I RECOMMEND YOU TO READ THE FOLLOWING EXPLANATION TO UNDERSTAND THIS FIC.
This is to give context to the fic, I'm still working on it, but I'll post this as a premise and explanation.
I hope I can finish the fic soon for you to read it.
I present to you an AU that you needed in your life without knowing you needed it and that came up super randomly from HSR version 2.0 and by a roleplay.
RatioRine + RenHeng.
Or in other words, RatioRine adopts DH since DH is a baby + a future in which RatioRine has a hard time accepting that his son is in a relationship with a Stellaron Hunter.
You're probably confused by how this comes about... Well, for a quick recap, a friend and I were thinking about how to do a role-playing interaction between DH and Aventurine, and I spontaneously thought that maybe after being exiled, DH might have finished on one of the IPC ships. All that ended up in me making a joke that RatioRine should adopt DH, and from there came the idea of “what if the preceptors and the Commission of the Ten Leaders kept DH in the egg until they knew what to do with him, and so when the exile took place he was still a baby, and so an agreement was reached with the IPC to adopt DH, and that’s how RatioRine came up with DH and adopted him on the initiative of Aventurine?” Probably a lot of things here don't make sense, but, we don't care, we are happy with our AU.
Another friend ended up joining us and we have developed more things based on this, the three of us are in love with this AU.
The fact is that, thanks to version 2.1 of the game, we ended up having more ideas, and I wanted to develop a fic with one of them.
