-Warning, Warning, The Base is under attack-
The Plumber Base's security system alerted
"Aw Man, could this base not be attacked for one freaking day?" Said the teenage hero Benjamin Kirby Tennyson as he leaned in to see the footage of the security cameras. "Let's see who it is this time, Vilgax? Malware again? Or...Albedo" Ben angrily said, staring at one of the security cameras, which displayed another teenager, one that looked exactly like Ben, minus the colors of his eyes, hair and clothes, casually walking through the facility, grin on his face.
The day had started out great, Ben had the entire base all for himself as all of the Plumber forces, a group of intergalactic law enforces, were busy helping transport the inmates from this base to another, but with Albedo, once an alien but at the moment stuck as a human in a form that replicated Ben's, things got a lot more complicated.
"Huh, would you look at that, you aren't stuck as 10 year old me! Alright then, let's get this over with Albedo, It's Hero Time!" Ben exclaimed reaching for the watch on his left wrist, the Omnitrix, a device capable of turning its user into different kinds of aliens, which Ben has used to help save the day and stop bad guys like Albedo ever since he was 10.
As Ben pressed the watch, the room was lit by a green light, emitted by the watch itself, and just like that, Ben was replaced by a humanoid alien that resembled a grasshopper
"Crashhopper!" Ben shouted, leaping forwards, bouncing off the walls of the base, gaining more speed after each bounce.
"Get ready Albedo, because you're about to get-Ugh!" Ben was interrupted midair, as he was punched right in the gut, falling to the ground "Ugh, what happe-wait...Eon?!" The teen exclaimed in surprise, as a tall man in purple clothes, wearing a mask stood before him, this man, was Eon, a time-traveler; alternate version of Ben, that wanted to be the only Ben in all of existence, or that's what Ben thought, he was never sure if the Eon he was fighting was the same as last time's.
"Hey Eon, look, you know you are one of my favorite arch nemesis and all of that, but couldn't you have picked a better day to attack me" Crashhopper joked, slowly getting back up, waiting for some kind of come back or snarky comment, but instead, Eon simply stepped forward, charging a purple energy beam in his hands, surprised by the sudden move, Crashhopper jumped to his left bouncing on the wall as Eon fired the purple beam at him, with the hero barely dodging the attack. After bouncing towards the ground again, Crashhopper jumped directly towards Eon, kicking him at full speed, sending him flying across the corridor.
"Crashhopper 1, Eon 0! Haha!" The teen laughed while the villain slowly got back up.
"And Albedo ties the game" A deep, booming voice emerged behind Ben, and before he knew it, he was slapped by a giant hand, sending him flying across the corridor, hitting the wall in the process.
Ben groaned in pain as he was transformed back into his human form, he looked up, shocked to notice Albedo, currently in the Humungousaur form, a giant bipedal dinosaur like alien standing next to Eon.
"Ouch, cheap blow man, so, I'm guessing you two decided to team up, makes sense to be honest, you two have a lot in common, you two are cheap copies of me, you two got betrayed by Vilgax and you two always lose to me!" Ben smirked, scrolling through the Omnitrix's alien selection, trying to find the right alien for the current situation.
"Why you-"
"Remain calm Albedo, remember our plan" Eon interrupted Albedo, who groaned in annoyance but complied anyway.
"Oh what's wrong Albedo? Do you have a Bullfrag in your throat?" Ben quipped as he transformed into a tall and muscular frog looking alien.
Albedo roared with anger, running past Eon, he jumped and hit the ground with all of his might, the punch was so powerful that it created an enormous shock wave that reached the other end of the corridor very quickly, the strike almost hitting Ben had he not used his frog-like alien abilities to jump over the shock wave.
"Nice move, now my turn" Bullfrag said charging towards the two villains.
Using his elongated tongue, Bullfrag grabbed onto Albedo's arm, leabing forwards, using his own tongue as a grappling hook, but before he could land a proper hit on Albedo, the copycat used his free arm to strike Bullfrag, launching him backwards, then, using the arm that was still attached to the frog alien's tongue he pulled him closer to himself, hitting him again, this went on for some time with Albedo repeatedly, sending the frog man backwards then pulling him back for another punch, essentially turning the frog alien into a paddle ball.
"Haha! I must say Tennyson, this is the most fun I've had in years!" Albedo laughed as Ben groaned in pain over the consecutive hits, all the while Eon looked at the scene with no real emotion.
Having had enough of this, Ben pushed through the pain and tapped the Omnitrix badge right as he was about to get hit by Albedo, and in flash, Bullfrag was gone and had been replaced by a red muscular alien.
"Four Arms!" Ben screamed as he approached his duplicate with high speeds, he was moving so quickly that beyond displaying his shock, Albedo was unable to do anything, resulting in him being sent flying backwards.
