Chapter Text
Rain pelted the hood of Fals cloak as it walked into the forest. Why was it even in the forest? It just felt like going in for a little, and it didn’t know why. It froze as a tiny noise rang out through the air. It followed the noise, which got gradually louder.
It stopped dead in its tracks as he saw a body leant against the base of a tree. Fal stepped closer, hand poised above its sword. The body belonged to a woman with long brunette hair who resembled a bee hybrid. Something shifted under the cloak the woman wore, the feathered tip of a tail slipping out. “Hello?” The cloak shifted again and a pair of bright blue eyes peeked out.
“Hey, I’m not gonna hurt you, you can come out” The cloak shifted once more and a small girl was now standing next to what appeared to be her mothers body. She clutched a dark green book to her chest, her entire body shaking. “Whats your name?” Fal knelt down to be a little less intimidating.
“S-Sunny” “Why are you out here alone Sunny?” She sniffled, “Mum said we needed to go somewhere safe” Fal blinked, “Safe from what?” Her piercing blue eyes met Fals. “The Void” “Wha-” She suddenly collapsed, and only then did Fal realise how weak she looked. It walked over and scooped Sunny up, along with her book, and began walking back towards the kingdom he ruled over.
He knew the others would already be waiting, probably wondering where it went. Fal made it to the castle with no trouble, and only a few looks from guards. Its co-rulers were waiting in the meeting room. Edens eyes lit up as it walked in.
“Fal! Oh my gods where have you- why do you have a child?” Sunny was almost completely still, though their chest still rose and fell like normal. “I’ll explain in a moment” It passed Sunny off to some guards to send down to the infirmary, Sunstar following. The fish hybrid was a new addition as well, and was obviously curious. Fal shifted its cloak off his shoulders and draped it over his chair before sitting down.
The others sat down and looked at him, the young rulers waiting for an answer. “I found her in the forest with the body of who I assume is her mother,” Fal placed the book Sunny had held on the table, “This is the only other thing I really have” It began reading through the book, eyes widening at what it saw.
Dear whoever receives this book, You must’ve found my daughter, please take care of her. This book will detail everything you need to know about her and what she is. Because to put it simply, she’s not just any old bee hybrid…
Fal looked up, “I think we may wanna keep her around” It smirked, “We have one of them now”
