Work Text:

“Sana- baby…we’re in public,” Jihyo said, trying to remove Sana’s grabby hands which were around her waist. The couple had decided to visit an amusement park on one of the public holidays they had, wanting to spend more time together (as if they weren’t already glued to one another 24/7). However, they had neglected to consider that the amusement park lines would be outrageously long, which should have been expected, given that it was a public holiday. They had been in the line for about ten minutes now, with Sana actively trying to cling onto her girlfriend like a koala.

“So? It’s not like people care…” Sana retorted back, arms refusing to leave Jihyo’s body.

Jihyo sighed, as if she hated it, but in reality, she truly did enjoy how touchy Sana was. It made her heart fill with warmth the only way Sana could, and even after a good two years into their relationship, Jihyo was still as in love with Sana as she had been from day one.

“Can't catch me!” A voice came from behind, pushing through the couple. It was a young boy, followed by his friend, running through the queue like nobody's business. As the second boy passed Sana and Jihyo, he accidentally knocked Sana to the side, given how fast he was running.

“Ah…” Sana said, even as she stumbled to the side a bit. Now, the hit hadn't been hard, not even hard enough for the boy to feel guilty and turn around, but Jihyo knew how clumsy her girlfriend was, and this instance just further proved it.

In the process of attempting to right herself, Sana somehow managed to trip over a small pebble on the ground, promptly knocking her hip against a railing. Luckily, she didn't fall, staying upright but rubbing her hip.

“Ow,” Sana said, a pout forming on her lips as she looked at her girlfriend, opening her arms.

Jihyo knew Sana wasn't injured, or anything, but she had always been a massive softie for her. Looking at Sana's open arms, Jihyo just couldn't say no to her, pulling Sana forward gently and letting Sana fall into her own arms.

Sana sighed in contentment, wrapping her arms around Jihyo's waist tightly.

“Wait, baby. The queue just moved.” Jihyo said, with the intention of dislodging Sana just for a moment to walk forward a little.

Instead of letting go, Sana started to walk backward , trusting Jihyo to stop her before she hit someone.

Jihyo did, standing firm after a few steps, and Sana got the hint.

“See? We don't have to be separate even when walking.” Sana said, sounding all-too-proud of herself.

Jihyo rolled her eyes.

“You're so clingy,” she faux complained, wanting to see Sana's reaction.

Sana huffed, pretending to pull away, with a short “fine.”

Jihyo's arms tightened around Sana, pulling her back. Sana's body felt so right in Jihyo's arms, so warm, and fitting against her own. Like two puzzle pieces.

“No! You called me clingy.” Sana said, turning her back on Jihyo as she strided forward when the queue moved again.

Jihyo smiled to herself fondly, still in awe of the hamster-like woman she was dating.

“I'm sorry, baby. Forgive me?” Jihyo asked, walking forward and back-hugging Sana instead when she didn't answer.

“Hmph.” Sana huffed, but she still grabbed Jihyo’s arms, winding them tighter around herself.

When Sana and Jihyo had first met, Jihyo had heard from their mutual friends that Sana was the most touchy person they had ever known. Jihyo had never been a very touchy person herself and her friends were fully aware of this. Despite this, Jihyo had been willing to try and make friends with Sana, bracing herself to be on the receiving end of hugs and whatever necessary.

To Jihyo’s surprise, after the first few weeks of them getting to know each other, Sana had gradually stopped touching her. Even when they started to hang out one-on-one together, Sana had continued maintaining her distance, physically, with Jihyo, even as they got closer as friends.

Jihyo had been confused, and slightly hurt, because she herself had unfortunately started to enjoy Sana’s little touches. She had started to fall for the other girl already, if she were willing to admit it to herself, because of how bubbly and kind and understanding Sana was, together with the way they matched one another’s vibe perfectly.

When Jihyo had finally gotten the courage to ask Sana about it, that was when Sana had cracked, confessing that she liked Jihyo, and it had enhanced her want to touch Jihyo, especially because her love language was physical touch, obviously. But she had been worried that Jihyo would find her too much, too overbearing, and so she had stopped.

Jihyo had shyly admitted that she liked Sana too, and that she had somehow started to enjoy Sana’s touch. Jihyo could still remember the way Sana’s face had lighted up with a smile so radiant it could challenge the sun (and win). They hadn’t started dating right away; it was more like an experimentation of their feelings. Not friends, not lovers, but somewhere in between.

Sana had started touching Jihyo again, whether it was hugs, kisses on the cheek, hand-holding or just the simple brush of their arms against each other’s. However, it was only when Jihyo had started actively seeking and craving for Sana’s touch, and realising that she wanted to be the first one Sana turned to to love and touch, as she pleased, did Jihyo realise that she had truly fallen for the girl.

It always felt right with Sana, and that was what prompted Jihyo to finally ask Sana to be her girlfriend on one of their impromptu hang-outs. Sana had said yes, of course, leaning over to press a soft kiss to Jihyo’s lips; their first of many.

