Draxum snores reached Angelo's ears, asleep within 30 minutes. That's a new record, usually Draxum can stay awake longer if Splinter stayed with him. That way Splinter can finally talk to someone about the 'behind the scenes'. Turning off her phone, Angelo climbs out of the many blankets covering her and Peach. The ruffling caused Peach to lean over. "You alright?" Nodding, Angelo gives a thumbs up. "Yeah."
Peach stares further not believing her. Relenting Angelo gives out the first excuse. "Gotta go pee." Finally nodding, Peach leans back taking some of the blankets Angelo shrugged off. The climax of Punch Chowder displayed on the projector. Donald and Leon reenact off to the side. Cass cheered them on and Junior enraptured to the screen.
Only able to hear the stories of Splinter's old movies. The imagery and imagination didn't do this masterpiece any justice. "I'm just going to the bathroom." Aneglo said loudly, heading to the bathroom. The clock was ticking.
Meditating to find his other self in 20 minutes was not easy but that didn't mean it was impossible. It just meant they needed to lock on to their vibes. Meditation came easy; so did entering the astral plane. It was getting out of those states that were hard. Angie wonders what they should call their counterpart, and what pronouns they would use.
They had time.
Not long after the Kraang Invaded and almost brought upon the apocalypse, righting the wrongs of what could've happened. Draxum took to helping expand all of their ninpo. The whys and how's, finally had an answer. When those lessons shifted from sparing and trying new ways to summon or finely tune their energies to mental barriers and spiritual enlightenment.
The first time she ever meditated, everyone watched Angie when it was her turn to practice. Mostly Draxum and Donnie, they had kept watch over her progress. Donnie had his goggles and Draxum created an array to practice on, a fail safe, in case something went wrong. It went horribly wrong.
The array had been unable to activate, Angie's very imaginative and free wonder personality slipped through the metaphorical cracks. Donnies goggles almost broke when Angie's mystic energy started to burn like a star.
Angelo had only drifted then they turned into everything. Every emotion and every thought had been turned against her, she drowned. Her body intentionally shut down, he was considered brain dead by both Draxum and Donnie. It would've taken a long time to wait for Angie to wake up. Time that stretched too long and too soon.
Her family tried everything they could; they tried to find her spirit, they were unable to find her soul tether, but they thought of one last solution. A theory that Donnie had, what if Angie split herself up?
The theory only formed when Angelo's soul tether looked as if it had been untangled. The seems picked apart and withered away. Angelo always had a scattered mind, added an out of body experience, and boom collect all the Angies.
By the time, Angie was 75 percent complete. By Donnies calculations no less. The weaved basket of Angie's very being was autocompleting itself. Like an auto-solving rubik's cube.
The next time Angie was conscious he'd been informed that they were in a coma. For how long Angie didn't know. What was even worse was the fact that xe couldn't be alone for a single second.
Everywhere he went her brother and sisters and her sibling were watching her every move. "Just in case," they always said. "We wouldn't want you to do anything crazy, yet." Peach may have been the only one to acknowledge; that yes, she was trying to make sure her younger sister was alright. That yes, they were overreacting and yes, Angie came out fine. In the end.
After not knowing who any of them were for the first couple of hours. Then, pretending to know who was who. She may have mixed up April and Peach but those types of slip ups caused the Mama Bear protocol.
When Angelo's memories and personality returned to 'normal' that's when training was able to resume. Under 5 new array's Draxum made and Splinter also joined mediation with Angelo.
That was the main reason they weren't allowed to meditate by themselves. The astral plane sauce was strong. Other times it seemed like xe were in the wrong body when she settled again. He were getting distracted. Time to focus, where were they, what were they doing. They just had to find a way to make a bridge to visit another Anthropomorphic Orange-Headband Turtle.
Finding the Hamato Ancestors Home that mostly made up their conscious thoughts. The courtyard had a zen garden and a gateway stood there. No frame. Like someone had left a magical blanket floating.
"Maybe Peaches and I can create a door frame later." Angie thought to herself. "Would it pair well with white or cream?" She wondered pondering what the contrast of the purple and black void would look like in her mind paired off with any color of her choosing.
Oh, they were getting distracted again. Angie stepped through and everything and everyone came full force. As if someone was skipping ahead on a video. Gaps in between memories, catching glimpses but not seeing everything at once. So many lives but none of them were the right ones.
