Chapter Text
Amidst the pitch black everlasting seas of the empyrean void — the insurmountable realm of the Gods — the Deity of Chaos managed to breach in straight from Their Tartarus abode, spurred by the desire to more effectively disseminate and play with the inharmoniousness in the human world.
It isn't known for sure how They did it — although it is certain that Their cleverness, strife and, surely, trickery played a major role in it. It is said that it must’ve had something to do with some sort of bet which They persuaded the Warrior Goddess of Harmony and Concord (a.k.a She-ra ) into, Her gift of peace to mankind, and whether or not the silly mortals were even worthy of it.
Nevertheless, the scion of Nix went to the rostrum where Etheria laid rest — completely oblivious to Their approach — and announced to the zodiac surrounding Them, with an athirst glance, as they scrutinized the infinitesimal and defenseless figure of the planet. “Gather up, gather up my beauties! It’s a brand new day and the mortal world is at peace. . . but not for long.”
They leaned over one of the faces of the azure globe, Their slender frame casting a shadow as it went, “Just look at them. Poor little bastards. All I have to do is pull one meager thread and their whole world unravels into chaos”. They tugged and snapped said thread as They spoke, words punctuated by a delighted chuckle soaring from the deep ends in Their throat. “Glorious Chaos”.
While They pondered over it, something on the orb’s surface caught Their attention then.
“Oooohhhhh, what’s this? A noble royal captain, a priceless treasure, and a black-hearted thief. What could be more perfect than this?” They moaned with a grin spreading over Their lime green complexion, cunning sharp teeth glinting in elation, as a mischievous plan began taking form in Their mind.
“Oh, this is going to be sooo much fun.”
