All my life I longed for
A place that I could call home
Now everywhere is my home
Each piece of cobble on the streets
Every inch of the starless sky above the city
And when I look at my ceiling
It's dark
It's darker yet darker
I remember falling asleep next to you
Waking up in the middle of the night
I couldn't move because
I had my arm stuck under yours
Now the whole world is a nest just for me
And as I lie down on my bed
It's cold
It's colder yet colder
You found somewhere to belong
So my heart belongs there too
And when the sky falls I can't be with you
But I'll become a part of you
And in the dark the soul makes its choice
It was a good run all in all
But now
It's over it's over
But my choices don't matter
And options are just an illusion