Four Arms shifted his attention from the dinosaur alien back to the time traveler, attempting to land a punch on him. This was no easy task however as Eon moved at incredible speeds, dodging most if not all of the red alien's attacks, but after missing yet another punch, Ben decided to change strategies, specifically aiming towards the ground, imitating what Albedo had done moments prior. The four armed punch ended up being so powerful that it too created a shock wave, which caught the older looking man by surprise, which left him vulnerable just long enough for Four Arms to land multiple consecutive punches on the time traveler, seemingly knocking him out.
Four Arms grinned at the fallen villain, but before he could properly celebrate, he felt a sharp pain flowing through his body. Falling to the ground, Four Arms looked back to see that Albedo had changed forms, now transformed in to the alien that could only be described as a living battery, Ben had called him 'Buzzshock', and while not one of his strongest aliens, he could still be very dangerous with his electrical powers, he was especially dangerous at the hands of someone with ill intent like Albedo.
The small alien approached Four Arms, a malicious grin growing with each step he took. At the same time, Eon had slowly gotten up, brushing the dust off of his coat.
The young teen looked around in pain, looking for something to use against the electric alien, and with seemingly no other options left, he did the only thing he could think of in this moment of pain and agony. By using his remaining forces, he extended one of his arms and grabbed Eon by the leg and shoved him at Albedo, shocking Eon, both in a metaphorical and literal sense, while Albedo ended up being crushed by the taller man.
Ben sighed, and groaned as he transformed back into his regular self, he looked at the two, realizing that they were already getting back up, Ben knew that at the moment he could not beat them, not alone, so he did what was probably the best course of action, he began running, running away from the fight. The two super villains followed him, but quickly lost his track as Ben had used his watch to turn himself into a ghost like creature, which he had named "Ghostfreak", without either of them noticing it.
Ghostfreak, an alien capable of doing anything that, well, a ghost could do, from possessing people, to being able to turn completely invisible and intangible.
Using the alien's abilities, Ben fled the fight, turning invisible as to not be seen by either one of the villains, then, he began flying through the walls, trying to find one of the nearby communication stations, and after a short while, he was able to reach the communication station.
In theory Ben could have used the Omnitrix's communication system, but he didn't want to take any risks, he had to make sure that Albedo and Eon did not see him calling for help, and knowing Albedo, there was a chance that his Ultimatrix could end up interfering with the transmission. He knew that a sneak attack would be the best way to defeat them quickly with virtually no casualties.
"Perfect! Alright, let's see, I think I need to press this, then that, and..." Nothing, the computer screen remained the same as it was before. Ben sighed, continuing to mess with the computer, trying to get it to work
"Dammit I need to pay more attention to what Rook tells me!" The ghost alien exclaimed in annoyance, desperation in his voice he began to press random buttons in the keyboard, trying to get the communication systems on.
"Come on, come on! Work dang it!" He exclaimed, slamming the keyboard in front of him, and just like that, the screen displayed:
-Communication systems on, please record you message now-
"Oh...I guess that works, this is Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, I am sending my coordinates, the base is under attack, I repeat, the base is under attack! Albedo and Eon are here! They are after... I actually don't know what they want, well besides me dead, but I need help, right now!" The ghost alien finished the message, pressing one final button, hoping that the message was recorded and sent to other Plumber bases.
-Message recorded, Sending distress call to all nearby Plumbers-
"Yes! Alright, all I need to do now is buy them some time!" the teen exclaimed joyfully as he turned the device off, flying away, framing it as if no one had even been there.
After that, Ben flew back to the base's halls, hoping to find and distract the two intruders, while keeping his distance, seeing as he was too tired to face the two of them head on.
The Omnitrix began emitting a beep, indicating that it was all out of fuel, green light engulfed Ben, turning him back into his normal self.
"Aw man, this is not good, come on, come on!" Ben exclaimed, as he attempted to get the watch working again.
Suddenly, Eon appeared next to him, blasting Ben across the room, where Albedo was standing, the copycat simply smiled. What followed was an intense beating, both of them landed multiple powerful attacks on the young hero, knocking him to the ground. Knowing that he had to stall for as long as possible, and that he had no way to flee or to fight, Ben started doing what he did best: Annoying villains.
