During Lunch
Lucas: Kaito, Where are you?
Kaito: Not interested
A chuckle can be heard as soon as he sent the text. Romeo, who was sitting next to him “So cold Kaito.” He slyly smiled at the blond after seeing his reply to his friend.
Kaito immediately turn the phone away from Romeo, in an attempt to keep him from reading more.
Lucas: Im on my way to the training grounds, I would like it if you joined me.
Kaito: Hell no.
Lucas: Okay, I'll tell the Honor Student that you're unavailable then.
Kaito: Huh?! Honor Student is also coming?
Lucas?
LUCAS?!
“Dumped again are we?” Romeo remarked as he sees the frustration in Kaito’s eyes. “No matter, now that the distraction is gone. Shall we continue?”
Kaito gritted his teeth and started to shuffle the cards again. “Just one more and I can win.” He states, very confidently.
Romeo chuckled, “confident are we?, don’t forget the agreement.” He looked straight to the blond’s eyes “no running this time.”
Kaito gulped down??? “Hah…who in their right mind would run away from you?” You’re slow as hell, no wonder people gets away from you.
“Haha, I wonder who?” Romeo lightly replied. He looked at his cards. Perfect.
“Ha…ha” Kaito sweats. He looked down at his card hoping for a miracle. It’s just a simple blackjack, surely I win…. He looked slowly with a bated breath…A Queen and a…..10! 20!!! almost perfect, There is no way he will have a natural blackjack . I got this in the bag.
Kaito looked up smiling widely. Romeo noticed and smirked “Very confident huh?”
“Bet you can’t beat this, Draw?”
“No, I’d like to keep mine” The raven smiled at him.
“Okay, show the cards”
Kaito flipped his cards excitedly shouted “A queen and a 10, I got 20. I win”
Romeo looked shocked for a second but then, he slowly showed the cards. First card, a king.
Huh? no way? 20???? a tie??? Then Kaito sees him slowly unveiling the second one.
“AN ACE?????? NATURAL BLACKJACK???? WHAT THE FUCK!?!” He flipped out.
“Unfortunately, it seems to be your loss. Don’t forget to come see me after class.” Romeo stood up “Do not make me chase this time. Kaito.” He looked at him levelled, warning clearly indicated by his tone.
“….Got it..” the blond slumped down in utter defeat.
Sinostra House
Kaito stood in front of the dorms. “Am i really gonna do this?” he muttered. Just then, his phone made a sound, indicating a new call. He relunctanly answered.
Romeo: Where are you?
Kaito: In front of your house.
Romeo: Oh?, unexpected but nice surprise. Wait there. Do not move.
Romeo hanged up.
Kaito looked behind him. Its still not too late to run away…right?
His thought was interrupted when- “Kaito-kun, come in” Romeo comes in to fetch him, personally.
He led Kaito through a series of halls, and after a few turns, they arrived at their destination.
“You look like you want to run away” Romeo looked at the blond.
I mean who wouldnt is what he wanted to say but “Of course not” was what came out of his mouth.
Romeo chuckled, “Well then, please” He gestured towards the room, clearly inviting Kaito in.
Kaito doesnt know what he expected but…He surely didnt expect the whole room to be a closet. As he was awestruck, Romeo picked up an outfit, all ready to be worn and handed it over to Kaito. “Here, wear this.”
Still out of it, Kaito absentmindedly took the outfit as Romeo led him to a changing room. Once he got inside, he finally manage to wake out of it and finally realize what’s happening. He started stripping so he can wear the new outfit. ? Where’s the top shirt and bottom? He wondered. He finally took the first piece out and..Huh? why is it long-
He screamed.
“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!”
Romeo heard the commotion, anticipating this exact reaction. “What? is it not to your taste?”
“How do you expect me to wear this?!”
“Hm? with your body of course? How else.” He feigned ignorance. “Or you know, you can always give me that pendant of yours.”
Kaito clenched his fist and slammed it on the door. “How many times must I tell you. That is the only thing I won’t give up?!”
Romeo sighed. “Well then? I don’t know why you’re still fighting against this. Its either this or that. You choose.”
A moment later.
Kaito opened the door. “I..I need help with the….” he mumbled off.
“Hm? what’s that?”
“I said,! I need help with the back.!”
