"Good morning witches and demons alike, it's another average day in the new boiling Isles, the sea is scorching hot as usual, as for any interesting news, we just found signs of a bright star heading in our direction, looks like the Collector might be paying us another visit today.... uh, yeah, that's it. Um... oh and it's nearly the 5 year anniversary of the day Luz Noceda, the human first stepped foot in the Boiling Isles, still trying to come up with a name for that day..."
"Can we end this stream now? I've run out of things to say."
Luz Noceda opened her window, the sun was rising above the boiling sea in the distance, she smiled as she said "Wow, every time I wake up I get to see this great view, they were nice to give us the best room in the entire building don't you think Amity?"
She turned to see her girlfriend Amity, who was also her college roomate, still fast asleep in bed. Luz smiled as she walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek. Amity slowly opened her eyes to look at the face of Luz.
"Good morning Blight." Luz said with a grin. Amity smiled and said "Hey Luz... what time is it? I'm too tired right now." Luz hopped onto Amity's bed and wrapped her arms around her saying "Oh come on Ami, it's time to go and learn some wild magic that's what time it is."
Amity groaned a little bit but then started to chuckle as she said "Oh I can never resist that face of yours, alright let's go."
Luz and Amity both got up and got themselves dressed. Luz got on her scroll to see some messages that were sent to her from Eda.
"Hey kid, you up yet? Remember that I'm the one in charge of this place now so I'll always know whenever your late for a class."
"I'm up Eda, don't worry about it. Me and Amity are on our way to class right now."
"Hehe, alright. Have a good time."
"By the way, what's King been up to lately?"
"Oh King? Heh, the little guy is still growing, his titan powers have been getting stronger as time goes on, who knows what he'll be able to do by then."
"Tell King I said hi."
Later, Luz and Amity got out of their dorm room and traveled down the hall together. They were met by several witches who greeted them. She soon heard the voice of someone familiar. "Hey Luz, hey Amity, how's it going?" Luz turned around to see Gus.
"Gus! How's the whole human realm/demon realm exchange program been going so far?" Amity asked. Gus smiled and said "Oh it's going smoothly, I've been met by lots of witches who want to know everything about the world you're from Luz." Luz smiled and said "Yeah, they're probably incredibly curious about the world I came from after I defeated Belos."
Gus nodded and said "Well, gotta go, see you girls later." As he left, Amity and Luz soon arrived at their first class, their first class was one they were taking together, abomination engineering, now while they don't take exactly the same classes together, they still spend the majority of the day together.
Even though it had been 4 years since she had saved the boiling isles from Belos who had threatened to exterminate the witches off the face of the planet, Luz could still hardly believe she was here, it was hard to believe that she actually wasn't living in a fantasy and she was actually here, living in the demon realm studying wild magic alongside her amazing girlfriend Amity, yes she still does go to visit the human realm to meet her mother Camila and her sister Vee, for the most part Luz feels at home in the demon realm studying magic and making her own future.
Luz made sure to memorize every single glyph combination that she could, in order to make sure she was on track with everything, and whenever she had no work to catch up on she would spend her free time trying to create brand new glyph combinations, the possible glyph combinations that exist are unlimited, who knows what crazy spells she could discover?
And fairly recently, not long into the start of their first year of college, Alador was able to use his sigil remover glove to remove everyone's sigil that Belos had marked them all with when he established the coven system to weaken the witches so they wouldn't be powerful enough to stop him. The witches were finally free of everything Belos had tainted the boiling isles with. There hasn't been any danger every since Belos was defeated. Life couldn't be better for everyone.
During the curses 101 class, Luz looked over at Amity who was busy trying to figure out how to erase a curse from a small seed. She smiled and asked "You doing good Amity?" Amity then said "Luz, please don't try and distract me by flirting, this isn't the time for that." Luz replied "Oh don't worry about it, I've managed to create glyph that can lift curses." Amity looked at it and said "Luz, isn't this cheating?" Luz chuckled and said "Amity, there's a whole class here that is dedicated to learning new ancient glyphs and combos, I'm sure they'll be fine with this."
