Jamie is tired, he stayed up all night after that interview thinking things through. How should he tell Kyle? How would Kyle take it? Had Kyle seen the interview?
He had just admitted he was in love with Kyle on AN INTERVIEW. How stupid can man be?
His thoughts were interrupted when Jeremy began randomly singing, Jeremy wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t as amazing as he thought he was. He also had a problem with everyone else in the band, so it kinda evened out.
“Good morning Jeremy, how did you sleep?” Jamie asked, mostly to stop the singing, it was causing him a headache.
“I slept very well, I can imagine you slept better though” Jeremy answered, when he saw Jamie’s confused look he followed up with “You know with Kyle?”
Jamie could feel his face heat up. “Kyle hasn’t seen the interview” Jeremy just shrugged and began making tea (The only thing he would drink other than water as it was good for his voice or something).
After 10 minutes of not being able to think of anything thing else than “oh no what if Kyle sees the interview” he decides to just go and talk to him. Jamie takes a deep breath before going to Kyle’s room.
“COME IN” Kyle yells when Jamie knocks on the door. The door opens and Kyle is laying in sweatpants looking at Jamie. “What is it?” Asks Kyle, “Uh I just wanted to say good morning, and ask wether or not you have seen yesterday’s interview”.
Kyle shakes his head “I haven’t seen the interview, why? Did you say we aren’t friends? Are we not friends?”
“NO no we are still friends, I care a lot about you” maybe too much he thinks to himself. “But it’s good you haven’t seen it, it just has to do with the whole Kymie thing you know”. He stumbles a bit over his words.
“What has that to do with us? Isn’t that a Kardashian?” Jamie shakes his head “No it’s a ship, which means that fans want two people together in a relationship”.
Kyle looks like he is looking for something in Jamie’s eyes or body language. “So what did you say?”
“Just watch the interview and get back to me, I think that’s the easiest”. And then he leaves.

Jamie is feeling so so nervous, he look down onto his phone with all the pictures he took with Kyle on the vacation. Groaning he puts his face in his pillow. Why did he have to be that dumb about it.
Suddenly the door swings open and Kyle runs in. “You mean it?” He says urgently. “Yeah I do” Jamie says looking away.
He feels a hand on his chin. “Hey look at me” Kyle says as he guides Jamie’s chin so he looks at Kyle. Jamie stiffens a little and can feel his heart beat so fast.
“I like you too, I like you a lot”

Kyle likes him back. Jamie’s face lights up. “Can I kiss you?” Kyle seems a little taken aback but moves in for the kiss anyways.
It’s nice and it’s good and-
The door swings open again “Jamie tell Jason that we aren’t friends” Jacob says. “No he can’t because we are, we do chores for eachother-“ “I do the chores you just put them on me” “we share snacks-“ “no you steal my snacks” “and overall we are great friends” Jason ends the bickering with “isn’t that right Jamie- oh you guys were doing something, apologies for interrupting. Though why Kyle? He isn’t nearly as awesome as I, though I am not into guys, so maybe it’s for the better that it’s Kyle”
Jamie stares at both of them. “Jason, friendships goes both ways. You aren’t all that amazing. Jacob learn to knock or deal with it yourself” Both of them stiffen and walks out the doors, normally Jamie is the patient one so they both decide that their fate is better if they walk out.
Jamie can hear giggles from Kyle who is now leaning on his shoulder. “You are so mean sometimes. Anyways what were you looking at when I came in?” Jamie looks down and gets red. “Uh- just pictures from the vacation and uh the Kymie hashtag on TikTok”.
Kyle hands him his phone. “well then let’s watch some together”
And that’s what they do for the next couple of hours, they watch TikTok, kiss and cuddle. All in all Jamie is no longer nervous, just very happy.
