"Ah."
Things had got pretty romantic between Redson and MK. One thing led to another and now they had a baby boy looking up at them. He had MK's brown hair and Redson's hazel eyes, aswell as tiny red horns and a monkey tail.
"Redson, what are we gonna do!?"
"What do you mean we? If my parents found out I had a biologically impossible child with you they'd kill me!"
"I can't take care of him! I'm the Monkey Kid! I work for just above minimum wage as a delivery boy, and then I've got training with Monkey King, saving the world, making time for friends AND making time for myself! I already stretch myself pretty thin i can't take care of a kid by myself!"
Redson paused, looking at their son as the kid sneezed a little flame before giggling. He seemed to have inherited Redson's fire aswell.
"I have an idea."
"Which is?"
"When I was younger, to help me control my fire, my parents asked various elemental masters of fire to train me. From my understanding, the ability is hereditary, passing down form parent to child. Our son- what should we call him?"
MK thought before saying "Kai."
"Kai is hawaiian for sea, noodle boy."
"I like the name!"
"Fine. Kai seems to have inherited my flame, so leaving him with an elemental master of fire would be less obvious and hid him from demons who would use him against us."
"I don't know..."
"Would you rather we leave him in an orphanage when he could likely get kidnapped by Spider Queen."
"NO! NEVER! But, will we ever see him again?"
"For his sake, no. But we can write letters."
MK picked up Kai and hugged him tightly. He didn't want this moment to end. After a couple minutes he said "fine", and gave Kai to Redson.
"Thank you noodle boy."
Timeskip:
Redson had finally tracked down the current elemental master of fire, a blacksmith named Ray Smith. After a lot of travelling, he finally arrived at his shop. It was dark so he knocked on the door of the house beside the shop. When he did a tall woman in a blue blouse and leggings with long black hair opened the door.
"Can I help you?"
"Does a Ray Smith live here?"
"Yes, I'm his wife. What do you want with my husband."
"I am redson, a few of his ancestors knew me. I need to ask something of him. May I come in."
"Sure. RAY COME DOWN HERE! WE HAVE A GUEST!"
As Redson stepped inside a man with short black hair and moustache wearing a red blouse and black trousers. "What do you want."
"I, Redson of the Demon Bull clan, have ended up with a child i cannot, for his safety, keep."
"Oh you poor things."
"Yes, well, he has inherited my pyrokenisis and so I thought he could pass as your son."
"I'm sorry. You want us to raise your son?"
"Yes Ray. I know my family has asked a lot from yours over the years, but please."
The couple looked at each other before
Ray sighed and said, "Sure. Anything we should know?"
"His name is Kai. I'm going to send letters from me and his other parent over the years, but he shouldn't open them or know we're his parents until he can defend himself from demons. Do I make myself clear."
"Alright. We raise him as our own and make it appear he's the elemental master of fire, not a demon."
"Correct. If that is all, I shall now take my leave."
Redson stood up, handed Kai to Maya and then teleported away in a column of fire, leaving the two elemental masters completely unprepared.
"Uhhh."