Jihyo lked to joke that she had birthed a monster; a touch-craved monster. Everyone rolled their eyes whenever Jihyo mentioned it, because Jihyo herself was practically just as down bad, or even worse, with the way she wore a frown every single time Sana had to detach herself from Jihyo to get something, even for just a split moment. Or maybe they rolled their eyes because every single time they hung out as a group, Sana was always draped fully on Jihyo, or vice versa, like they would die if their skins weren’t touching for even a moment.

Two years later, the two were still going strong; Sana was Jihyo’s princess, and Jihyo was Sana’s baby. (Or maybe Sana was Jihyo’s baby and princess, and Jihyo was just Sana’s “baby-girl protector”, not that Jihyo was complaining at all.)

“Baby, remember that time when you were so nervous to ask me to hang out with you that you tripped over your feet and fell into me?” Jihyo asked the woman in her arms teasingly.

Sana turned around then, wrapping her arms around Jihyo’s neck and nuzzling herself into Jihyo’s neck. “Shut up, that was so embarrassing. I could feel your muscles when you caught me, though. it was so hot.” Sana leaned even closer, whispering, “I imagined how they’d look while you’re fucking me, how they’d flex…”

“Oh my God, Sana,” Jihyo said, her neck flushing at Sana’s innuendo. Jihyo should have known better than to try and tease her girlfriend; Sana always ended up flustering her instead.

Sana noticed Jihyo’s rise in temperature, taking a step forward in the queue before giggling and sinking her teeth into the sensitive point of Jihyo’s neck.

Jihyo jerked, holding back a moan as pleasure coursed through her. “Fuck…” she breathed. “Did you just bite me in public, Minatozaki Sana?” Jihyo asked, once recovered somewhat.

Sana giggled again as if she hadn’t just done something unbelievably bold, instead soothing the bite on Jihyo’s neck with her tongue.

“Stop putting your mouth on me in public! You’re so daring, Minatozaki.” Jihyo said, sure that her neck was already purpling with a bruise.

Sana looked all too proud of herself, telling Jihyo, “There are so many people here, and you’re a gorgeous girl. I’m just laying my claim, y’know, baby?”

Jihyo blushed at Sana calling her ‘gorgeous’, just as how she’d been blushing for the past two years already.

“Next!” The operator called, calling the pair onto the ride. Jihyo held Sana’s hand, helping her onto the roller coaster.

“If you’re scared, just hold my hand and scream, okay?” Jihyo told Sana, knowing how easily the other girl got scared sometimes.

Sana nodded, even as the roller coaster began moving.

“WOOOOO!” Jihyo screamed, throwing her hands in the air as the coaster made a full 360 degree loop. She turned to look at her girlfriend, who seemed to be frozen stiff in her seat. Laughing slightly, she squeezed Sana's hand as a form of assurance. Sana turned to look at her girlfriend, a small smile forming on her face, even though her eyes were still wide with fear.

So cute, Jihyo thought.

“Oh my god baby that was so scary… especially when it went in a full loop…” Sana whined after they came down from the roller coaster.

“Shall we go and buy some cotton candy? I know you love your sugar…” JIhyo suggested, already pulling Sana to the long queue where they sold the cotton candy.

Sana’s face brightened; of course her girlfriend knew her that well. She had insisted on going on the roller coaster because she knew Jihyo wanted to. Ever the thrill-seeker, and even though Sana could never understand how Jihyo enjoyed being tossed in the air at precarious speeds, she wanted to at least experience it with her girlfriend. A small way of showing her girlfriend how much she loved and appreciated her. And Jihyo always reciprocated in her own way, whether it was with food and candy or with accompanying Sana on rides that made Jihyo’s face scrunch up in distaste.

“Stay here, princess. I’ll go and queue; just sit here for a while and I’ll bring you the cotton candy, okay?” Jihyo told Sana, leading her to sit down on one of the available benches she saw.

Sana nodded obediently; after all, who was she to deny Jihyo if Jihyo wanted to treat her like her

princess?

.

.

.

Thankfully for Jihyo, the queue for the cotton candy moved pretty fast, and she reached the front of the line within five minutes. She ordered the strawberry-flavoured one, knowing that it was Sana’s favourite. She herself had no special love for cotton candy, but she enjoyed sharing food with Sana, especially since the girl tended to order too much that she could not finish.

Once Jihyo paid, she took the stick of cotton candy, internally wincing at how much sugar had to be packed in there. She would have to bring Sana to the gym with her one of these days.

As Jihyo walked back to the bench she had left Sana at, she had expected the girl to be scrolling at her phone or just watching passers-by (Sana tended to zone out and do that sometimes), but what she saw made her eyes narrow. Initially, there had been an empty seat next to Sana (which had obviously been meant for Jihyo), but in that place, now sat a girl.

