Darkness. Just darkness and void with a small table and chairs. 5 chairs. 5 winners. A new one created every season when a new player wins. The chairs all reflecting the player owning it.
Grian, chaotic but the leader being the first winner of the life series and also being a watcher. He owns the chair at the end of the table, less like a chair and more of a small thrown where he can kick his legs up and relax. Not that you can relax much being in a death game.
Scott, calm, humble and gay. An arm chair with teal accents and flowers around him in remembrance of his beloved husband from the first game who also happened to be cursed but third life? Why is Scott's chair third life themed? It wasn't before double life, it had changed after he and Pearl tried to part ways and represented the only season where he kind of obeyed by the watcher's rules
Pearl, calm and chill at times but don't get on her bad side or she'll be chaotic and reckless. Her chair is big enough for two, supposedly it was made for her and Scott for winning double life together but since he already won a previous game, he has his own chair. It's separated in 2 halves, one red signifying Pearl 'being a red' all season because of her broken heart. The other completely plain and bare except of the fact it has a bucket of snow dumped onto it but unlike actual snow, it didn't melt. Physics work differently in this dimension.
Martyn, now calmed after his killing spree/betrayal in limited life. His chair had a clock but it never changed. It was always 00:00. His chair, although simple, signified his fish life. Just a simple chair that's like the ones people use when fishing with dead coral also surrounding it.
Scar... Scar finally won. His chair formed when Pearl died. It's a simple stool. Nothing too fancy but it was one of those that spun around. He was almost like a child at times. He had a mum in the games. So did he have a brother and absent dad. But he wasn't never first. He was never chosen. So now that he finally came first in something, even if it was a death game, he was happy with what he had. He needed nothing more, nothing less.

Scar continues pressing the button

But the same answer appears each time.
Grian - "When is Scar going to get here?"
He taps his foot on the non existent ground
"I think I might need to do what I did to Scott in last life."
Saying that, Grian hesitantly starts using his admin powers and kills Scar while he's on the button. He didn't want to kill Scar again... but he had to or it'll take years for the next season.
Scar - "What? Where am I? Did I win?"
Grian - "Hello Scar. You're finally here. Now we can get started with our meeting."
Pearl - "Shouldn't we explain to him what this is?"
Grian - "He'll figure it out."
Was he too cold? Grian felt bad but he had to push Scar away. He had no choice. Despite Grian letting Scar figure it out, Martyn (who was sitting next to Scar) explained the main idea of what was going on.
Martyn - "Basically all the winners gather here... wherever here even is, and we get to know sneek peaks of the next game and because we have a lot of time here, we also bet on who's gonna win each game."
Pearl - "No one won last round since you won."
Scar - "Who was voted?"
Pearl - "I voted Cleo. Grian voted Jimmy as a joke... but obviously he wouldn't so he tried voting for himself again but we don't really allow any of us to vote for ourselves so he just voted for Joel. Then Scott voted Gem, who I wanted to vote to but we can't vote the same person and Martyn voted for me. In all fairness, he was close since I came second to you that game."
Martyn - "So... technically, I won cause I was the closest."
Scott - "Just because you were closest, doesn't mean you won. You didn't guess who came first, Martyn."
Martyn - "Yeah, but I was the closest. I'm still shocked tho. I'm surprised Scar won. Not in an offensive way but Scott has that curse or something."
Scott - "Yeah. The reason you won."
Grian - "Yeah... that was weird though."
Pearl - "I swore Gem or impulse would have won after you guys created 'Gem and the Scotts'"
Scott - "I teamed with Gem to try and get her to win but I guess it didn't work"
Martyn - "Speaking of curses, what about Jimmy's. He didn't come last either."
Grian - "That was a malfunction. The watchers thought that Tim died because of the fake funeral. Which therefore meant that Tim's curse was not applied to Secret Life, therefore making Scott's curse, also not apply."
Scott - "So we're both still cursed?"
Grian - "Yeah"
Scar - "So wait... let me get this straight... Something about curses and blah, blah, blah and we're all winners?"
Grian - "Pretty much, I guess."
Pearl - "Let's get to the good part, shall we? Who we thinking for the next season? I dibs Gem cause Scott chose her last time."
