Chapter Text
N lay on his side, his fans gently whirring as he held on to Uzi. Uzi, having grown up with very little physical affection, was surprised the first time they cuddled, though her shock wasn’t at the actual physical holding, but how much she enjoyed it. She loved being held. She loved the sound of N’s quiet yet constant fans. She loved sharing each others heat under blankets. She loved N.
The short lilac drone shuffled herself closer to the taller drone. She was exhausted, but they both had a bit of a game she was determined to win. This said game all started when Uzi needed her mind taken off of… well, everything, so N suggested they had a little competition of who could fall asleep last. Uzi thought it was childish at first, but it soon became a nightly habit for the both of them. This current round, however, was there most enduring game of it yet, so both of them were pretty damn tired.
“I love you…” N muttered, his voice muffled as he buried his face in the back of Uzi’s purple hair. Some dreary mumbling was heard from her, though incoherent from the couples fatigue. N lightly chuckled at this, before he kissed the back of her neck gently.
Oh, she loved when he did that! Ooh, how was this game fair? How was she not supposed to fall asleep when her amazing boyfriend did such soothing things like that?
Uzi moved her hand from its current position in front of her face, to her waist, on top of N’s hand. She gently massaged her fingertips back and forth over his knuckles. Her digital violet eyelids soon started to droop, but she managed to withstand her urges, barely staying awake.
N grabbed the velvet blanket, pulling it over him and Uzi. He then placed his hand back in place on her waist, lightly pulling her closer. N’s face got buried in Uzi’s fluffy, indigo hair, the soft amber light of his eyes shining through. They both just enjoyed the bliss for a few moments, before N whispered.
“I love you” N quietly repeated, forgetting he had already said it from his dreariness. He received no response other than her hushed fans. He noticed her visor’s purple seemingly dimmer than before, and knew she was asleep. He smiled as he closed his eyes and succumbed to his tiredness, his neon yellow eyes changing to text that read ‘sleep mode’.