Now, it wouldn’t be an issue if the girl were minding her own business, because Jihyo clearly didn’t own the seat. But no. The girl, Jihyo could tell upon drawing closer, was talking to Sana, the expression on her face starstruck. It was nothing new, even if it grated at Jihyo, because she knew that her girlfriend was drop-dead gorgeous. But this girl wasn’t a normal fangirl, no. Most people, whenever they thought Sana was pretty or something, would approach her cautiously, showering her with compliments before leaving dejectedly as she rejected them.

This girl was either persistent, or just really could not take a hint. She sat shoulder-to-shoulder with Sana, her hand resting on Sana’s thigh. Even as Jihyo watched, Sana removed the hand gently, saying something to the girl, but the girl simply pouted, moving even closer to Sana. It was easy to tell, even if Jihyo were just a passer-by, that the girl was flirting with Sana, if the way she twirled her hair was anything to go by.

Jihyo knew her girlfriend would be able to make the girl back off if she had to, it was just that Sana was too kind and welcoming. Heck, she may not even know that the girl was hitting on her. Even if she did, she was probably thinking of ways to let her down gently, which was probably why the girl didn’t seem to be getting the hint.

Jihyo sighed, not angry, but wanting to see how Sana resolved it. It wasn’t every day that Sana had to chase off a suitor by herself, after all, and if Sana eventually got firm with her words…oh, she’d look so hot. So, Jihyo stepped forward, going to stand beside the bench that Sana and the girl were on, the cotton candy still in her hand, purposely acting as if she did not know Sana.

Sana looked up, mildly shocked, but she didn’t call out to Jihyo. Or maybe she had been about to, but the girl interrupted her.

“Sana-ssi. Why not we walk around together, and we can go on the roller coasters too! You look like you would enjoy roller coasters, and you’re too pretty to be left here alone.” The girl said, and Jihyo couldn’t resist but to roll her eyes.

Sana looked up at Jihyo, seemingly confused as to why she wasn’t stepping in. “Uh- I have a girlfriend.” Sana said, moving slightly further away from the girl. That line usually worked in chasing people away, even if they looked slightly skeptical.

Not this time, though.

“Aww, come on. You can do better than her. I’d be a better girlfriend than she could ever be,” The girl whined, and ew. Perhaps Jihyo should show the girl how good of a girlfriend she was to Sana, and prove how no one else could make Sana feel the way she could. Sana was her girl. Should Jihyo step in? She had experience, after all, and she knew how to handle suitors that her very attractive girlfriend had. However, before she could, she felt a tug on her jacket as she was pulled down to Sana’s face level.

Sana hesitated for a fraction of a second before pulling Jihyo in, kissing her long and hard on the lips. Jihyo smirked into the kiss; oh how she loved it when Sana acted possessive in public. Jihyo played along, slipping her tongue into Sana’s mouth. Sana’s gasp was her reward, even as Sana’s soft lips parted even more to kiss her girlfriend more deeply.

After what seemed like forever of tongue-tangling and breathy gasps against one another’s mouths, they broke apart, Jihyo’s eyes hazy. Sana always knew how to kiss her to make her lose her mind, and that talented tongue of hers…

“This is my girlfriend Jihyo. Say hi, baby.” Sana said, her voice a tad more demanding than usual. So attractive.

“Hello.” Jihyo greeted, curtly, because why would she nicely greet someone who tried to steal her girlfriend?

The girl, obviously shocked at the pair’s public display of affection, nodded in greeting, before muttering out a quick apology and scampering off, metaphorical tail between her legs.

Jihyo childishly stuck her tongue out at the girl’s retreating back, huffing before handing Sana the cotton candy.

“Strawberry flavour! You know me best baby.” Sana said, blowing air kisses to Jihyo as she sat beside Sana on the bench.

I’d be a better girlfriend than she could ever be,” Jihyo mimicked, still salty about that jab.

Sana grinned at her girlfriend’s words, knowing she was referencing the girl from earlier. She fed Jihyo some cotton candy, scooting over to Jihyo until there was no more space between their bodies, snuggling into Jihyo.

“You’re so warm, baby. And don’t worry, I know you’re the best and only girlfriend I’ll ever have. I’m sure she got the hint after you practically mauled me with your mouth in public- and no, don’t say I started it,” Sana laughed, watching as Jihyo struggled to fit the cotton candy into her mouth while staying clean.

“She should learn to respect your boundaries. Hmph, I thought it looked obvious enough to people that you’re taken, given our couple rings.” Jihyo paused. Then, “Come on, baby. Finish your cotton candy and let’s go home. I know you’re bored too.”

Sana nodded, completely unsurprised at how well Jihyo knew her. “What are we going to do at home?” Sana asked, managing to sound coherent despite the cotton candy in her mouth.

Jihyo considered it, a smug look on her face.

“Make sure people know that you’re mine the next time we go out in public.”
