Deep in a forest, on a normal day, Sui is helping Mukouda clean the plates after breakfast. Uncle Fel was sleeping after their breakfast so it was just the two of them bonding and doing their usual chores after the meal. It was peaceful and Sui was content. After finishing his chores, he moved to
“Sui, come here for a moment,” Mukouda called out to Sui after he put away the last plate into his item box.
“Yes, mama?”
“Do you know what Father's day is?” Moukouda asked.
Sui just shook her body and made a question mark shape. I don’t understand mama .
“Well, remember the previous time you baked me something with your friends to celebrate mother’s day?”He said. Mentioning the previous time they celebrated mother’s day. Mukouda was overjoyed with the gift from Sui but Fel had his own idea on how to celebrate it and he could barely sit without feeling a sharp shooting pain on his bottom for a week. His cheeks flushed red at the thought and quickly diverted his attention and thought back to Sui.
Sui suddenly jumped up and down and said, Oh I know mama! It is a celebration for father and to show our appreciation to our father right?
“That’s right, Sui is so smart,” Mukouda praised Sui. Sui was overjoyed and loved being praised. “Sui, tomorrow I have plans to celebrate father’s day. Mama plans to cook something special for Fel and mama needs Sui to distract papa until dinner time. Can you do that?” Mukouda was now used to referring to himself as mama when speaking with Sui but unfortunately, he almost let it slip when speaking in public several times.
Yes, Sui can do that! Leave it to Sui!
“Then tomorrow, after lunch, Fel said that he wanted to explore a dungeon he found recently. Will you go with just the two of you tomorrow? This will give mama time to prepare the special dishes for tomorrow's dinner. Can you do that Sui?”
Leave it to Sui! Sui wants to spend time with papa too! Sui looked at Mukouda with a heart feeling.
“Sui is such a good child,” Mukouda praised them. Mukouda hoped tomorrow's plan will go well. Although he was still worried that they might take this opportunity to compete with each other to test their ability and power. But maybe it will be fine once in a while. After he threatened Fel if he was to harm Sui there would be consequences. He had tamed down and rarely asked Sui into a match to see who was better and they only limited the competition to hunting beast and meat. Obviously, Fel always came out as the winner but sometimes he would let Sui do it by themself and taught him the proper ways to eliminate a monster.

The next day, Mukouda started his plan after lunch time. Fel was telling Mukouda that he wanted to explore the dungeon he found the day before. Mukouda sternly rejects Fel's offer and threatens him with no dinner. Fel looked upset at the threat but let it go and looked at Sui who was jumping up and down with excitement. Apparently Sui wanted to join Fel hunting monsters in the dungeon too.
Sui wants to go pew pew too! Can I go with papa? Sui wants to explore the dungeon as well!
Fel smirked and said proudly, “Of course you can tag along, I still haven’t taught you some of my secret techniques for defeating various types of monsters. This time we will be hunting a monster that lived in a dungeon in the mountains. They have skin that resembles the shade of rocks..,” Fel explained as they walked away.
Mukouda watched them for a few minutes before deciding they were far enough. He pulled up some ingredients and started preparing for the special dinner celebration. He started humming as he cooked and hoped Sui and Fel were doing fine.
Meanwhile Sui and Fel have arrived at the dungeon. It looked bigger than the dungeon they went to where Sui gained the ability to talk through telepathy.
“Now Sui, this dungeon is more volatile and older than the dungeon we went to before. There will be monsters you have never encountered before and some are smart and sneaky. I will guide you through the one you need to watch out for. But considering how you are nowadays I doubt I will need to taught you much, you have grown stronger Sui”
Sui beamed at the praises. He had been training his abilities with mama and papa and considering all the battles and missions they had gone through before, clearing a dungeon is just a walk in the breeze.
Got it! Sui will shoot any enemies in sight before they even get to Sui!
“That’s the spirit, now let's go!”

Mukouda was almost done with the preparation when he got a bad feeling. He wonders why. Did something happen to Sui and Fel? He wonders. But after a few seconds he brushed it off and continued cooking. This is Fel and Sui, surely nothing bad would happen to them in the dungeon right?
Right?