"So, I feel like now is a good time for you two to start your big monologue, you know, telling me how you two teamed up, what the big plan is, and go on to tell me how I'm done for, you know the drill right?" Ben quipped, while slowly picking himself up
"Oh I am sure you would love that wouldn't you? Well not this time!" Eon screamed as he fired another purple energy beam towards Ben who jumped to his right, barely avoiding the blast
"Oh come on Albedo, I understand why Eon would say that, but you? Come on, don't you want to tell me how you are so much smarter than me? How you finally caught me? Come on, at least give me an idea of what your plan is, this might be the last time we ever meet, don't you want to let me know how there was no way of me beating you? How I was a fool to even try to defeat the smartest mind of the galaxy?" Ben continued talking, holding back a bloody cough. Albedo let out a small laugh
"Ah, Ben Tennyson, you know me too well, I am dying for that moment to come, but I will be patient this time, I cannot and will not be committing the same mistake again, victory will be ours!... Although..., I suppose it doesn't hurt to brag a little so..., for old times sake I'll give you a hint: All we need from you is one small DNA sample and we'll be on our way. Ready to destroy Everything that Ben Tennyson holds dear to his heart!" Albedo exclaimed loudly as he transformed into Humungousaur once again, and charged towards Ben
Ben watched as Albedo approached him at very high speeds, with little to no time to think he reached out to the Omnitrix, transforming himself into Diamondhead, an alien much taller than Ben, with a green colored crystal body, and charged towards Albedo, but before Ben could even reach Albedo, Eon seemingly teleported next to Diamondhead, hitting him in the gut followed by a powerful blast, knocking him into the ground once again. Although shocked at first over the fact that that hit had actually hurt him, seeing as his body was made out of one of the most resistant minerals in the entire galaxy, Diamondhead shook those thoughts away, quickly picking himself up, jumping forwards attempting to hit Eon, but the time traveler was too fast and effortlessly dodged the punch while also landing a couple more blasts on Diamondhead, he let out a grunt, but did not give in to the pain, and attempted to strike Eon once again, only to be interrupted by Albedo this time, still transformed in Humongosaur, as he punched him with an absurd amount of strength.
The strike had been so powerful that Ben had been forcibly reverted back from Diamondhead back into his regular human form.
Now on the ground, Ben used his remaining strength in an attempt of reaching the Omnitrix attempting to change into a form that could get him out of there, but was stopped midway by Eon as the time-traveler stepped on the teenage hero's right arm. Letting out a small scream, Ben fell unconscious, unable to handle the exhaustion.
Eon stepped away from the teen and looked back at Albedo
"Now Albedo, let's get this over with, just get the sample and let us leave" Eon exclaimed in an irritated tone of voice
"Calm down, although Azmuth's inventions are far inferior to my own, I cannot guarantee that it will be an easy task removing the Celestial Sapien DNA from the Omnitrix. That is why you are here, to ensure that I have enough time to extract the DNA" Albedo says with little to no emotion, now kneeling before Ben's body, holding his left arm, analyzing the Omnitrix.
"Incorrect Galvan, I am here to make sure that our deal remains intact and that you keep your word"
Albedo merely rolled his eyes at his ally's remark and returned his attention towards the now unconscious hero's left wrist, reaching forward Albedo grabbed the teen's hand and began analyzing the watch. After pressing a few buttons on the watch, the Omnitrix opened itself, revealing the inner components of the watch.
The copycat began studying; analyzing the watch carefully, and after pulling some other worldly tools from his pocket, he began to poke the Omnitrix, like a kid would poke an animal to see whether it was dead or not. After a couple of minutes of doing that, the Omnitrix released a few electric green sparks, which made Albedo smile in content, but after a few more minutes of messing with the interior of the Omnitrix, Albedo's smile began turning into a frown.
This went on for more 7 or so minutes, but in the end, Albedo sighed in defeat, closing the device, and stepping away from his arch-nemesis unconscious body.
"What is it? Why did you stop?!" Eon asked angrily
"I am not able to access the DNA sample...Ben Tennyson is dumb, but not stupid, he must've installed some kind of security system on the Omnitrix...We must take him somewhere else, I'll need more time before I can bypass the security protocols"
"We do not have time for that, if we leave now, we will merely be drawing Tennyson's allies towards us! We cannot afford that risk!"
"I know that! But what do you expect me to do now?! If we stay here we will not be any better than if we flee, I will not be able to extract the DNA sample, and the Plumbers will return from their mission, and we will have to deal with an army all the while we try to bypass the Omnitrix security systems, so help me transport him somewhere else or forget about ever getting rid of him! We must retreat if we want to get that sample!"
"...Fine, but you better acquire the Celestial Sapien DNA by the end of the day, otherwise our Deal is Off!" Eon said nervously, anger in his voice
Eon approached Ben, reaching for the young teen's arm to pick him up, when suddenly, Ben opened his eyes, using his right arm, he hit Albedo across the face followed by a kick in Eon's gut.
"Man, it was a good thing you two didn't notice me waking up, otherwise I would've never gotten a chance to hear your plan. Well, if X is what you want, then let's give the audience what they are waiting for!" Ben said with confidence, reaching for the Omnitrix, ready to activate it
"No! Stop him!" Albedo screamed to Eon while dashing towards Ben
In a moment of panic, Eon dashed forward, charging a blast of energy, aiming it directly at Ben, and at the exact moment that the energy beam is fired, both Ben and Albedo activate their respective watches, both standing practically next to one another, their watches emitting powerful electrical sparks of energy, surrounding their bodies. What follows is a clash of the three energy blasts, followed by a blinding light engulfing the three of them, and just like that Ben Tennyson was gone, and in his place, there was only a cloud of smoke, and dust...

