I Am (Not) Aizen Sosuke

Summary:

Aizen Sosuke has been doing well. As a soul who transmigrated into the body of the famous villain with the ego who reached the top ten list in the manganet survey he can sufficiently say he has managed to pull down his red flag.

That was until three canon—not likely canon anymore—version of his captain and best friend along with the protagonist entered the stage with a full on villain Aizen.

Sosuke nows needs to rethink of whether his captain's paperwork or this will kill him.

Notes:

This is inspired by a Chinese bleach fanfiction called [死神]Boss難當.

Chapter Text

Aizen Sosuke has been doing well. As a soul who transmigrated into the body of the famous villain with the ego who reached the top ten list in the manganet survey he can sufficiently say he has managed to pull down his red flag.

He does not have any wish to return to his own life and the entity that dragged him into this world after his unfortunately early demise only told him his mission was to mess up the plot as much as possible. Since then it hadn't appeared before him again.

So he continues to wordlessly tire himself to do the paperwork of his captain and division. Try to teach that silver fox of a third seat how not to die fruitlessly. Not that Gin needed to since Aizen hasn't really done anything bad.

So he was completely and utterly innocent. The only crime he could have possibly committed by hiding their division's little fox from the young Byakuran's wrath whenever he goes out to steal permissions from the famed Kuchiki garden.

Sosuke was a good Lieutenant who caught his lazy captain's paperwork and made sure the whole division was moving smoothly.

Speaking of which, he had a wayward captain to fetch from the 12th Division.

There was tension in the air. Sosuke didn't know what it was but his instincts told him something was up. Say all you can about him but one thing he had never been wrong in was trusting his instincts.

He then felt a familiar reiatsu brush near him. Sosuke knew that person blind, drunk, and delirious. But there was something odd in his captain's reiatsu. Soul King above, please don't tell him that Captain Shinji ended up wrapped in one of Kisuke's experiments again.

Having to babysit a near feral feline version of his captain a year ago still left scars in his arm. No matter how pretty of a cat his captain made, he still prefered a shinigami sized Shinji.

He sighed and pitched the bridge of his nose before making a turn towards the 12th division building he felt the reiatsu.

The building was oddly silent for the normal buzzing 12th division with shinigami researchers running and puttering around.

Sosuke approached the building containing Kisuke's lab and knew that his captain and the 12th division captain must be there as well.

Kyōka Suigetsu on his waist to make sure an easy access to his blade in case another experiment goes wrong.

He flashed his reiatsu as a warning before opening the door and entering inside.

"Captain Shinji, it's time for you to return to your office. The division does need its captain. Please stop bothering Kisu—"

Sosuke stared wide eyed at the scene.

In the middle of the normally chaotic lab of the 12th division captain—which was only cleaned through Sosuke's weekly clean up of the place—was two Kisukes.

He looked at the first one wearing green samue and black haori. Then towards the one wearing the 12th division captain haori.

Sosuke sighed for what felt like the fourth time this morning and took off his glasses and wiped them.

He placed it back on his eyes and looked at the two Kisukes. One looking at him wearily under the shade of that hideous hat and the other wide eyes innocent.

"Please don't let Yourichi-san see both of you yet. Please."

He knew it was a hopeless cause but he still pleaded. The hellcat was going to stir chaos like no other when she got a whiff of this. He didn't even want to think of what the Shinigami Women's Association would do.

Those damned publications of theirs were a thing of nightmares.

Sosuke turned his head towards where his captain was standing and likely smiled mischievously in that brand of his at the scene.

But he stopped still when he saw the condition of his boss.

His hair. His long golden hair.

It was gone.

The hair that made his captain skip work to go to the hairdresser almost everyday. The hair that made Shinji order him to fetch a batch of those expensive hair products even at the dead of night and in the middle of a storm. The hair that his captain shredded a hollow with viciousness when it slightly singed the ends.

It was cut.

Cut about Shinji's neck. Somebody was going to die. Horribly. So much paperwork. He was going to die too.

He blanched and paled. He lifted his trembling hand and made a hell butterfly.

"This is Lieutenant Aizen Sosuke. Code Golden. I repeat Code Golden. Level—I don't know. Just get everyone away from the 12th division. Tell Gin he's the next Lieutenant in case I don't return."

Okay, problem area secured. Now to deal with this. Shinji seems to be in shock at the moment because he wasn't panicking and in a rampage. The moment the man realizes what was going on hell will be loose.

With an attitude of placating a wild stray animal, he slowly approached his captain with hands raised in the air. He also hunched himself because of course his captain disliked that he was taller than him.