Amity smiled and took the glyph and activated it, it emitted a bright white glow as it enveloped the seed in its energy as the curse was lifted. "Wow, impressive Luz." Amity said. Luz put her hand on Amity's shoulder and asked with a grin "Oh were you doubting me Blight?" Amity smirked and replied "Oh not even for a second Luz." As she looked at Luz and kissed her.
Later, that day, the couple soon went to go have some lunch, but unfortunately none of what's on the menu is something Luz can actually eat, usually because some of the food has literal eyeballs on it, so whenever there's a lunch break, Luz and Amity go to meet with Gus as he hands Luz a meal that he picked up from the human realm.
Both Luz and Amity sat together on a balcony on one of the upper levels where they quietly had lunch together. Suddenly, Luz got a notification on her scroll, she turned it on to see that she got a message from Hunter.
"LUZ! I NEED HELP! WILLOW JUST ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE!"
"Willow asked you out?! Way to go Hunter!!"
"NO THIS ISN'T THE TIME FOR CELEBRATIONS! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??"
"Ok ok, calm down man. You're worrying to much, if you're worried about being around Willow, I'll just let you know that Willow is one of the kindest friends I've ever known, you don't have anything to worry about, she's a very patient witch, I'm sure you'll do just fine."
Amity looked over to Luz and said "Hey, Luz? I want to ask you something." Luz faced her and said "Sure, what is it babe?" Amity replied "Ever since Belos was defeated, everything has kind of been the same, with occasional visits from the Collector of course, but other than that though, that's it."
Luz gave Amity a puzzled look as she asked "What's your point?" Amity replied "My point is, I don't know what exactly it is that we're hoping to achieve, we got rid of the coven system, the boiling isles is back to the way it once was years ago, where do the witches go from here?" Luz remained silent as she thought for a moment.
"Well, there is the possibility of revealing this worlds existence to the humans, Gus has been trying to achieve that with his whole human/demon realm exchange program, maybe one day that might happen." Amity replied "I'd like to hope for that, but seeing what kind of horrible person Belos was, it has me worried about everyone else..."
Luz smiled and said "Oh don't worry Ami, Belos was literally a 400 year old boomer from the 1600's, humans have evolved way beyond that time, nobody is like him anymore, you'll find humans to be way more likable now than they were back then." Amity replied "Well, as long as the humans keep making good movies I'll believe that."
Luz chuckled in response before saying "Oh speaking of movies, Gus managed to retrieve this from the human realm, guess what just got released on DVD!" She pulled out a DVD case of Christopher Nolan's latest film Oppenheimer. Amity was surprised to see it as she replied "No way! That movie?! We're totally watching that tonight!" Luz nodded in agreement and said "Glad we can since Gus managed to obtain a DVD player and a TV screen from the human realm for us as well. I'll be looking forward to tonight mi amor."
Amity blushed slightly from that, every time Luz flirts with her in Spanish it gets her all flustered every time! Luz is literally her dream girl. And to think that she had actually tried to have Luz expelled when she first met her. "Ok hot stuff, flirt all you want, one day I'll find a way to overpower you." Luz laughed and said "Oh Ami, I love you." She then pulled Amity in for a kiss.
Later that day, Amity was busy doing some work in her room, she was trying to figure out the proper glyph combinations, she sighed after many failed attempts as she laid back in her chair. She looked up at all the memory photos of Luz as she looked at the only photo she had of when Luz had obtained the powers of the Titan himself to take on Belos.
Unfortunately the only image she could get was out of focus, so she really couldn't see Titan Luz clearly, but oh how she wished she could have been there to see her girlfriend flying through the sky and taking on Belos like a Goddess. Maybe some day if she ever stumbles upon one of those time travel ponds she'll get the chance.
Luz soon approached Amity and said "Well I've pretty much got all my homework wrapped up, how about you?" Amity sighed and said "Homework sucks Luz." Luz smirked and replied "Yeah, I can relate, I see your looking at some of those photos huh?" Amity nodded and said "Yeah, I really wish I could see that one more clearly, you know, the one where you became a Titan hybrid and fought Belos like a badass. It sucks that I missed out on that."
Luz blushed a bit as she remembered her time as a half-Titan, it was quite the experience having the power of a god inside her, and she could only imagine how Amity would have reacted if she had seen her then, but unfortunately as the Titan had told her, those powers were only temporary, and they were gone as soon as the Titan's spirit had completely faded, so she would never have the chance to show Amity.
