After dealing with Bebop and Rocksteady, both Leonardo and Donatello makes their way to the top of an old apartment building.
Where the new crime lord Don Vizioso is keeping the heart of evil.
The last fragment that Tiger Claw and Kavaxas needs to bring The Shredder back to life.
And once their inside the building, they both go take down the men that have been hired by the crime lord to keep himself and the heart of evil safe.
With Donnie choking a guy to death. {but I’m sure he’s fine.}
And then they move to another hallway.
But Leo was still a bit angry at Donnie for trying to kill the mafia boss as a part of revenge instead of getting the last fragment back.
“Remember, Donnie, keep it together. We’re after the heart, not revenge.” He said to his younger brother.
But after telling him, that he knocks out another guy coming from a room and then shuts the door on him.
“In the spirit of multitasking, I’d like to think we have time for both.” Donnie said to Leo.
But not before Leo knocks out another guy who was about to shoot Donnie with a gun.
After that, they proceed to continue on their way to the mafia boss’s room.

Then they burst through the door with their eyes going full white, where they see the Don himself including his two henchmen.
“Not so fast Don Lame-o! Give us the heart and nobody get’s hurt!” Leo yelled.
“Yeah or else we’re gonna go full psycho on your assess!” Donnie also yelled.
“Get them, my henchmans!” Don Vizioso commanded.
And so a fight between the two brothers and the two henchmans goes out with a bang.
While the mafia boss himself is trying to stay out of the battle.
So that he himself doesn’t get hurt and the heart of evil doesn’t get stolen by anybody.
But the battle only lasted for about five minutes until both of his henchmans are defeated by the two Hamato brothers.
Then Donnie grabs the mafia boss out of his flying chair and pins him on the wall.
And then he pulls out his Bo-Staff which has a blade on it.
This was it. This is finally happening.
He’s finally going to kill the guy who kidnapped both him and another mutant named Mondo Gecko, and tried to dissect him like he was a frog.
And now that he is finally getting the chance to do so, his eyes turns from a warm and bright scarlet colour to a blood thirsty red colour.
“This is the end for you, Vizioso.” Donnie angrily said to him.
Then Leo sees what’s going on and tries to get through to Donnie.
“Donnie! Don’t lose sight of who you are!” Leo said to his brother.
But he just ignores him.
And so pins the crime lord further through the wall while pointing the blade at his face.
“This is the end!” Donnie said to him again.
“Why?” Don Vizioso asked while starting to be scared of what’s going on.
“Because we’re taking the heart. And your going to hell, you fat, fucking pig!” The purple banded turtle said as he prepares to stab him.
Realising what was going to happen, Leo throws the henchman he was fighting away.
And begins to run towards the event.
Even though this is technically feeling like he was going to sacrifice himself again.
He doesn’t want his brother to kill someone through anger.
Just like what The Shredder did to their father.
“Donnie!” Leo screamed as he moves in the way of the attack.
And then.
:Stabbed!:

Drip, drip, drip, drip, drip, drip.
Yes, yes.
He was now able to hear the guy who really pissed him off having blood dripping from his body.
The kind of sound he was really hoping to see coming from the crime lord.
But something doesn’t feel right.
As he looks at his reflection on the blade of his Bo-Staff, he regains control of his himself.
His eyes turns back to the warm and bright scarlet colour it was meant to be.
And he sees that his face was covered in blood.
But that’s when he sees it.
Instead of stabbing Don Vizioso.
Donnie instead stabbed Leo in the plastron.
Oh no.
He just stabbed his own brother.
This caused donnie to panic about why Leo was there when he was about to stab the guy.
“Leo? Why did you, moved out of the way?” Donnie asked while being scared for his brother’s life.
Then Leo looked at him and smiled.
“Because, i didn’t want you to end up like The Shredder.” He said to his brother.
But not before he passes out from the pain of being stabbed by a blade.
Donnie was really confused of what Leo just said.
Why would he end up like the arch-nemesis they killed to avenge their father.
But then he sees the crime lord cowering in fear.
“Please! Take the heart of evil, take it! Just don’t kill me!” He said while being really scared and throwing the canister holding the heart of evil to Donnie.
Then he picks it up.
And realises that Leo was right.
Being ticked off about someone isn’t going to help the mission at all.
But while he was distracted at that conclusion, an explosion happens.
And while it did knocked him, the explosion left a little entrance to it.
Which causes both Tiger Claw and Kavaxas to appear in the room.
And then the demon picks up the canister as he and the tiger mutant looks at the two turtles.
“And what of the turtles?” Tiger Claw asked him.
After that, they blow up the room again causing both Donnie and Leo to be sent flying back onto the grounds of the apartment building.