Romeo grinned. “Turn around, ill zip it up for you.”
Romeo gently put both his hands on Kaito’s waist and grasp the end of the fabric, slowly bringing them together.
He then used his right hand to grip the zipper and slowly zipped it up
While all that was happening, Kaito couldnt help but suck his breath in.
“There, done.”
Once everything was done, his face was red, heart beating fast and it feels like he couldnt get enough oxygen.
“Thanks.” the blonde shyly uttered.
Romeo once again led Kaito, but this time, it’s limited within the room. They reached a vanity corner where there’s a vanity full of make up products and a closet full of wigs.
Romeo sat him down in front of the vanity. He started to gather products to put on Kaito’s face. Contrary to the blond’s expectations, he only lightly put product on his face, just evening out the discoloration and bringing colors to his cheeks. He then lightly dabbed a light tint on his lips, making the archer’s lip pop out a little more.
He then got up and chose a hat…? Kaito looked at the hat again and what’s attached to it. “What is that hat?!” He pointed accusedly at Romeo.
“A wig. You’re not expecting to walk around the campus just like that are you? or is that your hobby?, I can’t say I don’t not like it if thats what you prefer.” The sniper teasingly remarked.
“Wha- No?!? why would I like to dress like a girl?!”
“Then wear this. It’s much more natural and I, am going for a casual look.”
Kaito looked scandalized but he just can’t not wear it.
A few moments later and both party are done dressing themselves up.
Kaito was dressed with a dark turquoise one piece collared dress with a brown line plaid pattern, a ribbon tied around his collar, along with his grandmother’s pendant and a simple brown crossbody bag. He was also wearing a medium length honey blonde wig conmected to a hat which covers half his face, along with two gold slim rectangular dangle earrings. To finish the casual look, He is wearing a simple brown ankle high military boots, the one gracious thing Romeo allowed him to wear to maintain his dignity.
Romeo is wearing a simple outfit with a black turtleneck, a patterned suit jacket that matches his own dark ashen blue patterned dress pants, tied with a black belt that has a silver accent accessories. He has a small pin, pinned on the left side of his suit jacket. He is wearing a black dress shoes.
“Now then, shall we get started?” Romeo asked as he extended his arm in a clear invitation manner and smiled towards Kaito.
First part of date: Food
Ren third person POV:
He was just peacefully grinding his game when he heard the door ring, indicating a customer was coming. Seriously, who even comes here to eat?
“Hello, welcome….huh?”
He trailed off. He saw that there was two customer. One was a beautiful man with ashen silver hair and a blonde girl wearing a hat. Oddly, he felt the woman was a little familiar and looked a little masculine but he doesnt care enough to care so whatever.
Realizing that he was just awkwardly staring at the two, he quickly led them to a table and handed the menu. Looking every bit annoyed, he waited until they were ready to order.
“So, what can I get for you guys?” he asked.
The woman said something but he didnt hear “Miss, please speak up, I can’t hear what you’re saying”
He then saw the blonde whisper something to the man, which made the man laugh.
“She’ll have the Poppy Seed Pasta” the man addressed him.
“Okay, and for you?”
“Ill just have water”
The man said and continued to stare at the blonde.
Wow, he’s really in for it huh? Although the woman doesnt seem to notice.
He left to put the orders in and sat behind the counter. Although he said he is not curious, he cant help it if his eyes wanders towards their general direction.
He notices the blonde kept fidgeting and looking around very nervously. She also kept pulling down her hat as if afraid that someone will recognize her while the guy just looks as if he is enjoying everything. After a while the guy ended up being a little fed up with her fidgeting so he took one of the woman’s hand and gently caressed it which made her blush. However the next few words from the man made her free hand clutch her pendant and looked straight to the man. Which oddly made him happy?
Moments passed and their order was ready. Ren took the plate of pasta towards the table. He put down their order and went back to his game. Which he left unattended yet again because the blonde in his peripheral started poking and probing the pasta- which is fair, because of how weird this diner is.
The man in front of her looked annoyed though, which led her to quickly poked his fork into the pasta and put it straight to her mouth. Although what happened next was, hilarious to say the least.
The blonde began to retch and the man looked absolutely disgusted. He quickly stood up and went to her side. He pulled her up and guided her to the washroom, together.