Luz shook the feeling away as she said "Don't worry about it Ami bear. Besides, not like I was actually gonna need those Titan powers for anything else later, I already know how to do magic, I don't need a bile sack to do it. I've already got everything I want in life, sure, being a half-Titan is cool and all, and maybe I do miss being a Titan somewhat, but I'm totally fine with who I am right now."
Amity looked at Luz and asked "But if you could get those powers back somehow, would you take it?" Luz thought for a moment. "I guess, I mean... I would probably do it just to see how you'd react." She said with a flirtatious tone, which made Amity blush. "Gaah! Luz you can be such a goof sometimes you know that?!" Luz chuckled and said "I know, I'm your goof."
Amity sighed and said "Oh you're to cute to be mad at, you know what? Homework can wait." She stood up to give Luz a passionate kiss on the lips, Luz smiled and happily kissed back, the two kept it going for a moment before looking into each other's eyes, Luz smiled and asked "So, you wanna watch Oppenheimer now?" Amity smiled and replied "I'd love too, mi amor." Luz chuckled and said "Heh, you're learning my tricks now I see."
The two girls sat together in bed as they watched the film, they spent all night enjoying the film, one of the things that blew them away was seeing how Christopher Nolan was actually able to recreate the first atomic explosion properly without using any CGI stuff. "I swear, how does this man do these kinds of things??" Amity asked. Luz shrugged and said "Well there's always behind the scenes content to explain it all."
As the girls finished the movie, they decided that it was time for bed now. They both got changed as they got into their individual beds, but Amity chose to cuddle with Luz instead. Despite having separate beds, they always make sure to sleep in the same one. Amity wrapped her arms around Luz as she smiled and said "Good night mi amor." Amity purred in response as the couple fell asleep. Luz had another long day of learning more magic to look forward to tomorrow.
As the little one's strength grows, the Half-Titan will rise once again, and she will be ready for whatever dares to threaten her home. Luz, hear me, your brother has finally become powerful enough to provide you with the energy necessary to restore what you lost, the time has come, the Half-Titan rises again.
"Wh-what? What's going on? Who's there?"
Do not be afraid Luz, you've fought great evil with those gifts before, now you have the chance to do so once again now that your brother has at long last grown strong enough to provide the energy necessary to give it back its magic. Be strong Luz, for you can finally be the witch you've always wanted to become in life.
"What are you saying? I don't understand..."
The next morning was a rough one, Luz laid there on the bed, usually she feels incredibly energetic every morning, but this time she felt absolutely wasted. "Ugh... what kind of dream did I have last night? Did someone perform some sort of Inception on me or something?" She mumbled.
Luz slowly reached for the light glyph she had set on the counter next to her and pressed it to get some light on in her room, she instantly shielded her eyes for they hadn't adjusted to the light. She slowly stepped out of bed, her eyes feeling incredibly heavy. But that wasn't all, she looked towards the floor and couldn't help but noticed she seemed a little taller than usual, but she felt way to tired to pay it any mind.
"Why do I feel so weird?" She mumbled as she approached her drawer to get dressed, she grabbed a comb to brush her hair, but as she brushed, she felt something weird, her hair seemed longer. "What the..." She wondered as she reached for it, she was incredibly surprised to see that her hair was now way longer than before "How'd my hair suddenly grow so fast-"
Before she could finish that sentence, she noticed her hand as it moved through her long hair, there was something really different about it, it looked like she had white claws for fingers, now this definitely woke her up. "What the hell??" She wondered, she quickly looked at herself in the mirror and gasped at the sight of herself. Her body was all covered in fur, she had small fangs, She was Half-Titan again!
"AAAAAAHHH!!! WHAT THE HECK!!? I'M ALL FLUFFY!!!" She screamed. Her screams woke Amity up. "No no no no no NO!!! I don't understand!! Why are my Titan powers back?!!" She said as she examined herself in fear. When Luz heard Amity wake up, she started to freak out. "Oh shit... uh..." She mumbled as she tried to find a way to hide, she quickly grabbed an invisibility glyph and held her breath as she activated it, turning completely invisible.