Scott - "Hmmm... Gem was quite a strong choice but maybe I'll go with Pearl."
Pearl - "Me? Really? Gee thanks Scott."
Scott - "We may have not been on the best terms in Double Life and Limited Life but we made up in Secret Life and honestly you're a pretty strong player."
Pearl - "Awwwww. I love you, Scott. Platonically, that is."
Scott - "Love you too, Pearl."
Pearl - "Sorry I didn't say it back for your secret task."
Scott - "Don't worry about it. It's not like I failed that task. I just had to find other people."
Martyn whispers over the table to Grian looking a bit confused at the sudden friendship between Scott and Pearl.
Martyn - "Since when did those two get all buddy-buddy?"
Grian - "I guess sometime during Secret Life?"
Martyn - "Well, of course. But like... when? When I was here last, they were going at each other like 24/7."
Grian - "You're lucky you didn't see what they were like immediately after Double Life. When you joined, they had already cooled down."
Martyn - "What the hell dude. Then how did they become... this?"
Grian - "Dunno."
Scar - "Ummmm... hello? Guys? So... do we all need to guess who we're voting to win next game?"
Grian - "Right, of course. Oh, by the way, Bdubs, Etho, Lizzie, Mumbo and Tango aren't gonna be in this next one."
Martyn - "I'm just gonna guess Cleo. You know why? Cause I'm the only person here without my soulmate from Double Life. Before it was just 1 couple + me and Grian but now that Scar's here, Grian now has his soulmate and I don't. So I want Cleo to win.
Scott - "Oh you're right. Scar and Grian were soulmates in Double Life and Pearl and I were. Would it really be best if Cleo was here though? Remember last time the four of us were in the same place?"
Pearl - "True, Scott and Cleo both left us for each other."
Martyn - "You both get along now though? I don't see the problem."
Grian - "You guys are also soulmates. You were chosen for a reason. You may not have gotten along the best in Double Life but you guys are together for a reason, whether it's romantic or platonic."
Martyn - "Says the guys who's been cold to their soulmate this whole time."
Grian - "I haven't been cold. Have I, Scar?"
Despite the sound of genuine concern, Grian knows that he's been cold to Scar. He's painfully aware and it hurts him. Everything about being with Scar, hurts him in a way that he's never been hurt before. Pizza. The desert. The Jellie pandas. The fact he's always pushed Scar away. The fact he hurt him. The fact they're both meant for each other but yet can't even grow close to each other like they once did.
Scar - "I mean... maybe a bit? I dunno. You're the organiser of all of this so you have a lot on your plate. You don't need to worry about me."
The way Scar's words are so genuine. The way he wants to but doesn't need anyone. The way he's alone and Grian can't reach out to him.
Grian - "See, I'm not cold."
Martyn - "Sure you aren't. You both still haven't chosen who you think will win."
Grian - "Timmy."
Grian says it in a completely serious tone. Jimmy? He's cursed to lose every series. Why does Grian have complete confidence that he'll win.
Martyn - "You're not joking?"
Pearl - "You know that he never wins. Why Jimmy?"
Grian - "It's because of the next 'season' and what it's about. Scar, pick and I'll explain."
Scar - "Ummm... You?"
Grian - "Ok, now to explain the mechanic for the next season and why I decided to pick Tim. The next 'season' is a April Fools special. It'll only be one session which will be on April Fools Day. The mechanics will be the same as Third Life, however, there will be one big addition."
Grian start laughing like crazy before the others look at each other scared on what Grian has come up with this time.
Grian - "It is based off how motion sick you get. Therefore, the more motion sick you get, the harder time it will be for you. I didn't want to use an actual idea for just an April Fools day so I though what better than to make it something stupid. This also gives Tim a more likely chance of winning cause it's April Fools and it'll basically be a joke if he wins and he used to be a sport coach or something and I think he'll tolerate the nausea and other things a bit more than someone like Joel or something."
Pearl - "Ohhhhh. That makes way more sense."
Scott - "Does that mean my curse doesn't apply as well since it's April Fools?"
Grian - "Well, yeah but honestly, you could probably mistakenly team up with the winner so your curse is a bit more iffy."
Martyn - "This will definitely be interesting."
Grian - "Yeah, it definitely will."