...
"AAAAHHHHH" Ben screamed, as he was sent flying at incredible speeds, he could barely make out what was happening around him, he could only see shades of purple and blue flying past him, a visual that resembled something straight out of a sci-fi movie, when the characters enter hyper-space, Ben continued screaming for some time, when suddenly...
THUD
Ben seemingly hit the ground, the pain too big for him to handle and slowly, his vision became blurrier and blurrier, with the last thing that he could see being a series of shadows running away from his location...
...
"...Aww Man... Oouch my back, my head, why does my everything hurts!...wait...where...am I? Wait! Where are Albedo and Eon?! Di-did I do this? Did you do this?!" Ben picked himself off the ground, while talking to the watch.
"Alright let's see, I am...not in the plumber base anymore, am I in an alleyway? How did I get here?! ...okaay..., let's see no sign of Albedo or Eon either, which is...okay? Not sure if them not being around is a good thing or bad one right now...Well let's just get this over with, if I'm lucky I'm still on Earth and close to a Plumber base" Ben said as he turned around, finally stepping out of the alleyway.
The young teen now found himself in the crowded streets of...some city he's never been to.
Ben began analyzing his surroundings, noticing many tall buildings surrounding him, by the way they looked he could safely assume that he was still on Earth, which was really good news for him, he wasn't very excited about the idea of being stranded in some alien planet he's never been to before, he then focused on the many signs and ads placed on said buildings, which were all super hero themed weirdly enough, and although Ben could not understand what they were saying he knew for sure that that was Japanese, he had watched enough Sumo Slammers to know what Japanese looked like. This gave the young Tennyson some level of comfort, knowing what country he was in made things feel even less overwhelming, he was not excited about being stranded in some country he's never heard of either, at least he now had a vague idea as to what direction to fly towards as Jetray if he needed to go back home by himself.
After getting a general idea of where he was, the next step was getting in contact with any plumber bases nearby, he had to know if they were able to catch Albedo and Eon. Ben then proceeded to tap the Omnitrix, initiating the watch's communication systems.
"Come in, this is Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, does anyone read me? I... am now in Japan, I'll send my coordinates, hopefully you guys can pick me up, not that excited by the idea of having to fly back home as Jetray or Stinkfly, although I wouldn't mind having to stay here a while longer, I mean, I kinda need to do some Sumo Slammers merch shopping and-"
-Unable to enter in contact with any Plumber base-
The Omnitrix informed its user
"What?! You can contact Azmuth across galaxies but you can't enter in contact with a plumber base a couple of countries away from here? Seriously?!" Ugh fine, can you like, call anyone? Need to let Grandpa and the others that I am ok"
-Unable to contact Max Tennyson; Gwendolyn Tennyson; Kevin E Levin; Rook Blonko and...-
"What?! Alright, who else even is there for me to call, actually you know what, call Azmuth, maybe he can fix your communication systems"
-Unable to contact Azmuth the First Thinker-
"Okaay, great... can you like, at least tell me what is the nearest plumber base around here?"
-There are no plumber bases within the current planet-
"What?! But we are on Earth! What do you mean 'There are no Plumber bases within the current planet'?! Did something happened to you while Albedo was messing with you? Can you give me a diagnosis or something like that?"
-Omnitrix operating at -
And just before the Omnitrix could inform the teen whether or not everything was working as intended, a large explosion could be heard not too far away from where Ben was, he could even see smoke coming from behind the buildings in front of him
"Alright, I'll check that status report later, cause now, It's Hero Time! Let's see, whatever the problem is, I'm sure XLR8 can get there in time!...huh?"
Ben looked at the Omnitrix display in surprise and confusion. What would normally be a dial filled with multiple aliens for Ben to choose, was now a dial with a single alien that could be picked.
"Oh great, of course something else would be wrong, you know what, whatever I don't have time for this, I'll deal with it later, right now, It's Hero time!" Ben proceeds to slam the watch, with a green light engulfing the populated streets, drawing attention towards him, and where once stood Ben, now stood a taller bulkier rock like creature, whose head was on fire.
"HEATBLAST!"
Using his hands, Ben, now transformed, began to shoot fire towards the ground, resulting in him launching himself into the skies, flying towards the direction of the explosion from a few moments ago
Meanwhile...
"Alright now! This is your last chance! Hand me the money, or I swear to God I'll blow up this damn bank" Said the masked robber, to one of the bank's employees. The man held an empty bag with his giant rocky left hand, while on the other he held a device that resembled a detonator.
Moments earlier, after having knocked out the security guards, the robber had placed several small bombs across the bank, threatening to blow all of them in case his demands were not met, and after the initial confrontation with the bank's employees went sour, he blew up one of the bombs to prove that he was not bluffing, which resulted in the explosion from before, the explosion had also led to the entrance of the bank to be partially blocked out by large boulders.