Amity rubbed her eyes a bit as she sat up and looked around "Luz? What's going on? I heard screaming." Luz did not reply. "Luz? Come on, where are you?" Luz tried hard to hold her breath so the spell wouldn't wear off, but it was getting really hard, and Amity was still looking for her. "I don't understand, how is this happening?? This can't be happening to me! I can't possibly be a Titan again!" Luz thought to herself.
Soon her breath ran out as she let the air out, causing her to appear, she gasped as she quickly turned around and ran to the corner of the room. "Luz? Are you alright?" Amity asked, worried for her girlfriend. Luz remained silent, she only let out faint whimpers like she was scared.
Amity slowly approached her and asked "Babe, please. If there's something wrong, you can tell me, just look at me, I'm right here." Luz opened her eyes as she heard Amity speaking to her, her voice bringing her some comfort despite the situation she was in. She wiped a small tear away and asked "Ami, I- I don't know what's happening to me... I know what I've become, but I don't know why."
Amity raised out her hand and asked "Why don't you stand up and show me." Luz sighed and slowly got up from the floor and slowly turned around again to face Amity. As for Amity, she was faced with the sight of her girlfriend, who now looked different from before, oh Titan she was not as ready as she thought she was.
Standing in front of her was the most beautiful girl she had ever seen. Long and fluffy purplish brown hair, similarly fluffy black fur running along Luz's body, gold eyes on black that shined like the sun. Large horns sprouted from her head and her fingertips ended in claws, and a fang protruded from her mouth.
As Amity saw what Luz had become, she began to blush, her face began to turn all crimson red, she felt like she might pass out in a moment. "Woah... uh- uh...." She stuttered. Luz then said "Yeah, I know I probably look weird don't I- wait, Amity are you ok? AMITY?!" She started to worry as she watched Amity nearly faint. She quickly ran over to her and caught her. Amity found herself in Luz's arms and looked up to see her slightly altered face due to the changes she now had.
"Woah.... p-pretty." She mumbled. Luz sighed as she smiled, knowing that Amity wasn't afraid, she shook away the fear as she decided to take advantage of this. "Heh, you like what you see Ami?" Amity was speechless, she felt like she might implode right now at the sight of Luz. She finally was able to form words as she said "Uh... so is this that Titan form you took when you fought Belos?" Luz nodded.
"Woah... uh, you look hot- AAAH! I- I meant to say you look... uh..." Luz smirked as she watched Amity struggle to form sentences because she couldn't stop looking at Luz's new look. She sighed as she said "Ok, I give up.'' Luz chuckled, she then said "Looks like I just exposed another weakness of yours Blight." Amity couldn't stop blushing. She was feeling way to enthusiastic about Luz's titan form, she'd always imagined what her girlfriend had looked like with her Titan powers, and now here that version of her was right in front of her.
Luz then looked down at her claws and asked "I don't get it though, how have my Titan powers returned? The Titan told me the powers he gave me would only last as long as his soul would once he gave all his power to me, and once his soul faded, so did the powers, these powers can't exist without the presence of the Titan's spirit to maintain them! So how can I possibly have these powers?! It doesn't make sense!"
Amity quickly approached Luz and held her hands firmly as she said "Luz, calm down. Look at me, whatever it is that caused you to change into your titan form again, we'll figure it out together, alright?" Luz looked at Amity and nodded, she then gave Amity a tight hug as she said "Oh what would I do without you mi amor." Amity smiled and hugged back, and she was amazed at just how comfy Luz now felt with all the added fur she now had on her body.
"Holy Titan, her fur is so soft!" She thought to herself. "Uh, Amity? You can let go now." Amity refused as she said "I can't help it Luz, your fur is too soft!" Luz sighed and said to herself "This may take a while..."
Soon Amity let go of Luz as Luz asked "Now what do we do?" Amity thought for a moment before saying "Maybe we should go talk to Eda in her office, I'm sure she'll know what to do." Luz nodded in agreement as she said "Sure, let's go." Luz quickly took another invisibility glyph so she'll be able to get through the halls without drawing too much attention to herself, she wouldn't want everyone in the building to freak out over her sudden transformation.
"Alright, let's go." Amity said as they exited the room.
