The Missing Part

Summary:

The Doctor. The Mistress. The Bad Wolf. The Poppet.

The afterglow.

Also, a bit trans-supportive.

Notes:

First, I need to point out a couple of things. This is my universe for the Nineteenth Doctor version. None of the characters have died in the universe I'm creating. Neither has she degenerated into a different body. She has regenerated, but she remains looking a lot like Jodie Whitaker. Also, Missy is still alive. And in my universe, Missy is the Master. And Clara Oswald continues to be her "poppet." Not to mention Rose Tyler is the Doctor's wife. And the four have drawn very close to each other. As a matter of fact, as the first scene in the story implies, very, very, very close.

If you are not in love with the possibility of fanfiction dealing with current topics and events, maybe this one might not be for you. But based on statements made by the man who portrayed the 10th Doctor, too many people David Tennant is a hero. I like to think the doctor is a hero as well, no matter what version they are then or now.

The usual disclaimers. Enjoy...

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

One night in the TARDIS. Specifically, the sleeping quarters of the Doctor and their wife.

The forehead of women laid breathing with a bit of heaviness in the bed. There were soft caresses and kisses all around, a bit of a quiet respite from the rather loud and highly athletic activities of the previous four hours. If pictures from left to right, Clara Oswald, Missy, the Doctor, and Rose Tyler were lazily showing their affection for one another, glad only in two blankets, a couple of bed sheets, and a great deal of perspiration and other bodily excretions. The four had much to accomplish in the next few days, and so they were trying to cram in as much love making as possible before focusing on what was going to happen next. No pun intended in terms of the word "cram."

There was not a lot of talking at that point, although words were definitely not necessary. With the exception of breathing and the sound of moist kisses, the room was quiet.

It was Missy, looking directly at the Doctor, who gently broke the silence.

"Mildred...?"

Neither woman would address the Doctor with their given first name, unless it was something very important.

"Can I ask you something? The Doctor was curious, and a bit nervous as to what was going to be said immediately after that. Especially with the women each loved laying next to them. And then she felt a warm hand gently rub over that part of the doctor's body that got a pretty vigorous workout during the course of the evening.

"Do you miss it?"

The Doctor's response was confusion, a raised eyebrow, and a one-word question: "What..?"

Rose and Clara were stifling giggles, because they knew there paramours and they also knew where the former Master was going with this line of questioning.

"Mildred, my darling, if you remember, you used to refer to it as your " dangling participle." That triggered a loud and lusty laugh from the Doctor, one of the countless reasons Rose initially fell in love with the Time Lord all the way back to when the Bad Wolf was a shop girl, newly paired to a Doctor that looked a lot like that actor on Broadstreet.

"Well, Mistress," turning the table on the older Time Lord, "if you are asking whether I miss being a male, to me it doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is that if I do transform into something else," then Mildred took Rose's hand, which already was tightly caressing the body of the Doctor and said, "My Wolf would be by my side."

"Forever and always." Then Rose guided the Doctor's face towards her own and gently kissed her wife. Clara did the same with Missy.

Time Lords never had a thing for labels. Gallifrians, after all, did not experience "gender" as other species would. They just simply adapted their bodies to the norms of whatever planets they would either travel to or live on. It confused everyone in that bed of how afraid they were of the concept that gender could be fluid, to the point of actually being violent about it. Especially in the last few months in certain places on Earth. The Doctor, the Mistress, the Poppet, and the Wolf had talked about it, and even wept about it for months. In a way, Rose and Clara knew

That their lovers were, for practical purposes, "transgenders," and that people were somehow afraid of that. But as Time Lords themselves (Actually, Rose was now a full-fledged Time Lord, while Clara was in training), they knew that changes were going to pass throughout the planet and the universe, changes that would be positive if people were willing to accept them. But change comes hard to humans, and one of the reasons Time Lords do what they do is to keep civilizations from trying to kill themselves trying to stave off the inevitable.

Anyway, the kissing continued until Mildred, in a very playful mood, suggested "Now as for my 'dangling..participle...'" The rather lusty delivery of the last two words was followed by closed eyes and a quiet concentration, which seconds later led to...the best way to call was a metamorphosis. It started small, then formed, then achieved both length and girth. Roses face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning, but then she saw this before. Missy and Clara, on the other hand, did not, and the amazement on their faces was almost impossible to describe.

"Now..." The Doctor had learned the power of seduction well. "Who's first..?"

Clara excitedly raised her hands like a schoolgirl who knew all the answers, naked breasts popping out of the sheets: "ME! ME!..."

"Don't worry, Clara" replied the Doctor, "you'll have your chance tonight, and Rose has already taken a ride on space mountain many times. But for bringing the whole topic up and getting this ball rolling..." The Doctor looked right into the eyes of Missy, who was noticing that the "dangling participle" continued to expand and harden. And as her eyes widened, knowing what was about to happen, all Missy could do was offer a very pronounced "gulp..."

FINAL THOUGHTS

I hope you enjoyed it. It's been awhile since I actually wrote anything. I have been going through a lot mentally and physically in the last few months. I am just starting to write again. And hopefully, very soon I'll be able to post new chapters of the things that I have already started. Thank you very much for your support and your patience. And a comment or two, along with the likes and kudos that you have been leaving, would be most therapeutic. Again, thank you.
