There's new rules on Qing Jing Peak.
Ever since the peak lord accepted new deciples it became increasingly obvious which one he favored most. Certainly not more than Luo Binghe, no one thinks that. Anyone who suggested such a thing would have a bad day.
No.
This disciple was claimed as Shen Qingqiu’s little one, his kitten: Shen Jiu. The peak lords know of this. Yue Qingyuan knows very much of this. There's a secret about Shen Jiu's origins the disciples aren't sure of, but the peak lords all know. Luo Binghe knows as well. However, as far as the disciples are aware, Shen Jiu is the child of Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe.
And Shen Jiu is not to be touched.
Do not bully Shen Jiu.
Do not make Shen Jiu cry.
Do not attack Shen Jiu on raids.
Do not even suggest harming Shen Jiu.
One way or another, Shen Qingqiu will find out and have you punished.
The rules apply to everyone, but they especially apply to Bai Zhan Peak. Shen Qingqiu had Liu Qingge announce these rules to the disciples as quick as possible, including the threat of punishment. Punishment that Liu Qingge usually gave out himself. Unfortunately, it's only natural one would either miss out on the announcement or see it has ridiculous. Terribly unfortunate that they'd break a rule during a time Liu Qingge isn't on the mountain.
Unfortunate Disciple hovers over a spitting, hissing Shen Jiu, his hands pinning Shen Jiu's wrist to the ground. Shen Jiu's hair is unruly, his eyes sharp despite one not opening fully. There's blood trickling out of his nose. There's silence around the two of them whereas there once was the sounds of an active raid. Unfortunate Disciple does not take instant notice, smug as he smirks mockingly at the hissing Shen Jiu.
The silence is only broken by a shocked whisper, "He got Shen-shidi..!"
It's as if that single sentence had been enough of an alert. Enough for the other Bai Zhan disciples to retreat, leaving behind Unfortunate Disciple.
Shen Jiu hisses again. "You are so incredibly stupid."
"Says the one-"
"Why is my disciple bleeding?"
Unfortunate Disciple looks up to find Shen Qingqiu standing three feet away. His figure blocks out the sun, casting a shadow over the two boys. Feline ears drawn back and tail flicking in anger. "Surely you know the rules, yet he's bleeding with you hovering over him."
Unfortunate Disciple releases Shen Jiu's wrists, slow to push his off the ground. He leaves Shen Jiu to roll to his knees and stand himself up. The Bai Zhan disciple states plainly, "He was caught in the raid."
"Mm. Little One, go find Binghe."
Shen Qingqiu does not look away from Unfortunate Disciple as he speaks. He'll take care of his kitten after he handles things, certainly.
Shen Jiu nods, giving a glare to the Bai Zhan disciple as he walks away from the two. Opposite of the bamboo house.
Shen Qingqiu turns, voice sharp, "Come." walking the direction to the bamboo house.
Unfortunate Disciple follows behind. If he gets a wack for attacking a weak member of Qing Jing then so be it.

Liu Qingge returns to the mountain a week later. Shen Qingqiu would be upset at him staying out longer. Would get worried his shidi was in danger or not returning, so it comes to no surprise when the man is running at Liu Qingge the moment he lands in front of the bamboo house.
"Shiiiiidiii!!!"
Shen Qingqiu throws himself in Liu Qingge's arms, his purrs loud and vibrating, his tail quivering in excitment.
"I missed you. You're just in time, our husband made lunch."
Liu Qingge pats his shixiong's head -- his husband's head. He did arrive to stay at Qing Jing again, however, he made a stop on his own peak beforehand.
"Shen Qingqiu. Where is Hao Ming?"
Shen Qingqiu nuzzles Liu Qingge's cheek in an attempt to scent the man while they're away from everything else that could help more. "Who?"
"One of the disciples. He went missing after a raid."
"Mmm." Shen Qingqiu hums gleefully, "I took care of him. Shidi really should re-educate his disciples on the rules."
That seems to be the only explanation his husband will give, already set on disloging himself and tugging Liu Qingge inside the bamboo house. Liu Qingge should do so as well. He should ask Mu Qingfang for a higher dose of Shen Qingqiu’s medicine to calm his husband down more. He should also report on Hao Ming's whereabouts. Right now, however, he's stuck on Qing Jing with his two demon husbands and their kitten.
