I was scrolling through YouTube the other day, searching for some new content to watch. I stumbled upon a video that I had never seen before. It had a thumbnail of a cartoon character that was familiar to me, but not immediately recognizable. It looked similar to Bugbo, but something seemed strange about him. I clicked on the video and played it through. Bugbo was walking and talking, but there was something different about his speech.
His words seemed... off. Bugbo was typically calm and collected, but in this video, it sounded almost as if was struggling to speak. His tone was more erratic and less calculated. In fact, the words he was using were out of character for him. He was speaking much more freely and openly, without much thought going into what he really wanted to say. I was confused by this strange behavior of his, but I continued watching anyway.
As the video continued, Bugbo's actions began to become even more bizarre. Instead of sticking to a single path, as he normally would, he was running around and jumping over objects with no rhyme or reason. He was even walking into walls and falling over, which wasn't like him at all. In fact, this was completely out of character for Bugbo. Something was definitely wrong here.
I checked the channel to make sure it was right, and sure enough, it was Bensilly. This was real. I thought to myself, maybe this is some kind of joke..
god was I wrong..
I kept watching the video, and as it went on, Bugbo's behavior became even stranger. He was laughing at random moments for no apparent reason, and even started talking to himself out loud. This creeped me out because Bugbo isn't known for talking to himself. Even worse, I started to notice slight changes in his appearance.
Bugbo has a bright and vibrant color scheme, in this video, however, I noticed that he had become more dull. His colors were not as bright and vibrant, and his flesh was slightly grey. Bugbo also had bags under his eyes, implying that he hadn't been sleeping well. At this point, I was convinced that something was seriously wrong.
I began to worry about Bugbo's mental and physical well-being as I continued watching this strange video. Bugbo didn't seem to be acting like himself at all, and the changes in his appearance were becoming even more drastic as the video went on. It was clear that something bad was happening to Bugbo, but I had no idea what it could be.
As I kept watching, I began to notice even more changes in Bugbo's facial expressions and mannerisms. He no longer had his usual joyful and positive attitude, and instead he appeared to be frustrated and agitated. He would make angry faces at the screen, shake his head, and even yell at times. Bugbo also seemed to be experiencing memory loss, as he would forget minor things that happened moments earlier.
At one point, Bugbo seemed to have an emotional breakdown. He started crying and shaking violently, and it was very unsettling to watch. It was like he couldn't control his emotions anymore. Even the sound of his voice changed. He started speaking in a voice that sounded like it could have belonged to someone else. I was horrified, curious, and completely invested in this video. I had to keep watching to find out what was going on.
The audio and music was completely distorted at this point, however Bugbo's voice began to muffle. The background turned into an image of a room, a real room. One with gore everywhere...
it wasn't just a room.
it was a basement, there was someone in the corner.
Bugbo looked around the room frantically, and then spotted something that made him freeze in fear. It was a human arm sticking out from under a couch, covered in blood. Bugbo backed away slowly, looking terrified and confused. He reached for something in his pocket, and pulled out a phone. He quickly dialed 911 and hid. There were muffled sounds of talking outside the room, and then a loud noise. The noise of police sirens and breaking down the door. As the video ended, the outro played.
I found it odd. The whole thing.
With anxiousness, I messaged Bensilly about the episode on his Twitter. I wasn't really expecting him to reply, but it was worth a shot.
