Work Text:

Harry successfully transformed into an Animagus. He stared intently at the cat in the mirror, its sleek black fur looking remarkably soft, and its emerald green eyes shimmering with light. He shifted slightly, and the cat in the mirror followed suit, swaying its fluffy tail as if dancing.

Excited by his accomplishment, Harry decided to take a stroll in the night. His cat eyes widened, capturing every detail in the dimly lit corridors of Hogwarts. Despite the darkness enveloping everything, he felt no fear. Instead, a sense of tranquility and freedom washed over him, sensations not easily attainable during the day. With each step echoing through the empty corridors, he felt anticipation and exhilaration, as if the entire castle was his playground for exploration.

Harry felt a newfound sense of freedom and lightness. He gracefully maneuvered through the corridors, keenly observing his surroundings with his cat eyes. Every slight sound made his ears perk up, and every breeze caused his fur to gently tremble.

Raising his head, he saw the moonlight cascading onto the floor at the end of the corridor, emitting a soft glow. Harry felt immense joy and excitement, deciding to continue his adventure along the corridor.

Under the moonlight, Harry's cat-like steps carried him forward, his tail held high, displaying his delight.

However, a figure appeared in the corridor ahead. It was Tom Riddle! Harry nervously halted his steps, staring at Tom in astonishment. He guessed Tom must be on patrol, so Harry anxiously shrunk into the wall's corner, hoping not to be discovered. As a cat, he delved as deeply into the darkness as possible, relying on his night vision to remain vigilant.

Tom gradually approached, and Harry almost curled himself into a ball of black fur, praying that Tom wouldn't notice him. Each step Tom took seemed to fall heavily on Harry's heart, as he concentrated on gazing towards the end of the corridor, trying to blend into the darkness and avoid Tom's detection.

However, Harry's hopes were dashed. Tom stopped in his tracks, right in front of him.

Harry's eyes widened, and he nervously watched Tom, almost feeling the pounding of his own heart. Tom gently crouched down, as if getting closer to something, and Harry prayed he could slip through unnoticed. But what happened next left him dumbfounded—Tom reached out and stroked his head, as if petting a cute little cat.

Surprised by the gesture, Harry couldn't help but emit a questioning meow, as if a cat expressing discomfort. He saw Tom tighten his lips, a hint of humor flickering in his eyes, seemingly trying hard to suppress a smile.

Feeling puzzled, Harry's tail gently swayed, his eyes wide with curiosity like that of an inquisitive kitten. He noticed Tom's gaze seemed to be drawn to his movements. The next moment, Tom let out a soft sigh, then tenderly caressed Harry's back, as if comforting a distressed kitten.

Harry felt incredibly comfortable, letting out a contented purr, as if his body had fully embraced the instincts of a cat. This new sensation made him even more acutely aware of everything around him, as if he had completely merged into the world of cats.

Harry immersed himself in the comforting touch of Tom, completely forgetting about time and the surroundings. He felt the warmth and care from Tom's gentle palm sliding across his back, each touch bringing a gentle comfort that allowed him to fully relax.

Unbeknownst to him, Harry was lifted by Tom. Emitting a puzzled meow, Harry was gently stroked by Tom, seemingly soothing his unease. Harry felt Tom's warmth and care, gradually easing his vigilance and beginning to enjoy the warm company.

He was carried forward by Tom, through the corridor, into a Slytherin-style room. It was the prefect's single dormitory, where Tom gently placed Harry on the soft bed. Harry found a comfortable position, curling up on the bed, feeling the relaxation and comfort of his body. He could feel the softness of the sheets, and the dim light in the room made everything feel warm and cozy.

Tom picked up his pajamas and walked into the bathroom, preparing to freshen up. Harry quietly waited for Tom to return, but the tiredness and comfort of his body gradually lulled him into sleep. In the quiet room, he slowly drifted into dreamland, the dream gradually becoming blurred, surrounded by sweet sleep.

In his dream, a meadow emerged, bathed in sunlight and gentle breeze. Harry ran freely in his dream, like a free wild cat, frolicking in the grass. Forgetting all worries, he enjoyed the tranquility of this world.

In his dream, he suddenly felt someone gently stroking his ears. Opening his eyes, he saw Tom sitting on the bed, gently caressing him. Harry furrowed his brows slightly, then closed his eyes gently, drifting back into the realm of dreams.

"Goodnight, Harry." Tom whispered softly.
