Work Text:

Cam let out a weary sigh as he observed the obnoxious behavior of the intoxicated teenagers surrounding him. Parties had never been his cup of tea, but he reluctantly attended this one solely because of Belly, hoping for some quality time together. However, he couldn't help but notice that she appeared disinterested in his company, leaving him feeling like an outsider in a gathering that held little appeal for him.

Cam's brooding was interrupted by a scene that caught his attention like a sudden jolt. There, perched on the counter, was Jeremiah Fisher. He was engaged in an intense make-out session with yet another person. Cam blinked in disbelief, realizing that this was the third individual he had witnessed Jeremiah locking lips with that night. Cam observed the scene before him. The stranger engaging in the make-out session with Jeremiah was notably larger and older, his aggression palpable as his hand tightened around Jeremiah's throat. Cam's instincts told him to intervene, but he quickly averted his eyes, not wanting to look like a creep. Although it was hard to ignore when a couple of minutes later, the stranger was leading Jeremiah upstairs. Cam would've ignored them, if not for the fact that Jeremiah looked absolutely wasted while the stranger leading him upstairs appeared to be sober. Now determined, Cam set his drink down and bee lined to the stairs.

Cam plastered on a warm but cautious smile as he tapped Jeremiah on the shoulder, prompting him to turn around. Jeremiah turned, his expression lighting up with a dazed grin as he let go of the stranger's hand, instead choosing to hug Cam, or more accurately, fall into his arms.

"Cam... Cam Cameron!" Jeremiah exclaimed with a slurred voice. Cam struggled to steady himself under the sudden weight, but he managed a smile nonetheless.

"Hey, Jeremiah. You good?" Cam asked, his voice laced with concern. He silently assessed the older male, who was now glaring at him.

Jeremiah didn't respond. Which worried Cam even more.

"Hey you're kind of interrupting us man." The stranger said harshly. Cam resisted the urge to glare and plastered on a fake smile.

"I think Jeremiah's done for tonight. We'll be heading home." Cam said as calmly as possible. The stranger rolled his eyes dismissively, begrudgingly relenting and backing away, allowing Cam to guide Jeremiah towards the exit.

Jeremiah let out a tipsy giggle, his words slightly slurred as he spoke. "So, Cam... you're gonna take me home tonight," he said, punctuating his statement with a playful wink. Cam's face turned crimson, caught off guard by Jeremiah's flirtatious remark. Flustered, he quickly responded, trying to clarify the situation.

"Not like that! I mean... I'll take you home, but not in that way," Cam stuttered, embarrassment flooding his voice. Jeremiah just giggled. Cam sighed as he realized he had a long night ahead of him. He ushered Jeremiah to the car and buckled him in. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna say bye to Belly." Cam assured. He gently closed the door and rushed inside.

He spotted her amongst the crowd and approached, his expression serious. "Hey Belly, I'm gonna drive Jeremiah home, he's really wasted." Cam explained. Belly's eyes widened and she nodded in understanding.

"Thank you Cam, take care of him and make sure he gets home safe. I'll just get a ride from Conrad." She replied, gratitude in her voice.

With that out of the way, Cam swiftly made his way back to the car. As he got behind the wheel, he cast a glance to Jeremiah, who was now reclined in his seat, eyes glazed with intoxication. Cam pulled out of the driveway and drove through the quiet streets, the only sound breaking the silence being Jeremiah's incoherent drunken ramblings. Suddenly, Jeremiah leaned towards Cam, his breath heavy with the smell of liquor, and a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Cam, my man." Jeremiah slurred, his words punctuated by a light giggle. "You know you're like... really hot, right? Like I never noticed before, but damn." Cam responded with a soft chuckle. He lightly nudged Jeremiah away.

"Thanks, but let's focus on getting you home safely." Cam stated responsibly. Jeremiah pouted in response. Leaning in close, he positioned his lips next to Cam's ear, his voice dripping with seduction.

"Don't be like that... You know you want to have some fun with me," he whispered provocatively. Cam couldn't help but burst into surprised laughter, caught off guard by Jeremiah's audacious remark. He playfully nudged Jeremiah's shoulder, maintaining a light-hearted tone.

"You're quite the charmer, but my heart belongs to Belly," Cam responded with a smile, emphasizing his loyalty to his girlfriend.

"You know I don't mind a little friendly competition," Jeremiah replied, winking. Cam snorted, shaking his head in amused disbelief.

"You're too much, man. You know that?" Cam exclaimed, a mix of exasperation and fondness in his voice. Jeremiah grinned in response, his smile radiant.

"I've been told that once or twice," he replied.

The remainder of the ride passed in relative silence, with Cam fully focused on the road ahead and Jeremiah appearing to be in a state of rest. However, the tranquility was abruptly shattered when Jeremiah's flirty voice pierced the air. "Cam?" Jeremiah whined, fluttering his long lashes in a seemingly innocent manner. Cam's attention was momentarily diverted from the road.

"Hmm?" he responded, his concentration broken. Then, to his absolute horror, Jeremiah's words tumbled out.

"Can I... suck you off?" Cam's reaction was swift and extreme, slamming the brakes with a screech as he turned to Jeremiah, his face contorted in shock.

"WHAT!?" he exclaimed, his voice laced with disbelief and alarm. Jeremiah's laughter erupted instantaneously, filling the car with its infectious sound.

"I'm kidding! You should've seen your face!" he yelled, his amusement evident as he clutched his sides, struggling to contain his glee. Cam's initial shock gradually dissolved into a mix of relief and exasperation, his own lips twitching into a reluctant smile. Attempting to regain his composure, he narrowed his eyes in a half-hearted glare.

"That was not funny!" Cam exclaimed, his voice betraying a hint of frustration. However, Jeremiah continued to laugh unabashedly, finding amusement in the situation.

"It so was!" he managed to reply through his fits of laughter. Cam shook his head, a mixture of amusement and mild annoyance crossing his face.

"I should just leave you on the side of the road, you almost made me crash my car!" he retorted, feigning anger while secretly relishing in the lighthearted banter between them. Jeremiah made an effort to subdue his laughter.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I'll stop," he pleaded, a hint of sincerity in his voice. However, as soon as Jeremiah glanced at Cam, his laughter erupted once more, rendering his apology futile. Cam responded with a playful roll of his eyes, his amusement evident, and resumed driving.

Jeremiah's giggles continued softly as Cam guided the car into the driveway of the summer house. "You alright to go in on your own?" Cam inquired, his concern evident in his voice. Jeremiah nodded, his movements clumsy as he opened the car door and stumbled out. As he was about to close the door, he paused and leaned his head back in, delivering a final flirtatious remark.

"By the way, the offer still stands. Give me a call if you're feeling lonely," Jeremiah teased, winking mischievously. With that, he swiftly closed the door and made a hasty retreat toward the house. Cam couldn't help but roll his eyes, laughter bubbling from within. He honked the car horn twice in jest before pulling away from the driveway, a sense of contentment settling over him. Despite his earlier complaints, Cam couldn't deny that he was glad he attended the party.
