“Come on, really?! This is like the fourteenth time I’ve lost to you today.” The boy said to his friend, annoyed.
“Tomi, stop whining like a baby. just admit that you lost to me and that i’m the best at chess.” Said the friend, who looked at Tomi with a big smug smile on his face.
Tomi pouts, “Yeah sure, easy for a nerd to say.”
“hey it’s not like i’m the one complaining about losing in a board game.”
“…”
“ok how ‘bout this, the next time one of us wins, the other person has to go to that suspicious alleyway near school. maybe you’ll see me fall through the floor like other people said to have.”
“ALRIGHT, YOU GOT A DEAL! IMA ABSOLUTELY CRUSH YOU THIS TIME!”
2 minutes later, the game already ended with his friend checking him.
“DAMMIT!”
“did you really think you would win lol. i was just keeping your hopes up, i never said i would let you win.” his friend said more smugly than ever.
“UGHHHH, you SUCK Rogan. I hope you know that I will beat you one day-” A smartphone notification popped up on Tomi’s phone. It was a youtube notification from his favorite vtuber, who was none other than the time-traveling detective herself, Amelia Watson
“Oh hey dude check it out!” Said Tomi all excited. “Amelia is playing Starfield again!”
“okay, so? you still have to go to that alleyway you know.”
“But!-“ “no buts, a deal is a deal.” Tomi then pouts.
Tomi suddenly stood up, “Ok you know what?! I’ll just watch her stream once I come back!” Tomi then frustratedly left his room to go outside.
“uhhh… okay?” Rogan said all confused. “i mean you could have just watched it on your way- oh never mind your phones here…”

It was pouring rain outside by the time Tomi had gotten near his school. While drenched in rainwater, he decides to take shelter at the school building.
“Man, why is the weather forecast always lying to me? It literally said that it wouldn’t rain today.”
He walked around the school building for at least an hour before going out again. The rain was… much better compared to before, but it was still pretty bad.
“Ok I think it should be around this corner and… Ahah! There it is!” He says as he turns the corner and finds the same alleyway his friend Rogan was talking about.
“So… I guess I just record it for proof or something…? I don't know how to do this and not gonna lie, I kinda wanna get out of here. It's getting freezing cold.”
Suddenly, there was a loud thud on the ground. Tomi tried to run the other way but the way back… wasn’t there?
“WHAT?! WHERE DID IT GO?!” Tomi shouted.
He tried to run away, but the ground below him suddenly disappears, making him fall into the ground.

When Tomi woke up from the fall, it seemed like there was nothing around him. He blinked countless times but all he could see was a dark void that surrounded him endlessly in all directions.
While trying to stand up, he found himself trapped in a rope of some sort.
Luckily for him though, he always carried a spear pocket knife, just in case something like this were to ever happen.
Tomi groaned, “Ughhhh, what is this place?”
Tomi stood up slowly and began to wander around the dark void in front of him.
“Wait, I wonder if-” He tried to pull out his phone, but it wasn’t there.
He panicked, “Huh?! W-where did my phone go? I thought I-” The sudden realization caught up to him, he had left his phone at the house. He couldn’t call anyone for help even if he wanted to.
“Crap. How am I supposed to get out of here now?” He said worryingly.
When he blinked again, he was brought to a completely different place than where he was. He was now in some sort of lab.
“Wha? Where am I?” Tomi said surprisingly.
He looked around the unfamiliar place where parts of machinery scattered all across the floor.
“What are these metal parts for…? But more importantly, What is this place?! Where did that alleyway go?”
“What alleyway?” The sudden voice of a woman reached Tomi as he panicked.
“And also, who exactly are you and why are you in my lab?” The woman continued to ask.
As Tomi looked around towards the voice, he was left speechless as he looked directly at a woman with golden yellow hair, a pair of crystal blue eyes, and a brown coat that covered her body.
“A-are you…”
“Am I what?”
“WAIT, ARE YOU AMELIA WATSON?”
“Um… yeah? What about it?”
“Oh My God! I’m like one of your biggest fans ever! I have so many questions to ask you! Wait, should I ask about what your actual name is, or should I ask about how you got into Hololive? Maybe I can ask you about what you wear everyday or how you-” “Okay there bud! Calm down!” Ame asked calmly.
“There's also a lot of questions I want to ask you too like-” “THE, AMELIA WATSON, HAS A QUESTION FOR ME?! Haha, Yes! Okay what is your question about? I’ll literally answer Anything you ask me like how I watch your clips everyday or how much I watch them or how I-”
“No, none of that. I want to ask you something about what you just said.” Ame said more seriously.
“About what your actual name is?” Tomi asked.
“No!” Ame screamed.
“Then… what is it?”
“What is Hololive?”
Tomi froze, unable to process what his favorite oshi had just said. W-what, what are you talking about? You’re the one… and only Amelia Wa… He thought to himself as he might have a clue to what's going on.
He then remembers something. Wait, I think I remember something about a watch… or something like that that she owns? I can ask her about that to find out!
“Hey um… on second thought, I have a different question to ask you…” Tomi asks Ame, still a bit unsure of what is going on.
“Yeah sure, go ahead.” Ame said calmly.
“Listen, I may sound… crazy, but do you happen to have… like a… a watch of some sort?”
Ame found this question very amusing and surprising as no one had ever asked if she had a watch. How does he know about my watch? Ok Amelia, stay focused, relax.
“Um, y-yes… I do. How did you know?”
At this point, Tomi knew what was going on. A few months ago, he had read some books about the theories of other parallel multiverses and timeline jumping. But never had he EVER thought that it would happen to be a real possibility. Especially for it to happen to him.
“Oh no, no no no no no.” He starts hyperventilating, “This, this can’t- this- this can’t be- c-can’t be happening!”
“Woah, bud, a-are you okay- WOAH, WOAH THERE. UM, I NEED TO GET YOU TO MY MEDICAL ROOM! STAY WITH ME HERE!”
Ame panicked as she wrapped her arms around him and hurriedly brought him towards the medical room.
All of the sudden, his vision blacks out from all the anxiety and panic as he gets knocked out cold.
