Chapter Text
As the lead representative of the company he had to look, think, and act professional at all times. Danny was always stern, and straight to the point. He was only ever about.. You know.. Business. He was making his rounds one day, checking objects off on his checklist, making sure everything was in order basically, but as he turned the corner my guy was immediately STOPPED. Danny had speed-walked into something and tripped over his own foot, landing on the floor. “OWH.. WHAT FUCK IS WRONG WITH-..” Danny looked up to see some REALLY tall man. The man had long, fluffy hair, he looked pretty well built [fml] :( , and smelled like good shampoo. He looked amazing. The man put his hand out “Owh geez i’m really sorry for that man!” The man gripped Danny’s hand and pulled him up “You feelin’ alright bud?” Danny stared at him for a moment and started fiddling with his tie “OHH uhh” He coughed “Yeah i’m fine.. THE HELL.. ahem.. The hell are you doing in the walkway?” Danny brushed off his suit “Oh! I was just taking a little look around.. I got hired yesterday ‘n all.” ‘Oh.’ Danny thought ‘They’re still hiring new employees. God don’t we have enough already.’
The man kept rambling on and on about his life story or some dumb southern crap Danny couldn’t give less of a shit about. ‘I mean, at least they picked a good choice this time..” He looked the man up and down, examining how he looked while trying to make it seem like he was paying attention. The man had on a polo shirt with a loose tie around his neck, He wore a teal visor, one of his front teeth were chipped, his shoes looked worn out to hell and back, and his pants had holes and tears in them. Danny had never seen a man who looked CLOSE to him in these parts of town, especially in the city. Hell, he’d never seen a man like this at all, but there was something about him that just well.. Made Danny’s monkey brain go haywire if you uh.. Cough… get it. Anyways, it had been a couple minutes since Danny had met the guy but he just couldn’t take his eyes off of him. The way he moved, the way he talked, the way he smelled. It all just enthralled Danny. Especially his smell. Danny had lost his sense of smell a long time ago and had been slowly getting it back, going from no smell at all to being able to smell very faint things, But this. Besides the man’s looks it was the only thing he could think about. Which definitely wasn't creepy at ALL. Nope. Not at all.
After a while Danny stopped staring like a fucking idiot and snapped back to it. “Soo what did you say your name was again?” Danny asked the man, still fucking adjusting his GOD DAMN TIE. “Oh! Do uh i have to give you my real name?” The man seemed extremely nervous. “Well, it’s company policy that you do.” “Ah. Well then.. My name is Rusty Hopper, sir!” the man saluted Danny. ‘Rusty. What a beautiful name.’