Sui was lost. That much was obvious. They were tricked by a mischievous monster that caused them to hallucinate and lured their enemy into a trap.. Sui only realized it after the fake Fel started acting weird but it was too late for Sui. He managed to defeat the enemy but he was lost and somehow his telepathic couldn’t reach papa. Could it be that they were too far apart?
Daijobu! Sui will just keep moving forward instead until Sui finds papa!
With that Sui moved on forward.
Meanwhile Fel knew he was in big trouble. He can’t feel Sui's presence anymore and his telepathic message could only reach so far but Sui hasn't answered any of his calls. He tried to remember when he noticed Sui wasn't following him anymore. This dungeon is more complicated than the previous dungeon. And he might have put too much faith in Sui and now he lost them. Mukouda won’t be pleased. Fel had to choose either to go back or go forward and hope he would find Sui somewhere along the way. He decided to trust Sui and moved forward but not before leaving a trail of marks with his magical signature on the cave wall. Sui should be able to recognize his magic signature and follow the trail he left behind for them.

Hm? This feels like papa magic!
Sui has defeated countless enemies when they notice papa's magic signature. He noticed a similar one along the path and followed it. There were barely any monsters left, probably because they were defeated by papa. Sui followed the trail of magic signatured with ease until they arrived at an open area. A rare monster awaits them. Sui was wondering where did papa go but Sui was also excited to test his skill against such monsters. It looks similar to the lizard monster that papa defeated before. But slightly different. This lizard didn’t have the glow the previous lizard does but they look quite strong. Sui decided to use his acid skill. They have confidence that their skill will kill the lizard with one shot. But they were mistaken.
Eh??The lizard was barely hurt??
Sui was confused as to why his skill isn’t working. The lizard took that moment to launch a counter attack. Sui managed to avoid it and launched another acid shot. But it only makes the lizard more angry. .
Uuu…why isn’t my attack working?
Just when Sui’s despair felt worse, Papa sent him some advice through telepathic.
Don’t despair! Stay strong! The stomach of a lizard is the most fragile part but since you aren’t able to reach there, keep shooting acid at their hide. The hide of the lizard won’t be able to hold the acid attack for long before it starts eating away his hide and eventually your attack will get through. You can do it, Sui. I know you can.
Sui followed his papa's advice and kept shooting acid at the lizard. Eventually the consistent acid attack wore the lizard out. Sui used those opportunities to keep attacking and eventually the acid went through the hard skin of the lizard and effectively killed it.
Sui cheered in joy as the lizard was effectively killed. It was then that Fel comes out from his hiding and compliments Sui.
Papa!! You were there all along?
“I’ve been waiting for you nearby. The lizard didn’t notice me because I hid my presence. I want to see if you can surpass the monster and you did. You did great Sui, well done”
Yay~ papa complimented me. Sui was happy to be complimented. He has fun spending time with just papa. But he started missing his mama cooking.
Papa, I'm hungry…
“Well, so am I. Let’s head out and return before Mukouda nagged me again for coming back late”

“OH NOW YOU’RE SORRY??? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRY I AM??? YOU WERE GONE FOR LONGER THAN USUAL!!!YOU COULD BE LOST OR HURT FOR ALL I KNOW I DON'T CARE IF YOU’RE A LEGENDARY BEAST YOU HAD ME WORRIED FOR HOURS! YOU’RE LUCKY SUI IS UNHARMED OR ELSE”
Fel sat in front of Mukouda who was scolding him for returning late. It was almost midnight by the time they arrived at the spot where a very angry Mukouda was waiting for them. Sui escaped unscathed while Fel had to take all the blame. Mukouda was honestly upset with Fel not only because he ruined his surprise, but also because he returned back late. It was almost midnight and Father’s day is ending soon. Once Mukouda was done scolding Fel, he set up the table for dinner with some help from Sui and a dejected Fel who was forced to sit still and not allowed to move until Mukouda said otherwise.
Mukousa turned to Sui and winked. Fel's late return might have ruined his mood a bit but he wants Sui to be able to celebrate father’s day before the day ends. Mukouda told Sui to cover Fel eyes as he took out the food from his item box and set it all on the table. He had make Mu
Once everything was ready he gave Sui the cue to let Fel go.
“Happy Father’s day '' Mukouda said while holding a cake. He could have bought a cake from the net supermarket but it didn't feel right. Since he didn’t have an oven he ended up making steamed chocolate cake.
It’s a cake to celebrate father’s day! To celebrate papa! Sui yelled excitedly.
Fel looked stunned for a moment.. He was actually confused as to what that meant but it seems like they are celebrating him? The thought of that somehow warmed Fel. And it looks like Mukouda might have forgiven him if the wide smile is any indication. His face flushed as he mumbled a thank you.
Mukouda smirked and leaned forward to place a kiss on his snout. “Happy father’s day Fel~”