Donnie woke up from the fall and sees both Tiger Claw and the demon fly back to their underground base.
“The heart!” He said while watching what’s going on.
Now with the heart of evil in their place, it would already be too late to stop them from resurrecting The Shredder back from the graves.
But he wasn’t concerned about that, he was concerned about Leo, who was still bleeding from the stabbing.
And he thinks that falling off the building might off made it worse.
Luckily, he was able to find where Leo is and runs towards him.
“Leo! Leonardo, come on, wake up. I’m so sorry for what happened. So please wake up!” The purple banded said while trying to shake his brother to wake him up.
Thankfully he didn’t have to blame himself for getting his brother killed.
As when he touches his neck and uses a now blood stained blade on his nose, Donnie was relieved to see and hear that Leo is still alive and is still breathing.
But he still needs to cover up the stab wound he impacted on him.
And so just like that his medic instincts have been unleashed.
Fortunately, he kept some medical supplies on his belt at all cause, so it was very useful to save his brother from dying.
Firs off, was to stop the bleeding.
It wasn’t very easy as blood kept coming out of Leo’s plastron, but Donnie was able to stitch it up by using a needle and a thread.
Then after that, was to clean the wound.
There was still a bit of blood that have been pooling around his body.
So Donnie was able to grab some wet wipes and cleaned all of the blood off it.
Next was to disinfect it.
He knew how the wound can get infected if it caused by a cut or a knee or arm being skimmed.
And to make sure that Leo also doesn’t get sick from it, he was able to found some spray and uses it to disinfect it.
And last but not least, bandage the wound.
Donnie grabbed some bandages from the wound, tear one up and places one on Leo’s plastron.
Then after that, the purple banded turtle sighed as he lays his brother back down on the ground to get some rest.
But not himself though.
As he walks backwards to the walls of the apartment’s alleyway and begins to hyperventilate.
The thought of stabbing his own brother was starting to rewind over and over again in his mind.
Then he keeps hearing what Leo told him back at the kitchen.
That it was his fault for losing the heart over his dumb quest for revenge.
Oh, if only he could agree with Leo about it, then none of this would’ve happened.
But it did.

Leo woke up a few seconds later and was confused about where he and Donnie are.
Then he sees the bandage on his plastron and realised that Donnie saved him from bleeding out to death.
Speaking of which, where is Donnie?
Then he hears loud breathing coming from the area, and when he looked, he sees that it was coming from his brother.
“Donnie. Oh I’m so glad your’e ok.” Leo said as he happily runs towards where his brother is.
But then he notices that something’s wrong with him.
He was hyperventilating, his right hand was clutching onto the area where his heart is and he was starting to cry too.
That’s when Leo realises why Donnie’s acting like that.
And by the time he did, he felt really bad for him.
As even though killing some guy who made him angry is really bad.
He never thought that Donnie would get traumatised from literally stabbing his own brother in the plastron.
So not saying any words to him, Leo hugs his brother in an attempt to calm him down.
And it did, as Donnie felt the warm embrace of his brother’s hug and proceeds to do the same thing to him.
It helped him stop hyperventilating and have his breathing go back to a normal speed and he wasn’t crying anymore.
Then opens his eyes and sees that leo is awake and is really happy to see that his indeed awake.
“Thank you, Leo. For helping me through the darkness.” Donnie said happily.
“Your welcome. But one question though, why did you act like you were having a panic attack?” Leo asked.
Hearing this causes Donnie to start crying again.
“I’m sorry.” Donnie said tearfully.
“Hey, it’s ok. A lot of people makes mistake before in their lives. Plus I’m still alive since you saved me.” Leo said.
But the purple banded turtle just shook his head.
“You were right. It really was my fault that i lost the heart because of my stupid, fucking quest for revenge. If I’ve just had agreed with you about everything and you weren’t angry with me about it. Then none of this would be happening.” Donnie said to Leo.
Leo looked at his brother continues to cry because of it.
He was glad that the others weren’t here to see this.
As seeing Donnie cry like that hurts a lot.
So he grabbed Donnie’s hand and removed them from his eyes.
“Look at me Donnie. Look at me. All eyes on here.” Leo said to his brother.
“Ok.” The purple banded turtle said while still crying.
“It’s not your fault that the heart is now gone. It’s not your fault you were in a quest for revenge. And it’s not your fault for stabbing me in the plastron. You are a brilliant brother and a good fighter. And I’m glad you snapped out of being in a killing trance once you realised what happened.” Leo said to Donnie.
“But what about the stuff about me almost being like The Shredder?” Donnie asked.
“It’s like what father told us. Once he killed Tang Shen err our mother and kidnapped our sister, Karai err Miwa, he’d already sealed his fate of becoming The Shredder we all know today.” Leo said.
Donnie became quiet after that.
As if he were to kill Don Vizioso, then he would’ve sealed his fate of being a mass killer just like The Shredder.
Then after having that thought in his mind for a few seconds, he looked at leo and smiled.
“Well thankfully, my pure heart will never be corrupted by hatred and thirst for revenge. Even if it’s for a good reason.” Donnie said to his brother.
“I love you, bro.” Leo said as he hugs Donnie again.
“I love you too.” The purple banded said as he also hugs his brother.
It was indeed a really sweet moment between the two brothers.
But they have to stop doing that as they need to regroup with Karai and the others.
Especially since Mikey was hurt by jumping off the train while fighting Tiger Claws.
Despite this though, there’s still a chance they’ll be able to stop Tiger Claw from resurrecting The Shredder back from the dead.
And saving New York City once more.
