Takaaki awoke to the sunrise peaking through the blinds. He looked over at the clock and sighed. He looked down at his sleeping husband who laid his head on his chest, hand going through his chest hair. Takaaki chuckled softly, "Darling, mind getting up?" He asked, running a hand through Taichi's brown-blond hair.
Taichi opened his eyes, squinting, "Aki? Mm...what time is it?" He asked as he rubbed an eye. "It's 7:30."
Taichi nodded and then laid his head back down onto Takaaki's chest. "Too early. Go back to sleep." He whispered tiredly. "I have to make breakfast." Takaaki tried to move Taichi off but he didn't budge. "No, it's too early. The kids aren't even awake. Taka would've knocked on the door already." Taichi yawned, nuzzling his face into Takaaki's hairy chest.
"What if they do wake up? I have to go." Takaaki whispered. "Later. I want to keep sleeping with my husband. It's your day off anyways. Rest now, they can make their own breakfast." Taichi said, not moving at all. He got more cozier. He lazily wrapped a leg around Takaaki and kissed his husband.
Takaaki sighed and kissed back. "Okay, another hour." He murmured.
"Two more." Taichi tried to bargain.
"Hmm...I don't think I can do that." Takaaki said. "Try to. I want to stay like this longer." Taichi yawned again as he felt himself get sleepy again. He could hear how much faster Takaaki's heartbeat went. It was soothing to listen to. "Okay." Takaaki agreed.
Taichi smiled and continued to lay his head on Takaaki's chest, running his hand through the hair that grew on it. He proceeded to fall asleep again as Takaaki looked up at the ceiling. Feeling himself get tired as well. He hoped to always be like this in the morning. So close together.
It'd be nice. Takaaki thought as he drifted off back to sleep.