"Bu-But you'll die too if you-"
"If I what? Blow it up while I'm still inside the bank? Nah Ain't gonna be a problem to me, you see my quirk allows me to turn parts of my body into a real special and tough kind of rock, so this explosion will only give me some small scratches, but I doubt everyone inside here has a quirk as good as mine, so why don't you just shut up, quit making excuses and just give the cash before I do something very... drastic" The robber smirked, handing over the empty bag to the employee.
The bank employee, sighed, holding back tears, he was out of options, the man had already tried distracting the robber, but instead of buying time for heroes to show up, that only resulted in the bank's entrance being reduced to ashes. Still, even though no hero had showed up yet, there was a small chance that after the first explosion, a hero would be notified and would be on his or her way to the bank. But as of now, he could only comply to the robber's request and hand all the money they had in the bank.
As the employee turned around to grab the money he had near him, he suddenly heard a loud blast behind him, he turned around in fear, believing that the robber had changed his mind and blown up another one of the explosives, but instead, the robber was now kneeling on the ground, groaning in pain, with the back of his shirt now seemingly turned into ashes, after what he could only assume had been a fire based attack, the robber's back now exposed, revealing his rock-like skin.
The bank employee looked up in surprise to see that the boulders that once blocked the bank's entrance had now been seemingly melted, very likely by the fire hero now standing at the bank's entrance.
"What was that?! Wai-i-is th- that... Ende- Endeavour?!" The robber turned around, after realizing that what had just hit him had been a fireball, fear in his eyes, but that fear quickly shifted into confusion as instead of the tall bulky man that he expected, stood a much slimmer and shorter individual.
<Wow, seriously dude? Don't you think that's a bit cliché? Like, the only thing missing is the big dollar sign on the bag. So what do you say about surrendering now?> Heatblast confidently said...in english
"Uh...what? I didn't get a single word of what you said" The robber asked in confusion
<Uh, What? I didn't get a single word of what you said...Oh yeaah... I forgot, we're in Japan, Ahem, Omnitrix do we still have the translator operating normally?> The fire man shifted his attention from the thief to the badge on his chest
-Universal Translator Now Active-
"Alright, let's try this again, Ahem, Hi, name's Heatblast but you can call me the guy that's gonna send you to jail, now, why don't we skip the whole "Easy or hard way" and we just jump to the part where I tie you up, let the police take you away and I go on my merry way, how does that sound to you?"
"Huh, ha...haha...Hahaha....HAHAHA! Man! And here I was worried that I was gonna be forced to face a real Hero! I mean, who even are you? Are you some kind of rookie? Or are you just A sidekick? Look pal I dunno who you think you are, but just in case you didn't hear me before let me make this clear again, I got explosives all around the bank, so, one wrong move from ya, and I blow everything up! Now "guy who's gonna send me to jail" how about you stand back, and let me do my thing, that is, unless you want to risk the lives of all of these innocent people" The robber said pointing at the people around them, confidence in his voice.
Heatblast's face now displayed what could only be described as a mixture of anger and fear. He knew that if he were to try to face the man head on, the entire building would be turned into ashes, but he also couldn't simply let the man do as he pleases and leave with the people's money, Ben had to think of something and quickly...He looked around, searching for the bombs, or for something to use as a distraction, but his eyes widened at the sight of what was in the man's rock-like hand:
The detonator! Of course! All he had to do was take it away from him, although this was far easier sad than done, without XLR8 or Fastrack's speed, it was gonna take the right moment for him to strike the device away from the thief's hand, so he was going to have to force an opening, and to do that, he was going to have to risk it all...and start mocking the guy
"Oh damn, I guess you got me! How could I have been so careless, jumping in without a plan! I guess I'll have to surrender to you now, I'm sorry everyone, I should've thought this through, there's nothing that I can do against this...weird rock dude" Heatblast said in a dramatic yet sarcastic manner.
The thief looked unimpressed with Heatblast's remarks, but still did not let his guard down, despite Heatblast not being as intimidating as Endeavor, he still had a very powerful fire quirk. And although his rock-like body could handle high temperatures pretty well, Heatlblast's last strike had hurt him quite a bit, meaning that he couldn't be too careless.
Both hero and villain watched the other moves very carefully, waiting for the other to leave an opening
"...Oh my gosh What is that?!" Heatblast exclaimed with a look of surprise on his face
"...seriously? You think I'm gonna fall for the oldest trick in the bo- AH!" The man screamed as the fire hero took his opening and in a blink and you'll miss moment, he fired a small yet powerful fireball at the robber's hand, resulting in him to dropping the detonator
"Of course not, but I knew that was a good way to get an opening" Heatblast exclaimed now charging towards the detonator
"Oh no you don't!"