None of them felt the same turtle he just talked too. None of them felt… oof.
She found them.
They look like they all were in need of a vacation, like their entire world forgot what it was like to smile. Like they needed help, but it was the hardest thing to ask. Stepping back out, the memories slowed.
That movie night didn't seem like such a bad idea after all. Hopefully this other Mikey could help. Angie wonders how soon Dr. Delicate Touch or Dr. Feelings would be needed before a situation escalated.
Hopefully soon, they didn't have time before a new evil to crawl into their lives. What kind of Michelangelo were they? Mikey? Focus and concentrate.
Coming back to being Michelangelo Orange Hamato-Draxum was difficult. They had it as a routine to pat down. An inner matura that Donnie helped make for Angelo.
"I am Michelangelo Orange Hamato-Draxum, I use He/She/Xe/Star and I like to cook and draw. I have mystic hands and my Hamato Nimpo has awesome abilities." They repeated this several times, making sure a panic attack didn't occur if xe couldn't remember who xe were, again.
It seemed like a mouth full but that was the point. To center themselves, like a rubber band that was snapped back into place. Like her body and mind desynced.
Put together they pulled out their phone. But that had to be later; they were too drained to continue. Knowing where and what their universe looked like was a start.
No matter how depressing their world looked. Did they have enough light to sunbath? Did they even like Pizza? Questions, questions, questions, they'll be answered soon anyway.
Hopefully Draxum won't mind Angelo using him as a pillow. When they get to the Fort and take a nap or a snacky break.

Mikey grins, shutting their phone off and looking around for the starting point of his staged 'kidnapping' passing a hand through, a purple vine pushes his hand out tapping him twice.
Grabbing the vine and wrapping himself like a blanket it was time for the next phase of the plan. Transforming his kusarigama out of its hidden chamber. Mikey stabs the blade into the vine and throws out the extended chain. Letting it be used as a rope.
Tapping twice on the purple vines and inhaling, Mikey bellows out for his sister and brothers. "AAAAHHH!!! Guys help I'm being!!--"
Vaulted backwards into the portal they look up and see their counterpart. Waving first Mikey smiles at the other orange turtle, their phone still in hand they pocket it away behind them waving back.
"Enjoy the ride.” They turned to leap at a high ledge, their hand glowing illuminating the dark room they were in. "Ride?" Mikey questions confused about what that would mean.
Throwing his hand in the air, Mikey's raised along with the arm above the ground, his chain pulling through the portal with his siblings dragged in and the portal closing behind them.
"Guys!" Waving his arms Mikey suddenly falls, gravity acting upon him and the vines having looked like they withered and died.
Glancing up, Mikey sees their counterpart enter a portal of their own as the dark room blares a deep red. Hidden lights flashing and a speaker plays on repeat from somewhere in the open room.
"You are being rescued please stay where you are and help is on the way and do not move if you are injured, hurt, concussed or dying. This is Othello Von Ryan signing off, we'll see you when we get to your location."
Don pulls out their T-Phone, turning on the flashlight and investigating the damage around as the debris of an abandoned sewer channel, multiple tunnel openings blocked off or just barely held together.
Mikey wants to text his counterpart but that's for later. "Who do you think Othello Von Ryan is?" The siblings glanced down at Mikey as he untangled himself from the dead vines. Leah walks over helping Mikey stand. “Thanks, sis.”
Raph crosses his arms glaring at Mikey. "You wanna stay and find out doofus?" Don finished looking around the outer rim of the bowl they stood in. "I think it's our only chance of getting out of here, everything looks unsteady about to collapse on itself and we don't even know where that portal took us."
Leah looks at her taller sibling. "Don’s right we might not even be in New York anymore." She finished her sentence before an echoing rumble of a speeding vehicle bounces off the wall of the empty sewer.
Getting in fight position they turn with their backs facing each other and unsheathing their different weapons from their holster. The wall closest to Raphael breaks open as a giant turtle shaped monster truck barrels through.
The bright headlights of the truck blinds them, a 8-bit jingle from an unfamiliar show plays out from the horn of the truck, the truck parks as the brakes kick in.
