Sonia Urbosa Hyrule woke up to her wife’s face looking down at her, smiling. She sighed and got ready for the day. Today was her 20th birthday, and she felt like nothing could ruin it. She should have realized that wasn’t possible.
Sonia went about her day saying hello and getting congratulations on turning 20 from all her friends. As she walked up the road to Impa’s house, she had a feeling something big was about to happen.
“Welcome, Sonia. It’s a big deal, turning 20. For you more than most. Because today, you will travel back into the past exactly 18 years. I’ll see you back here, when your trip is finished.”
Sonia felt a warm glow, then she was standing behind two figures that seemed like the pictures of her parents. She realized that, given what Impa had said, this must be them. She went to call out, but as soon as she did two arrows went straight through her parents’ hearts. She felt a hand over her mouth pull her aside and she saw Impa, asking her who she was, and after explaining everything, she felt a warm glow again.
Sonia rode back to her house and when she saw her wife there, she just fell into the hug, and the explanation of what happened could wait.