"Captain," he gulped and looked into those amber eyes with an unreadable expression. He must be in shock. "Don't worry captain, Kisuke should be able to do something. Don't panic."

"Ho~ What are ya talkin' about Lieutenant?"

Was he imagining the killing intent in those words? No, something was wrong with Shinji.

Then quick as a lighting—or a former Onmitsukidō—Kisuke rushed towards him and hid behind his back.

The future cunning shopkeeper in the show is still a somewhat innocent former child soldier now. And he had been so used to Sosuke shielding him from uncomfortable social necessities that he still hadn't learned how to react outside from inspect—affirm—assassinate.

He was dubbed as Kisuke's babysitter by Yourichi after all.

Not that Kisuke isn't able to manage on his own but still, he prefers the presence of either him or Yourichi.

He tried to hug thighs of the major characters at the start in case things went south or something. And having the man with the highest IQ and rival of the original Aizen was as good as he could get aside from the protagonist himself.

"Kisuke what the hell is going on? Shinji's hair!?"

He hissed under his breath while extending a hand to push the younger man behind him as he walked backwards.

"I don't know."

"What do you mean—"

"They suddenly appeared inside my lab. No experiments ongoing whatsoever."

"They?"

The sound of impatient tapping and the voice of Shinji gaging took away his attention. Both of them had the look of utter disgust and Kisuke 2.0 was also looking as if was wondering whether he inhaled any gas fumes.

"Oy, Kisuke. Get yer mini away from Aizen before I start stabbin'."

Shinji raised his Zanpankto and Sosuke had the feeling that this person was willing to actually kill him.

"You're not my captain."

The only warning he got was a predatory smirk before the fake unleashed his sword and lunged towards him.

His Kisuke immediately unsheathed Benihime and faced his own fake.

This Shinji's attack would go on par with his captain and each attack was of brutal precision.

Sosuke had tried well and could match the original villain in terms of power and skills but unfortunately not in IQ.

But a serious and murderous Hirako Shinji was a thing of nightmares. He'd never been able to beat his captain in a spar.

And when he was losing footing as a slash against his shoulder made him bleed, a flash of gold saved him.

He was never going to take his captain for granted again. Captain! Just leave your paperwork to me!

"What's a bunch of fakes doin' in here? Tryin' to kill my Lieutenant too."

Shinji was smiling widely but his amber eyes were burning with fury.

Sosuke was glad that his efforts to bury himself into Shinji's circle had worked. It took a lot of sleepless nights, hair loss, and ongoing paperwork to finally get there but here he was.

With Shinji going toe on toe with his short haired version, Sosuke headed off to help Kisuke.

Their swords clashed and the older looking version of his friend was forced back.

The battle continued and he could feel multiple reiatsu approaching them.

Then a garganta opened up in the middle of the highly unstable lab that he was wondering why hadn't blown up yet.

Out the large portal was a familiar looking teen with bright orange hair fighting with a post-revelation Aizen, gelled hair and all.

Sosuke was going to die.

He avoided cannon like a plague. But canon brought itself to him. This was fucking unfair.

His captain and Kisuke looked at the villian Aizen with surprised expressions and the two—now he knew—canon shinigamis stopped their attacks on their doubles to help out Ichigo against villain Aizen.

This was getting very confusing quickly.

But as a transmigrator, one thing he knew was to never underestimate the villain and to always strike as fast as you can.

So using his advantage of having a near similar reiatsu, he sneaked up behind the bastard who was likely to blame for this mess. And made sure to stab Kyōka Suigetsu where its vital and it hurts.

Blood spurted from the wound but was quick to heal thanks to the hōgyoku. As a reader, he already knew about the near immortal state of this Aizen.

So that was just a distraction. His true goal was that damned death marble

The slash managed to jerk it off from where it was implanted in Aizen's chest—this was not canon. Aizen didn't fuse with the Hogyuko this early and wasn't fused properly either—and he grabbed the marble and yanked it out.

Just in time for the strawbe—Ichigo to push the man with Zangetsu towards the garganta.

Sosuke looked at the death marble in his hands and it's ominous reiatsu before saying 'Not today Satan' and throwing it over Kisuke's head.

"Kisuke! One of your death marbles caused trouble again!"

"It's not a death marble! It's the hōgyoku. A masterpiece of a cr—"

"That the Central 46 nearly had our heads for before we hid it!"

True. He didn't know how those stuck up higher ups got a sniff that Kisuke was working on a miracle and tried to get them to hand it over. A joint effort from the Gotei 13 and a promise to hide or destroy it if possible from Captain Commander Yamamoto was what saved them.

He fixed his glasses and did his best not to pay any attention to the canon squad. They were going to ruin things sooner but he prefered to keep his peace for now.

