The sun slowly rose as if began to shine its fresh light onto the surface of the city. Hitting the neighboring streets and pop up shops as it soon found its light shinning onto the neighborhoods. Slowly hitting the side of the house as the beam traveled up to the window of Rand and Jamie's bedroom. Piercing through the blinds as, the small beam struck Rand's sleepy eyes. Squinting as he woke up, he huffed ; slowly turning his body away from the window as he wrapped his body around Jamie's small frame. Wrapping his furry arms around her as he dozed back to sleep, feeling Jamie snuggle into the warm feeling of his furry arms as well.
"Hmm, good morning." Jamie mumbled as she still laid in a sleepy manner. Rand let out a low chuckle, releasing a soft breath before he responded. "Morning." He said as his cheeks turned up and rested his head onto Jamie's. They soon heard the door slowly creep open, knowing exactly what was happening already as they went through this every Saturday morning. Hearing the shuffling and whispering followed by little giggles. Jamie grinned as she moved out of Rand's arms and crawled her way to the edge of the bed. Lowering herself to, her head faced the bottom of the bed.
"What are you two up to?" She whispered. Giggling, the two little boys smiled as they saw their mom. "We want to scare daddy!" Mateo whispered and snickered. Marcos nodded along quietly, "yea, is he asleep mama?" Theo asked. Jamie giggled and nodded, "Yep, he's beening a very noisy sleeper this morning." Jamie lied. Rand did his best not to giggle as he too reached over the bed, seeing the boy's feet hanging out he quickly grabbed them by their ankles pulling them right out from underneath the bed. The set of twins let out little screams as Rand now held both of them by their ankles, hanging them up in the air. The two started to giggle as Rand being to playfully tease his two sons. "Haha! You two boys always gotta cause trouble wherever you go, don't ya?" Rand said, still holding them dangling from the floor. The two boys laughed and shouted, "Daddy!" Put us down!" Mateo laughed as he was enjoying how silly his dad was being. "I'm going crazy, Daddy!" Theo said in a serious voice, causing Rand to gently toss the two of them onto the bed.
"Mama save us!" Theo said as he quickly got under the covers and cuddled up to Jamie close. Jamie laughed as she wrapped her arm around Theo and ran her hand through the top of his head through his hair. "Alright, Rand, time to knock it off." She said as she pulled Mateo over to her and gave both her sons a good morning kiss. Rand calmed down as he returned to the bed and chuckled as he looked at his wife lovingly. "You think I can get one of those?" Rand asked as he leaned in closer to Jamie, she chuckled and pressed a kiss onto the place where his mouth would be if he had one. "Eww" "yucky!" The boys complained as their parents showed their affection for one another, gagging at their kiss. Rand just shook his head as he chuckled to himself. Seeing the cute little scene unfold as he spent his morning with his family always made his heart swell.
"Good morning." A sleepy Tibbs yawned as he walked past the door, adjusting his glasses as he saw his grandsons huddled around their mother. "Pop pop!" Mateo said as he wriggled out of Jamie's grasp and rushed to tug at his grandpa's sweatpants. Tibbs giggled as he looked down at him, "now I have a question for you, do you know where Pop pop's hair ties went? I can't seem to find them anywhere." Tibbs asked as his hair dropped over his shoulder. "Oh outside." Theo said as he too slipped away from his mom, walking calmly over to his grandpa and brother. Tibbs raised a suspicious brow as he pushed his glasses up to his face. "And why are they outside?" The boys smiled, "because Pop pop, daddy taught us a game-" Theo said sweetly. Being interrupted by Mateo, "Yea! Daddy taught us a game where we shoot rubber bands at targets outside! Buuuut we didn't have any, so Daddy said we had to use the ones from your room." Mateo explained excitedly.
Tibbs shot Rand a distasteful glare as he stood up. He sighed as he grabbed a hair tie from his wrist, happy he remembers to always keep a back just in case. "You know, Jamie, just because you have kids with someone doesn't mean that it's too late." Tibbs said before continuing his way to the kitchen, following the twins. "Dad! Not today." Jamie scolded, as it was almost everyday she had to shut her father up from making one off insults to Rand. "Jesus Tibbs, do you have to be so rude in this early in the morning?-" A sleepy voice followed behind Tibbs, Jowls yawned as he waved over to Rand and Jamie before he too made his way to the kitchen as well. Jamie turned to her husband, putting on hand on his arm. "Sorry about that, Hun." She said, reaching up to press a kiss to his cheek. The bummed out feeling Rand had quickly faded away at his wife's kiss, humming softly he pulled her by her waist, his cheeks squished up to show his happy state. "Meh, who cares about that when I got you to keep me happy." He said softly as he studied his wife's morning look. Seeing her in his large t-shirt, shorts, and her hair all pulled up in a bun made his heart swell. Jamie rolled her eyes at the corny line, but let Rand move her closer to him. "Rand, you big old softie." Jamie swooned.
Placing a hand on Rand's cheek as the two leaned into one another, giving each other yet another, sweet 'good morning' kiss.