The two of them spent quite some time there, not like he was keeping track of time. When they finally came out, the blonde was a mess and a little but flustered whereas the man was looking proud and mischievous.
As they walked by the counter, the man put down some bills and led the woman out by her hand. However, as they walked, Ren finally noticed a pendant and the woman looking closely like someone he knows. “What the…?” He accidentally said out loud which made the woman look back straight to his face, where he got a full view of the face.
“You..-“ He was interrupted when the woman screamed and then switched her, or should he say hims position with the other man and dragged them out of the diner.
“That was…that dude with the Honor Student. Didn’t know he had that hobby.” He muttered but decided it wasnt worth his attention anymore so he continued his gaming.

Gasp…Hah…ha..That- That was close Kaito thought as he stopped running once they were far enough.
“You-, just dressing me up wasnt enough but why do we have to go around acting like we- we’re on a date?!” He berated Romeo. “He even almost recognized me!” he continued.
“Fuji-kun, what else do you expect? This is not some leisure thing, this is your punishment. pu-nish-ment.” Romeo said as he poked his finger on the blond’s forehead.
Kaito swatted the finger away “Stop that…Anyways we almost got caught. That should be enough right?”
“No, we still have some place to go” Romeo then led Kaito again through the campus.
Kaito ignoring all the stares once again and followed Romeo meekly, lest anyone recognize him.
Second Part of Date: Arcade
Leo’s Third Person POV
Leo was bored so he decided to hit up the arcade for fun, and who does he see? Romeo from Sinostra escorting a beautiful blonde girl. Heh, I should've known that pretty boy from Sinostra would have had a girlfriend. Curious, he decided to slowly walk towards them but stopped.
He recognize that face. He only saw it for a moment but it did cause him a tiny trouble. Wow this is getting more interesting than I thought. Thinking that, he moved somewhere to eavesdrop unknown by its subject.
Not to look so inconspicuous while eavesdropping around, he decided to hang out around Sho's food truck. He sat in a way that he can see what they're doing without being obvious and activated his stigma. Just as he found the best position, the object of his observation suddenly did something really unexpected.
They were...hugging? Atleast from his angle. Having almost no context on what's happening, he focused his senses to hear what they're saying.
"I don't think this position is necessary?!, Id rather have a girl hug me rather than you!" Kaito complained.
"You ask me to help you how to aim better, I'm just showing you exactly how." Romeo smirked. He firmly put his arms around Kaito, with the excuse of teaching him the right form. Once he was satisfied, he slowly pulled his arm away and said, "Okay now, don't aim directly at the target. Adjust it so your aim is a few centimeters up and keep shooting. If you feel that its too short, aim higher, if its too far, aim lower."
"Are you sure that's gonna help?" Kaito complained but he did it nonetheless.
"Heh, wow. That's the first time Ive ever seen someone hit no marks at all." Romeo teased. "But, there's improvement. As long as you keep practicing, you should get better at aiming." He patted the blond and gently stroked it.
Kaito swatted the arm "Stop that!" he frustratingly said but a faint blush still covered his face.
Guuuuuuurgle
Suddenly, a loud sound interrupted their moment.
"Still hungry?" Romeo asked.
"How could I not be hungry?! You took me to the Mystery Diner, even though its famous for its bad dishes and made me order. I tried to order the most normal looking one but it still ended up disgusting that I had to throw it all up and we ended up here!" Kaito complained. "It's a miracle my stomach even waited until now to make a sound of protest that I'm hungry. So we should stop here. You got your fun and I get to go and eat now." He suggested, clearly eager to get out.
"Now, don't be hasty. Just this once, i'll actually treat you." Romeo appeased the archer.
Seeing that the couple was done with the arcade and was walking towards the food truck, Leo slowly deactivated his stigma and shamelessly walked towards Sho.
"Hey Sho, I got to watch an incredible show just now." He informed Sho while laughing. "Oh, god, remember that transfer student who was all "Kaito isnt pathetic, Take back what you just said", I just fucking saw that same pathetic blond dressing as a girl and having a wholeass date with Romeo. I don't know if it was a dare but, I guess, he did look good and not as pathetic. Anyways i'm going now" Leo said as he pulled up his phone, looking at the sneak pictures he got and safely putting it in an album.