The Masked robber exclaimed furiously as he activated his quirk, and using his left rock-like hand, he grabbed Heatblast by the neck before he could get to the detonator, he then began striking the hero on the face continuously with his other quirk enhanced hand. After about 3 solid hits to the face, the fire hero used all his strength to block the fourth strike, this was no easy task however, as he had to use both of his hands to block the hit as the villain's rock limbs were much bigger than that of a regular human, with a single one of his hands being bigger than Heatblast's entire head.
After blocking the attack, Heatblast proceeded to quickly increase the intensity of the flames of his hands, and just after a few seconds, the robber could not handle the heat anymore, and had to drop the hero to the ground. Taking this new opportunity, Heatblast landed a punch on the villain's gut, followed by an uppercut in his chin, finishing the combo with a powerful albeit small fire ball directed at the foe's chest. Sadly the attack was surprisingly not as effective as before, as the villain's rocky exterior began growing, with the rocks increasing in size, creating another protective layer, covering his entire body, seemingly bigger tougher than the one from before.
"You're tough I'll give you that, but my skin is tougher than that"
The thief let out a smirk, and proceeded to pummel Heatblast into the ground, hitting him with both hands, and while that hurt, A Lot, he had no time to take in the pain, as the robber grabbed him by the neck and punched him so hard he was sent flying out of the bank itself!
The robber smirked once more, taking his attention back to the bag of money and the detonator. He reached down to grab both when Heatblast came literally flying towards him, with little to no time to defend himself, the bank robber was forced to tank the hero's attack. The strike was so powerful that it got the robber launched across the bank, dropping both the bag and the detonator.
Heatblast let out a small laugh as the robber fell face to the ground, he then turned his attention back at the detonator, currently right next to his foot, but as he knelt down to pick it up, the robber screamed in fury, picking one of the chairs near him and throwing it directly at Heatblast, the chair came flying towards him with such speed that he was simply unable to properly react, resulting in him and the chair being sent flying towards the opposite end of the room.
Heatblast groaned, not because the chair had hurt him, but because he was starting to get annoyed at this seemingly never ending game of cat and mouse.
Suddenly, the robber began charging towards Heatblast with all his might, screaming like a wild animal, it was clear, that as of now, he did not care about the money or the detonator, all that he cared about was getting rid of the hero.
Ben looked to his right and noticed the detonator had landed right next to him, he could grab it, but he was not going to, he was tired of this game so instead, he too began charging forward, and just like before, he began shooting fire towards the ground, essentially turning himself into a living rocket, his speed increasing drastically, so much so that he was basically flying at this point. The two continued to charge forward, the villain preparing a rock enhanced punch, while Heatblast prepared a fire augmented punch. And finally...
BANG
The two punches collide creating a shock wave across the bank, shattering anything made out of glass that had remained intact before the fight.
"Is that all you got?!" Shouted the robber
"No, I was just warming up" Heatblast says with a grin on his face
The robber's expression quickly went from a malicious grin to a worried frown as he noticed Heatblast right arm extended towards his chest, the hand emitting so much heat, that even with all of the layers of dense rock covering his skin, he could still feel it.
"Kaboom" The hero quipped and in an instant, Heatblast fired an attack.
BOOOM
Despite its power, the attack was very calculated, focused exclusively at the man's rocky skin. The flames were so powerful that they sent the villain flying not only across the room, but also across the street, that was a distance of at least 32 feet! The robber remained on the ground across the street defeated and groaning in pain
Heatblast smiled at the sight, and then looked down, noticing and grabbing the detonator, finally destroying it once and for all, as he crushed the device, the people of the bank looked at him in amazement and began cheering, celebrating the hero's victory.
"Oh, thank you thank you, you are all too kind, just an average day for a hero. Now I wouldn't really stay here if I were any of you, the bombs are still around here somewhere, not to worry! I'll deal with this-"
"I believe it is more appropriate to say that we will be dealing with this"
"What who said that-Wow..." Heatblast looked behind in awe as what he could only describe as two super heroes, now stood at the bank's entrance, the people that were once cheering Heatblast were now cheering at the arrival of these two other guys
"Wo-Wow who are you guys?! Are-are you super heroes too?"
"Of course, what did you think we were? Anyway, name's Death Arms, this is Kamui Woods and we'll be handling things from now on, Kamui can you deal with things around here? Gotta talk with the hot head over here" Said the first man, he was very tall and muscular, he also wore a very eye catching caution patterned headband, alongside a matching belt and wrist-guards.
