Chapter 1: Introduction

Chapter Text

This story was born in a late night thinking, as you will be able to see soon enough.
Since Jane's, John's mother, ability level was revealed, I haven't been able to stop thinking about the irony that those two present in a world such as the one shown in UnOrdinary. The strongest and weakest characters shown (ability wise) so far are, or at least have been, together at some point, and that relationship must have lasted long enough so that they could have had a child.
This line of thought lead me to wonder how did they end up together. Take into account that the hierarchy preaches the division by ability level.
Having this in mind, I couldn't but help imagining an "enemies to friends to lovers" trope, in which they both discover the hardships of the other, and Jane becomes more aware of the problematic the hierarchy presents.
