Hyoudou Issei felt tears fall onto his tablet as he worked on the piece of art that held all his love, faith, and devotion to his oshi.
Kiryu Coco.
Her graduation was still fresh in his mind as her final stream ended just hours ago. The feelings it brought motivated him to send her off with his best art yet!
Her final karaoke stream echoed throughout his room and served as background noise as he drew on his tablet.
Memories flashed as he gave it his all.
When he watched her debut on that cold December day nearly two years ago. She was his first VTuber and was the one who dragged him into such a wondrous world.
Thanks to her he started taking his English lessons much more seriously.
Then her 3d model debut. He remembered fondly as bountiful oppai was had that day.
Then there was… her suspension. Those three weeks was torture.
He had wanted to give her a welcome-back gift… but he had no money. So he turned to art… and he was surprisingly really good at it. She even liked his art on Twitter! So he kept at it finding he enjoyed it a lot. He loved drawing oppai and many people enjoyed his art! He truly met his people.
Then she announced her hiatus. He was devastated and took comfort from the other members of Hololive and his horizons opened up. Kaichou would always be his oshi and the closest to his heart… even if Senchou was a close second. She was one of his people after all.
Gura was in the running as well despite her lack of oppai, she was a very cute shark after all. He also remembered Matsuda smugly declaring he was coming around to the pettan side. The fool! He loved all oppai big or small!
Then Kaichou returned and he was overjoyed.
For Christmas, he got a drawing tablet as a gift from his parents since they were happy he found something he was so passionate about. His art only evolved once he had access to digital art.
Then he got his first request and learned he could make money from his art.
He could finally send a superchat to his oshi!
He dived into commissions like a man thirsting for water.
He then shed tears of joy as she read his first supa and said she was proud he got into his dream school.
The next few months were a wondrous time… but it wouldn’t last. She announced her graduation and it came crashing down.
…But he would heed her words, he would laugh till the very end!
He snapped out of his trance as he put on the final touch with a flourish.
He sniffled loudly and a flood of tears spilled forth as he looked on at his art.
Kaichou's smiling visage as she said goodbye one final time.
It was a masterpiece… It was so beautiful that he could barely believe that he had created it with his own hands.
It would be sacrilegious to say it was a simple piece of art. He made it with all the love and devotion he could elevating it to that of religious iconography!
He felt it would be the greatest send-off he could muster.
"Goodbye… Coco," he said softly into the dark room.
Something within burst free and he felt arms wrap gently around him. A familiar voice whispered, "Goodbye… motherfucker."
It was gone as quickly as it arrived… but for that moment he felt her comfort him and so Issei cried out, "Kaichou!!!"
After sobbing for a few minutes he wipes his face of snot and tears and uploads his art to the usual places. Within seconds he sees a sea of comments pop up showing he is not alone in the way he feels.
Hearts, tears, salutes, and many 'goodbye motherfuckers' speed by.
His heart filled with warmth as the comments poured in.
With a small smile, Issei wipes his eyes of tears once more. Not tears of sadness but of comradery. With every beat of his heart, he can feel their shared faith and devotion swelling.
With a lighter heart, he shut off his computer and headed to bed. His eyes shut close as he hugged his Coco daki. He then mumbled as he slipped into blissful sleep, "Good night… Kaichou."
That night he dreamt of flying through the skies while riding atop a dragon.
A.N. Alright this is a stupid idea I came up with that may be the result of playing too much Holocure. First of all, this is an AU with two major changes and a couple of minor ones that will be brought up later. The first is pretty obvious I’m moving the year in which canon starts so Hololive is a thing and the second,
I’m changing Issei’s Sacred Gear.
It is one of my own creations… and well I feel it honestly fits him better than the Boosted Gear.

Faith Caller - The user can summon echoes of powers, items, and figures from myths, legends, and religions by tapping into their personal faith and the faith they inspire in others.
Normally this Sacred Gear works best with priests given they are faithful and inspire others to be faithful… but well Issei is going to Issei. So instead of his abilities and summons being tied to a religion Issei’s are tied to… VTubers.