"Yes, I'll get the civilians out and deal with the bombs" Replied the second man, he was much smaller and slimmer than the first one, his skin seemed to be made out of wood, or was that armor? Ben couldn't tell to be honest. Ben also noticed that the wood hero had his left arm stretched out like vines, similar to some of Ben's own alien transformations, they were stretched outside of the bank, and held the Rock Villain all the way across the street
"Good" 'Death Arms' replied before turning his attention back to Ben: "Say, you are not from around here are you? I patrol around here for a long time and never seen you before"
"Oh..Oh No! I'm actually from America, I-let's just say that, got caught in something of a situation and ended up here by accident" Heatblast responded somewhat nervous, it wasn't every day that he met another super hero, at least an authentic one
"Uh, huh...okay, look what you did here? you did fine, but think before you act, with that fire quirk of yours you could've killed the guy or burnt the hostages alive. Watch it next time got it?" He said pointing behind his back to the civilians and the now tied up bank robber
"Quirk? I...wouldn't call my fire quirky" The flame hero commented in confusion
"Haha real funny, never heard that one before...look seeing as you're new around here and all of that, I'm gonna need to see your license, keep the higher ups informed on what happened around here with the hostages and the rock fella" The tall man asked in a somewhat annoyed tone
"Uh, license? For what?"
"What do you mean "License for what"?Your Hero license, come on just show it to me so we can all go on with our lives"
"Look man, I don't really know how you guys work around here but, I don't need any licenses, I'm Ben 10!" Ben exclaimed in confidence, pointing at himself with his thumbs while the older man just stared at him in confusion.
"No, really! Here look!" Heatblast exclaimed, he reached down towards the badge in his chest and pressed it. A green light filled the room, and where once stood the tall fiery hero, now stood a regular teenage boy.
"See, Ben 10"
...
"YOU'RE A KID?!"
"I mean, I'm basically seventeen, so not really a kid..."
"Oh gosh, this is bad..." Death Arms said as he clasped his eyes and groaned in annoyance
"Uuh, you okay there pal?" Ben asked now more confused than ever
"Of course I'm not! Ugh, kid I get it, you saw people in need of help and wanted to do something, but you can't just use your quirk as you please in public! You could have killed someone, and then what do you think would have happened? Leave the hero work for the actual Heroes!
"Bu-But I am a hero-"
"No you are not, not without a license. Look, because of the circumstances, and because I don't have time to deal with this, I'll let you off easy this time, but if I see you using that fire quirk of yours in public again, I'll take you to the police myself, got that?"
The man pointed directly at Ben's face, feeling he was out of options the teen nervously nodded in agreement. The tall hero smiled, seemingly satisfied with the young man's response.
"Wa-wait, and how am I supposed to get one of these 'Hero Licenses'? Ben asked before the other man left the bank
"Huh? What kind of question is that? Just like everyone else, by going to a hero school," The other replied.
...
A few minutes after the bank incident, Ben roamed the crowded streets, trying to get a hold of what was happening, absorbing all that had happened to him this morning, which had been a lot, starting with the Albedo and Eon's attack to the plumber base and ending with him stuck in Japan being threatened to be thrown in jail if he transformed into an alien, or that's what he thought the Death Arms guy meant.
While roaming aimlessly, Benjamin continued to mess around with the Omnitrix, trying to get some answers, such as...
"Why can I only pick Heatblast?!What happened to you know, Every other alien?!" Ben exclaimed, screaming at the watch on his wrist
-DNA samples have left the Omnitrix after system's malfunctions following the encounter with Galvan Prime's fugitive Albedo-
"Aw man, you're telling me the aliens are running wild in Japan?! Not again! Let me guess... I only have 24 hours to all of the missing aliens back?"
- Unable to determine with precision time left to reacquire DNA samples-
"Well, at least that's not a 'yes', let's hope that we have enough...time...left...." Ben slowed down until he came to a full stop, repeating what he just said in his head, and finally, and as if a light bulb went on, his eyes widened, he slapped his forehead and began shouting
"Of course! Eon! He must've done something to me! I'm probably in the future, or the past or I don't know, I-I need to go to somewhere with lots of information, li-Like a library. That's it I gotta go to a library!
Ben began running like a mad man, desperately looking for something that resembled a library, or a book store, heck he was willing to enter a tourist trap if it meant that he could get some information on what Japan he was in, or when in Japan he was.
Ben was already somewhat familiar with dimension and time traveling, but it was hard to tell the two apart when you were also teleported to a city you've never been to before. And although it was far more likely that he had been sent to the future, some things simply didn't add up, but he would not worry about that right now, once he found a library, or a book store, or anywhere with computers and books he would clear up all of this.
The chase went on for about 16 minutes, all to no avail, as all that Ben had found during this time were dead ends, some train stations, and a hospital, he also ran past the same cafe, at least 3 times! but despite all these set backs, he persisted...for about 4 more minutes, after running for 20 minutes he could not do it, he gave up, he had been running non stop, and was as close to finding a library or something similar to it as when he had first started running around the streets of Japan.
Ben finally gave in to the exhaustion after noticing that he was next to the same cafe from before, so using his remaining strength he dashed inside it, essentially throwing himself to a nearby seat. Sweating and panting heavily, Ben stayed still, slowly regaining some of his lost strength, but sitting down was not enough, he needed a cup of water at the very least, so Ben turned around to look for a waiter to make an order, but instead of seeing an employee, he noticed there were a bunch of books and computers!
