It’s late at night, around 6 pm. Iida was finishing up an essay, when a tap at the window made him look up. Bakugou was at the window, balancing on a branch. Iida rolled his eyes, smiling as he got up and unlocked the window, pulling Bakugou in. “Katsuki, we have a door!” Iida said. Bakugou rolled his eyes, pulling up a chair at Iida’s desk, setting down the bag he had in his hands. “Going through the window is better. Anyways, I had questions about the Heroics essay due tomorrow, so sue me.” Bakugou simply had on a white tank top, black basketball shorts (with orange accents) and white socks, while Iida had on a dark blue t-shirt and plaid blue pajama pants. Iida simply stood in the middle of the room, watching as Bakugou sorted through the items.
“Ok, so, I have the shitty essay,” Bakugou put the essay on his desk, “and you know how you review by color-coding, and you have your own system?” As Iida nodded with a confused look on his face, Bakugou pulled out a pack of highlighters, “I got these for you, I saw them and thought they were cool,”
And Iida thought they looked pretty high tech. Obviously, they weren’t, they were generic highlighters, but they had more of a pen design, having a small, rectangular button on the side to click each highlighter, with white accents along the marker, coming in a 12 pack of colors. As Iida was thanking Bakugou, something caught his eye. At the top of each highlighter, there was a small, circular eraser. “Wait, wait, wait. Why are there erasers on them?” Bakugou stopped in his tracks, raising an eyebrow. “They’re obviously erasable, dumb-”
“ They’re what ?!”
Bakugou widened his eyes, “Shut the fuck up!” Iida quieted down, “Sorry, but they’re erasable?! Nobody told me these existed!” Iida looked down at the packaging with stars in his eyes, bouncing on his heels like an excited puppy. If this were anyone else, Bakugou would’ve just snatched them back right then and there. Though, this was Iida, and in all honesty, Bakugou thought it was.. cute. Tenya’s eyes sparkled, his smile was practically contagious as Bakugou’s lips almost perked up into one, and all this over a 5 dollar pack of highlighters.. call him lovesick, but holy fuck, he l- And Bakugou stopped at that thought.
“You didn’t know erasable highlighters existed?” Bakugou asked, almost hesitant to ruin the moment. Iida shook his head, “Nope!”
After a bit more of Iida watching the highlighters with fascination as if it was about to do some crazy trick, Iida jumped from his seat pulling Bakugou into a hug, “Thank you so much Katsuki!” Bakugou flustered for a moment before pulling himself together, pushing Iida away from him, landing into the chair. “Whatever, four-eyes. Now, about the essay..”
The next day at school, if you saw Bakugou smiling at Iida using the yellow highlighter to erase a mistake with a smile in class using the same exact highlighters he'd gotten for him the day before... no you didn't ;)