A hiss of a door opening breaks their confusion of the truck. They peer over the side of the truck to look at a blue bandana wearing turtle. Crossing his arms the new turtle balances on his blade embedded into the ground. "Huh, I wonder how you fucks got here." Kicking up his sword that disappears in a blue light he turns back around.
Marching back up the ramp he wails out, surprising his new friends, "Yo Peaches, we've got ourselves some schmucks to deal with. Get your fat ass off your chair, we have guests." Thundering footsteps echo as a giant turtle exits out of the truck.
"Leon!! I told you I’m sensitive about my weight! Don’t bring it up!!” She picks Leon off the ground and holds him in the air by the middle of their shell. “And what have I said about cursing?"
Leon groans and pats their older sister's arm. “Look I’ll make it up to you with a fruity friday.” Setting him down, Peaches crosses her arms.
The newly dubbed 'Leon' presents their other selves by a show of jazz hands. "Besides you saaiid~ Only if it's an emergency and I think this counts as an emergency." He finishes with a wink.
'Peaches' exits down the ramp to look at the group of turtles. The newly dubbed 'Peaches' walked into view, their red bandana waving with their gait.
Overjoyed she shrieked, jumping up and down, while a high pitched whistle escaped her, as if she was meeting Jupiter Jim for the first time again. “Oh this is so cool and no, not even close to an emergency Leo.” Side eying Leonardo as he walks up the ramp.
"Cass, Junior, you wanna be nice and introduce yourselves?" From behind the dull turtles, two humans appear from the shadows. "They look like enemies." A goth looking girl with a black gi on says grinding her teeth together.
"I don't know, they feel familiar, just older." A second voice calls out, stepping out with a hockey mask with red stripes down eye sockets, a boy stands.
"Casey?" Raph calls out. Flipping his mask up, the guy and goth girl both answer. "Yeah?" Mikey gasps out excitedly. "No way!" Donnie grones slouching slightly.
Passing through first, the goth girl introduces herself, her voice echoing out. "Call me Cass, it'll be less confusing." Following up behind her was the boy turning to face them, bowing. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Junior, it'll probably be easier to explain and do introductions at the lair, huh." He stood up before flicking his mask down, opening his comlink.
"Does this mean we have to drive them back in the Turtle Tank, Sensei Leon? Tiã Peaches? Mom?" There was a hiss and either side of the tank, not a monster truck, sprung to shoot out two motorcycles. "Oh cool, dibs." Junior said hoping on one while Cass appeared again to call the other motorcycle.
They both started their engines before racing out the tunnel they created, their shouts echoing out as they raced back to their lair. The dull turtles stood shell-shocked.
Mikey follows first, breaking out of shock that was this dimension, apparently. More excited about the prospect of exploring the tank. The rest of his siblings follow him to the back of the newly called Turtle Tank.
Leon meets them all half-way back down, surprised. "Oh good I don't have to force you inside either." Rocking back and forth, Mikey waited for Leah and Leon to talk leader to leader.
It never came. Weird.
Sneaking in to sit in the front, Mikey pulled out his phone. Putting in zeir password they stared at the conversation with themselves? They could always ask, but where’s the fun in that they were already almost arriving at their version of the lair.
What if they didn’t like cats videos, maybe other animal pictures would be fun. Even worse, what if they didn’t like his three toes? Not everyone he meets lets him rant about himself and more importantly about his toes. A nightmare waiting to happen!!
Mikey's thoughts stalled as he noticed they even had a soft serve Ice Cream machine, maybe it had sprinkles! He wondered if they had any Jellybeans.
Pulled out of zer head is the sound of hydraulics of a chair, lowering itself from the ceiling. Peach waits for the mechanical engine to stop. The controls on the armrest look like joysticks, as if the chair was designed to be a giant controller.
Leon sits down beside him in the front, instead Peaches sits on the Captain's chair. Tapping on Leon's armchair, Mikey asks him what options he had for the ice cream machine.
"What kind of sprinkles did you have?" Leon looks confused before nodding, holding his index. Rolling behind him, he opens a bottom cabinet drawer to take out clear thick plastic mini bowls. "Glad you noticed, Mi hermano."
Leon grinned, holding it up for Mikey to take the bowl. "We have; vanilla, chocolate, and swirl for flavors." Opening the cabinet door he pulls out two shakers. "Right now we have rainbow and chocolate sprinkles."
