him the polish. Smiling delightedly, Tsubaki handed the younger the red polish.
The 3rd year watched as the teen gently grabbed her hand closer to him, fingers flushed red in embarrassment. She then observed how the other unscrewed the bottle, wiping off the excess liquid on the opening of the bottle. Surprisingly, the younger had steady hands. He painted her nails perfectly in precise strokes as if he practiced the movement over and over again.
"Woah~ I didn't know you're good at this!" Tsubaki softly exclaimed, awed at how clean the edges of her nails are painted.
"Well.. Yeah. Some granny from a flower shop needed someone to paint her grand daughter's nails for her and somehow I ended up being the one doing it for her." Sakura explained, grumbling.
Tsubaki chuckled, hearing the story. A comfortable silence settles between them. Seeing the focused and occupied teen up close, Tsubaki used this as a chance to admire the boy. Long white and black pretty eyelashes casts a shadow over the teen's pale and soft cheeks. Molten gold and charcoal dark orbs sparkling under the sun's rays which made them marble-like. Thin and perfectly arched eyebrows slightly furrowed in frustration. Slightly chapped pinkish lips were hydrated by a quick swatch of a tongue, bottom lip jutted out slightly into a concentrated pout.
"You're so pretty, Sakura-chan."
Sakura turned red at the sudden compliment as a faint gasp can be heard from him. Tsubaki watched, endeared as the younger sputtered out in confusion and embarrassment.
Sakura clicked his tongue, gently squeezing Tsubaki's hand as he continued on painting her nails.
"Shut up. Y... You're prettier you know. You smell nice too, like flowers."
"Oh! Really?" Tsubaki felt heat creep into her face, heart thumping loudly.
"Yeah.. I- I like it best when you wear that rose perfume of yours. It fits you... The smell of roses, I mean."
Tsubaki widened her eyes at the explanation. Chuckling softly, the long haired pressed a kiss on the boy's cheek and enjoyed the reaction she got.

"Oya? You seem to wear that perfume of yours more often now!" Umemiya commented as he smelled the lovely rose scent.
Tsubaki only grinned in response, cheeks flushed red.
"Well, someone precious said that it fits me more."
Umemiya only chuckled at the response, an all-knowing smile on his lips.
2. Kaji
"Oi"
Kaji turned around and saw the 1st year standing before him with a flushed expression.
"Ha? What do you want?" The blonde grumbled, taking out the lollipop from his mouth.
"Just- Come with me okay?" Sakura stuttered out, face strangely embarrassed.
"And why the hell would I follow you?" Kaji snarked although curious as to what the other plans to do.
Sakura bit his lip and stared determinedly at the older. He gently tugged at Kaji's sleeve and scowled softly.
"'Cause I have something to show you. So... P-please come with me."
Kaji stared at the strangely meek teen. Seeing the slight cute pout and hearing the younger plead softly, the blonde caved in although albeit begrudgingly.
"... Fine."
Sakura perked up, eyes shinning as he stared expectantly at the flustered blonde. Imaginary puppy ears perked up.
"Really?"
"Yes, really. S-stop looking at me like that, damn it!" Kaji sputtered, heartbeat speeding up at the annoyingly adorable sight.

Surprisingly, Sakura led him into an unused classroom with a great view of the town. The afternoon sun casting a bright light into the room, creating a natural lighting. Sakura grabbed the guitar placed on the corner and sat down on one of the chairs near the window. Kaji followed and sat on the chair besides the other. Placing the instrument on his lap, the bicolored teen looked at the 2nd year seemingly for reassurance.
Surprised and curious that the younger knows how to play guitar, Kaji huffed, looking expectantly at the other. Seeing the expecting blonde, Sakura exhaled and let his fingers dance along the strings.