Ben got up, laughing in happiness, turns out, the "Cafe" was actually a book store!
But slowly the realization sank in, realizing that this entire time of dashing through the city, he had run past this book store at least 3 times, thinking that it was only a stupid coffee shop! He had wasted all of his energies looking for a library when there was one right next to him the entire time! He groaned in anger, furious for wasting his own time, nonetheless, he did it, he found the library, now all he had to do was take a look at the date and big events from the last few years, that would make things clearer for sure. He walked towards one of the computers, ready to find answers to his questions...only to be met by a foreign keyboard, and a computer completely in Japanese...Ben sighed in annoyance, this was going to take some time...
...After a couple of minutes, Ben was able to change the language from one of the computers from the default Japanese to English, all thanks to the store's staff, who also helped him greatly by providing him with a new keyboard.
The first thing the teen did was check the date, and to his mild surprise, the date on the computer read 2x23, so he was in the future, but he still needed to know if he wasn't in some weird alternative future, seeing as despite the date, Ben hadn't noticed any technology more advanced than the ones from his own time period, where were the Lightsabers, the flying cars and the chrome buildings for crying out loud?!
He also hadn't seen any aliens walking around the streets, something that had already become pretty normal back on his own time period, so either something happened and they all left Earth or he was in an alternate future, so he searched for any alien activity in the past, any mention of the Incursean invasions, the many... many attacks from Vilgax, anything really, and after a quick search, his eyes widened in shock, his search resulted in nothing, with not a single confirmed report of aliens, not a single mention of the Plumbers, nor the multiple alien attacks that had occurred just last year, Ben couldn't even find a single article talking about himself, the guy who saved the universe more times than anyone could count!
Ben sighed in defeat, accepting the fact that he had probably been sent to a parallel world of some kind, a world with no aliens, a world where Benjamin Kirby Tennyson was no one, and even though he did not find anything related to him or his many adventures, he did find something quite peculiar that sparked his interest: Several ads, featuring and promoting a bunch of super heroes he never heard of before, but these did not seem to be made-up super heroes, they were being promoted as real people, with agencies that you could work for, numbers you could call and so on, and while Ben had met real life super heroes in the past, he was simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of them that there were.
Ben shifted his focus, perhaps learning more about this world he was seemingly stuck in could help him find a way back home, so he checked the ads, hoping to find one that could explain why there were so many heroes in this world, and after reading through some of them, while he did not get the precise he answer he was looking for he did notice a word being repeated multiple times across different articles and ads, one that he had heard earlier today in the bank 'Quirk'
After yet another quick search, Ben finally found the answer he was looking for: In this world 'Quirks' referred to one's super human abilities, something that apparently 80% of the entire human population possessed! That explained why the hero from the bank called Heatblast's flames 'Quirky', he must've thought that that was Ben's super power.
Ben looked more into Quirks, looking over it's ambiguous origins, how they were classified, and how, to his dismay, their usage was restricted depending on how powerful one's Quirk was, and how you would be considered a criminal if you used it in public without a license, a Hero license, something that as it turns out you actually had to go to school to get one, turns out that Death Arms was telling the truth back in the bank. And while this was not the most exciting answer in the world for Ben, he now had an idea on what he would need to do, if he wished to run around as Heatblast.

Ben stepped away from the computer screen, leaning back on his chair, taking it all in. He closed his eyes, covering his face with his hands, thinking back on well, everything, he was very anxious and nervous, he couldn't deny that, the first...err second...time he traveled from one universe to another, he wasn't alone, he had the help of 2 Galvans, the smartest beings in 3 possibly 5 galaxies! Sure they were arguably the two dumbest Galvans of the entire universe, but it was better having them around than...being alone...
Ben began thinking back on his friends, his family, wondering if they were okay, if they knew that, despite everything he was also fine. Above all else, he was worried about them, wondering if they were able to capture Eon and Albedo. Ben felt hopeless, he had no idea what to do now, but before Ben could let those depressing feelings sink in, the Omnitrix lit up, beeping like an alarm clock.
-Warning, Omnitrix DNA Sample nearby, displaying other nearby DNA samples current locations-
The Omnitrix alerted Ben, displaying a small holographic radar with badges spread across it, indicating the location of Ben's missing aliens. Ben looked at the watch, then looked back to the computer screen, he frowned, trying to come up with a plan.
"Well, let's see, I need to get back home, but for that I'm gonna need all of my aliens back, but for that, I'd need to use Heatblast, and I can't do that without one of these hero licenses, well unless I don't mind getting chased by an army of super heroes... Alright!I think I got a plan" Ben smirked staring at the computer screen.
The screen displayed another ad, this time reading:
"U.A Entrance Exam: Sign in Today and become the Next Number One Hero of the World! Only 4 Days Left!"