Picking zem first cup of soft-serve ice cream. Peaches press a button on the console of their arm rest. "Auto Driving activated." The same monotone voice that did the emergency announcement, in this turtle's destroyed old lair.
Peaches takes out her phone as the tank starts moving backwards. Leah grips the chair that hangs on the wall. "Whoa wait, who's driving?" She yelled out, pressing into the wall as the car moved.
Peaches finally looks up from their phone as Leah stops gripping for purchase while being driven through the rocky tunnel. Raph laughs from his seat where he buckled in. "You know, this would make a lot more sense, if you just check your discord notifications."
Don perks up in disbelief. "Our what?" Peach perks up even more. "On your guy's phone, where else?" Don reiditerates. "You did what, to our what." Peach still smiles, waving her own phone. "Discord. Check it."
Taking the hint Mikey's sister and brothers check and reread the previous two hours that passed. "You know it was really convenient that you guys came when you did." Leah takes the opportunity to answer. "Really, what for?"
Peach turns over her chair looking at Leah. "For our Movie night, we just finished Lou Jitsu's Punch Chowder." Leah looks slightly disappointed.
She tries to keep a straight face, but her brother and siblings break into laughter. The entire situation reminded her of the Turtle Power guys.
"I'm not going to teach ninjutsu while we're here!" She blurts out, fearing the worst. Leon looks offended which sends Mikey and Raph into another fit of laughter.
"Yeah, cool, we don't need to be taught. Our ninjocity is off the charts already." Leon leans back in his chair, rocking it slowly.
"Ninjocity?" Don asks skeptical of what that meant. Leah breathes a sigh of sweet relief. Buckling herself in.
"I just thought of some very concerning questions, but you know what, Donnie's going to be disappointed."
Peach leans, from her seat, forward. "Wha- what why?" Shrugging Leon explains, pointing backwards to Leah. "Because, my dear sister, we aren't even in their top 3 dimensions. These boso's even visited." Turning to face Mikey, whispering. "Not you, every version of you will always be radical."
Giggling quietly into their phone screen as Leon smirks at Mikey, he continues on. "You'd have to know at least two or three other versions of us to ask that question." Counting on his hand he explained.
"One geek boy over there hasn't even looked up from Dondon's workstation." The purple turtle in question looks up from the keyboard in front of them. Looking back to Leah confused. "Wha?"
"Two, sharkboy over there, hasn't even looked away from the cannon ball launcher." Raph looks up, one of the spare cannon balls in his hand. "Are these just random bowling balls you guys found?"
Ignoring the red turtle, Leon looks to his own counterpart. "And three you just put on two emergency seat belts." Leah glares at him.
Violently, shivering Leon shutters. "Dr. Feeling's would be so proud." Mikey jumps at the similarity of the use of his own Doctors personas. Gasping softly Mikey reintroduces himself. "I also go by Dr. Prankenstein."
Leon and Mikey quickly get into their own conversation about different pranks they've pulled or flopped. Mikey was very excited to learn what bop and flop era ment.
When they noticed they stopped moving, they got lost in each individual sauce. Remembering Mikey asks, "What's the next movie for movie night?" Leon ponders, unbuckling himself, as he presses another button that same mechanical hiss was heard from outside.
"We'll just have to check, come on." Getting up they both exit the empty tank. An entire pillowfort made the living room, a projector turned on with snacks, and drinks on the coffee table.
Introductions were had as well as a Hotpot, which Mikey and his sister and siblings never had before. The movie Lou Jitsu's Red Fish Blue Fish Dead Fish playing out in the background as each turtle slept in piles surrounding one another.
Opening his eyes again, Michel didn’t realize she had closed them. From up top her turtle pile Michel climbs down, making sure not to wake her sister and siblings. Looking over to their counterparts on the other side of the couch. Blankets still left tossed around over and on the ground.
Shifting to crouch and grab the blankets. Bring the soft material to toss to their family turtle pile. Michel dusted herself off from the bust bunnies all over her knees. Not remembering where her T-Phone was, he quickly patted himself down, and found her T-Phone.
There was so much to think about; the fact that Leon is actually funny was a game changer, that they all looked different, but they're more like brothers and siblings to each other than they were, on a good day.