A blade whistled to his side and Sakanade cut off a small part of his hair. The only reason his head wasn't included was because Shinji grabbed onto his uniform to pull him over.

Kisuke cursed beside him, and readied Benihime.

Three vs three. Both captains against their doubles while Sosuke was facing Ichigo.

It wasn't fair. Why did he get the protagonist. That was one impossible to beat opponent. But on the other hand, he had the highest chance of surviving with Ichigo.

Please, the numerous reiatsu that were approaching before. Hurry up now.

The first one aside to arrive was the Flash Queen herself, Yourichi.

She looked between the doubles—labeling Ichigo as a Shiba Kaien clone gone wrong—before looking at Kisuke with sheer horror.

"Urahara Kisuke! What did I say about highly illegal cloning experiments! Why did you even pick those and yourself as the subjects!" She sounded as if she didn't care about Kisuke likely doing highly illegal cloning in secret, but rather, that he picked himself and those two as the candidates for it.

Shot while lying down Urahara Kisuke blinked in confusion before shooting Yourichi a betrayed look.

"I didn't!" The poor guy looked about ready to cry. A far image from the profiteer in Geta and Boshi in front of them. "And if I'm cloning anybody it's going to be Sosuke!"

Now it was his turn to stare in betrayal at the younger man. Really, that's what he was planning. Sosuke thought that the Women's Association was a punishment enough with their monthly kidnapping plans.

"What the hell is going on here!? Why did this Aizen give back the Hōgyoku?"

And the protagonist brings us back to reality.

"The right question. Is who are all of ya?"

And Captain Shinji, I hope you don't mind me hiding behind you.

It must look comical. Kisuke hiding behind him, and him hiding behind Shinji. With both of them being taller than his golden haired captain.

In response to his captain's incredulous expression as he watched his lieutenant hide behind, he blanked his face and gave a serious response.

"Sorry Captain. Your double is giving me a bad feeling. And the short hair." He whispered the last part to himself but of course his captain heard.

Shinji snorted and smacked his head with the hilt of Sakanade. "What double? I'm obviously more handsome than 'im."

He rolled his eyes in secret and thought back to how deeply cannon Aizen fucked up that Shinji's life and thought the farther he was the better.

"The hōgyoku. Hand it over to us." Urahara said while looking over at Kisuke.

Sosuke thinks it's better for him to start calling the cannon visitors using their surnames instead.

"Wait a minute ya weird clones. We ain't givin' ya that stone."

"It's our world's hōgyoku and we don't know when Aizen's gonna show his face again to try and take it back. Give it over here."

Two Shinjis was one to many for him and the extra one having a murderous grudge to an Aizen Sosuke didn't help.

"Our world?"

Kisuke stepped away from him with curious eyes as he looked over the two with that odd sparkle in his eyes.

Oh no. He knew that look.

He quickly grabbed Kisuke's arm and pulled him over. Eyes pleading and desperate.

"Kisuke, not now." He ignored the puppy eyed scientist and continued. "This is not one of your questionable and likely eldritch discoveries. These people will stab you."

"But—multidimensional theories! The existence of the other in universes. We talked about this."

"Yes. And I regret it very much."

He really did. While Sosuke couldn't keep up in terms of genius when it came to his friend. He beat Kisuke in terms of creativity and ideas. As a millennial with science fiction and anime in his belt, he shouldn't be underestimated in what creative ideas he could cook up.

"Oh my, oh my," Urahara said with a fan over his face. "This is quite unexpected."

Gray eyes looked at him like a very fascinating experiment strap on an operating table and Sosuke shivered as his hair stood up.

This version was very much different from his innocent friend. He didn't like him.

"—trustin' that scum stupidly. Yer worse than I am. Piece of advice, kill 'im now."

Sosuke heard a bit of the ongoing conversation with the two Shinjis and placed his attention on them.

His captain was now obviously frowning and he could see he was getting mad. Ha, of course his captain would get mad. Hirako was threatening his paperwork managing machine, maid, chef and lieutenant in one roll after all.

"Shut yer trap."

But before a fight could start again, Captain Commander Yamamoto arrived with the rest of the other captains and lieutenants.

"Stop this at once."

It was a simple order but everyone unconsciously obeyed.

"A captain meeting will be issued. Bring these two."

The cannon visitors obediently let themselves be apprehended and the rest of the captains followed the Captain Commander as they brought the three to where the meeting room probably was.

But before Sosuke could leave with the rest of the lieutenants, his eyes caught Urahara's and he could see dark emotions brewing like a storm. A suffocating feeling like hands wrapped around his throat appeared but he knew that was just his imagination. It has to be.