"Well... How is it?" Sakura asked shyly, fidgeting under the intense stare as he awaited the older's comments.
"Why?" Kaji asked, albeit breathless.
"Huh? Why what?" The bicolored teen titled his head in confusion.
"Why did you choose to play that song?" Kaji clenched his fists, eyes searching for answers anxiously.
"That's the song you like right? I sorta happened to hear you hum it often and I.. I was curious. So I searched it and learned the song... f-for you."
Kaji widened his eyes at the explanation, breath hitching as he surveyed the lovely red blooming along the younger's face.
"S-So? Was it okay?" Sakura stuttered out, fingers fidgeting anxiously on the strings of the guitar.
Kaji stared at the flustered younger. Huffing out a laugh, he leaned back at his seat as he flashed a small rare smile at the 1st year. He fondly looked at the mismatched orbs looking at him.
"Play it again. I want to hear it again."
And the duo spent the rest of their time inside that dusty classroom, the blonde listening attentively at the bicolored teen's melodic voice as he watched the younger work wonders on the instrument.
If the others were wondering as to why the 2nd year grade captain was more pliant and uncharacteristically doting to the younger, then all Kaji would have to do is flash them a smug smirk as he loomed behind the oblivious teen.
3. Kiryuu
The duo were together patrolling along the streets of Makochi. Sakura clicked his tongue, annoyed for some reason as he continously glared at the ones staring at them- well, more like him.
"My, my, what's wrong with you today Sakura-chan?" Kiryuu asked, sweat-dropping at his grumpy leader.
Sakura glanced at him before clicking his tongue again. Unknown to the pink haired, the stares directed at them were mostly focused on him. Now Sakura might be dumb at times but he isn't at all that oblivious, especially when it involves unwanted attention.
Glancing back again at the relaxed teen besides him, Sakura observed his style for today. Although nothing much has changed, what was notable is that the pink haired didn't wore his black clips. To put it more simply, the slightly shorter teen looks more soft, more feminine than usual. Now Sakura doesn't have a problem with it, he admits that the other looks prettier than usual. However what he does have a problem with is the dirty looks some bastards keep sending to Kiryuu.
Without a word, Sakura gently grabbed the white tote bag that Kiryuu's wearing and slung it on his right shoulder.
"Oh-!" Kiryuu exclaimed, surprised at gesture.
Maneuvering his self, the bicolored teen now walked on Kiryuu's right which effectively blocked the pink haired from sight. Sticking closer than usual, Sakura casted a warning glare at the creeps before continuing on their way.
Dazed from the boy's actions, Kiryuu smiled so softly at the taller. Suddenly, the bicolored male looked more handsome and attractive. It's like he's on a date with Sakura and he's being protective to him. Blushing at the thought, Kiryuu giggled and delightedly hooked his arm around the latter's. Sakura tensed before relaxing at the sudden touch.
"Thanks a lot, Sakura-chan! I appreciate it!"
Sakura glanced briefly at the beaming smaller and huffed, cheeks tinting red.
"Whatever. I just don't like them looking at you like that when you're so pretty today."
Unaware of the affect of his words to the pink haired, he remained oblivious at the smitten look he received from the other. Kiryuu bit his bottom lip to stop his smile from growing too much. Heart thumping, Kiryuu gripped his hand tighter on the taller's bicep and stepped even closer to the teen, cheering eternally at the fact that Sakura didn't mind his actions.
Feeling giddy, Kiryuu couldn't help the want to tease the bicolored teen and get an adorable reaction from him.
"My~ You're making me feel so special today!"
"S-SHUT UP!"
"Hehe. My handsome boyfriend!"
"B-BOYFRIEND- WHA- HUH??? WHAT!?"
"Just kidding!~ Ignore what I've said!"
"Tch, dumbass."
"How mean, Sakura-chan!"
"Shut up or else I'm leaving you."
"Hai~"
That day, Sakura ended up escorting Kiryuu all the way to the pink haired's house which delighted the other.
(Kiryuu sent a picture of them to their group chat walking home with Sakura facing the road and carrying his tote bag and him throwing a peace sign. For extra fun, he added a caption that said, 'My handsome boyfriend is escorting me home! How cute is our Sakura-chan! <3'. Unsurprisingly, he was quickly bombarded with texts dripping with envy and anger. Kiryuu shivered, reading a particular vice leader's scary texts.)
4. Suo
Suo sat on his seat, staring at the Cherry Blossom trees gently dancing along the cold breeze. It's pretty, seeing the lovely color of pink petals swaying and fluttering like little butterflies. It always reminded him of him.
Dazed by the sight, he slightly flinched as he felt a warm hand hold his. Ah. He was clenching down too hard again.
Staring at the pale and long fingers clasped around his fist, Suo suddenly felt the suppressed exhaustion seeping in his bones. He then felt that hand gently unraveling his tightened fist, pale fingers slotting perfectly into his like puzzle pieces. The warm palm of the other sticks close to his, feeling a grounding squeeze on his hand.
Raising his eyes to look at the mismatched ones, Suo felt his self completely relax. Seeing that midnight and golden orbs staring at him so intensely but so softly, concerned but held a gentle reassurance, Suo smiled earnestly at the sight.
Leaning his self to the warmth, the red haired slotted his head on the juncture of his leader's neck. Breathing in the familiar sweet scent of flowers, Suo nuzzled his face softly on the shoulder of the smaller.
Feeling fingers delicately tuck in the strands of his hair on the back of his ear and a soft pad of a thumb brushing lightly along the small bag of his eye, Suo melted.
"You won't ask?" The red haired whispered, a rare hint of vulnerability tinting his voice.
"No. I won't." Sakura responded, voice softer than usual.
"Do you already know?" Suo quietly asked.
Sakura huffed a laugh, letting his head lean back on the one resting on his shoulder. "Yeah."
"How?" Suo questioned.
"I pay attention." Sakura said as he delivered another assuring squeeze to the hand in his.
"Really?" Suo felt his breath hitch, warmth swarming in his stomach.
"Yeah. I pay attention when it comes to you."
Hearing the simple but firm words utter softly from those lips of his gently like a gentle caress of reassurance, Suo felt his heart ache. Ache, ache, ache, for him. He felt his heart throb for the person who held his heart unknowingly, treating it carefully like its made of glass. Felt his heart joyfully beat on those caring hands holding his fragile heart.
"Suo." Sakura called.
"Yes?" Suo responded immediately.
"I'm here."
"I know." Suo hummed, love consuming him.
A few beats of silence passed. Suo titled his head to meet the unique pair of eyes staring down at him.
"Are you here for me too?" Sakura asked quietly like an uncertain child.
"Of course. Always. Always for you."
"I see."
Sakura smiled and Suo is there to bask in that enchanting sight.
'My darling, my dear, I'll be here for you always like you have always been for me.' Suo thought as he pressed his self further into the warmth of his leader.