Third Part of Date
Sho Third Person POV
Still a little confused on what Leo just dumped on him, two people walked up to his food truck. He looked up and saw a blonde girl and a pretty guy. Oh they must be what Leo's talking about. He looked at the blonde beside the man and recognized him instantly too. Wow, he looks pretty for girl.
The couple took a few moments thinking about what to order and moved towards him. "Can we have the Burger Set A? with extra fries" the man ordered.
"Okay and that would be 15.70 Cash, you guys can wait by the table and ill bring them there." He replied then went in the back to prepare the food.
Minutes went by and the food was ready. He put the order on a tray and walked over to their table.
At first both were eating normally. Kaito?, I think was his name, was eating both the burger and fries, meanwhile the other guy was just eating some fries occasionally. At a glance, it looks like a couple sharing food, but knowing it was actually two dudes makes it seem like they were just hanging out. Although one is dressed as a girl but he didn't mind that.
Until, the guy made a move and wiped the other's mouth with his finger and proceed to put that same finger to his mouth. The blonde was at a loss of word and turned red. He stood up and pointed at the other. "You- you?1?????? What are you doing?!" He accused the him.
"Just cleaning your face. What's wrong with that?" Romeo tilted his head, saying as if he's clueless as to why he is reacting this badly.
"Everything?! That's the kind of thing you do with your girlfriend!" Kaito argued. "Well you're mine girlfriend for today so what's wrong with that?" He counteracted.
"I-" The blond was such at a loss of words that he just walked out.
Meanwhile the handsome man just sat and laugh for a moment before he got up and followed after.
What the hell just happened. Sho questioned as he cleaned up the table.
Last Part of Date - Severance Tree
The Severance Tree, although it's name sounds ominous, it's actually a special date spot in Darkwick Academy. Legend has it that when two lover proclaimed their love for each other, in any way, shape, or form, then their love will bloom and last forever. Right now, two people stood in front of it.
Huff....huff....ha.....Kaito feel like dying. This is like the third time he had to run and its all because of Romeo. Damn it...why did I even gamble in the first place....
"Kaito...it's not nice to run away from your date twice in the same day you know?" Romeo stated as he walks towards him.
"What date? This is just you dragging me around in this stupid get up."
"It may have started as a joke but I am serious Kaito." Romeo looked at him straight in the eyes as he said that.
The sniper then made a step forward so he is literally right in front of Kaito. He put his arm forward and gently held Kaito's hands. He slowly interlocked their fingers and slowly brought it up right in front of his lips.
"I may have used this opportunity to spend time with you, and to you it might look like I'm doing this as a joke, however, I am serious about this." He again, repeated, this time with more seriousness and firmness to tell him.
"Huh....Huh?!" Kaito stupidly replied. "Wha-what do you mean?!"
"Exactly what I said"
"Ah, I know! This is a camera prank right? This is just something you concocted to make me pay on time. It might be a little unique but it did its job in scaring and intimidating me. I promise I will pay on time next time so-" His rambling was cut off.
"Kaito. I am serious." Romeo said. He even let go of the intertwined hands and put it around Kaito's neck gently, to support him and leaned in for a kiss.
Kaito watched as Romeo slowly inched closer to his lips. The distance between their lips slowly lessen and just when it was about to touch-
This is an announcement that it is currently 11pm. Due to Darkwick being a special place that holds anomaly it is recommended that students now return to their respective houses. I repeat, it is now 11pm, we recommend that all students, be it ghouls or regular student, to please return to their respective houses.
Due to the moment being interrupted, Kaito was abruptly shaken awake from the atmosphere. He gained rationality and pulled away from Romeo, blushing madly and ran away.
Romeo looked at Kaito's back retreating. Bringing a finger and gently touched his lips, "Almost," He thought, "but that's fine, there will be more opportunity."
That night, Kaito ran straight to his room, still dressed as a girl. He slammed the door and slowly slumped down blushing madly. We- we almost kissed. Does he actually like me and not as a prank?!. After a moment, he slowly made his way to the bathroom. He looked up and saw himself. So, this is how I looked like. He was about to wash his face when realization hits. What if he only confessed because of how I look as a girl?!...wait no...How and what could he even possibly like about me in the first place. Thinking about it, he finished washing up and changing clothes.
He laid in his bed, still thinking about the events today. But what if its true....
Kaito ended up not sleeping that night.
