Chapter Text
Life is perfect in the Innit’s household. There’s a successful and caring husband/father, a loving wife/mother, and a spoiled and loved child. The perfect family everyone wishes to be a part of. That is, everyone but Tommy. Tommy knows the reality of what the Innit’s are like. It isn’t the perfect family they make out to be no. It’s quite the opposite. There’s an abusive alcoholic of a father, an absent mother, and a neglected and abused child. “But how does Tommy of all people know this?” You may ask. Well, the truth is Tommy is that neglected and abused child. He’s seen his father come home drunk. He’s seen his mother not come home for days at a time. He’s been the victim of his father’s anger after a bad day at work.
The same Tommy who has never gone to school. The same Tommy who to the public is just another spoiled child who has everything. So it wasn’t a surprise when his father came home one night drunk. Tommy at the time was in his room playing with his stuffed cow Henry. That night was one of those nights when his mother was home. His mother was downstairs making dinner in the kitchen. When his father slammed the front door open a half drank beer bottle in hand. The first thing Tommy heard was the sound of glass breaking. The second was a pained scream. Tommy sat still holding Henry to his chest. Once Tommy mustered up the courage to go downstairs he sat up Henry still in hand.
What Tommy saw when he arrived downstairs was something that will forever haunt him. There on the kitchen floor was his mother laying in a pool of her own blood. With his father standing above her with a broken bloodied beer bottle. Tommy watched in horror as his father threw the bottle at his mother's head. His mother was hit by the bottle and if she wasn’t dead from the blood loss she was dead from the impact.
Tears were rolling down his cheeks as he let out a choked sob. His father turns around at the noise and spots him. Before he had any time to react his father had already grabbed the nearest object that being a glass plate and thrown it at him. The plate was mere inches from hitting him but it falls short. The plate shatters as it comes in contact with the floor. Pieces of the plate go flying at Tommy cutting him on the leg. Some of the shards got stuck in his arm as well as his leg. The pain made Tommy come back to reality and he quickly ran back upstairs his father yelling at him.
Tommy reaches his bedroom door and hurriedly runs inside slamming the door and locking it. Hearing his father starting to approach his door he grabs a backpack hidden under his bed. Opening a window in his room. Putting Henry in the bag he zips it shut and slings it over his back. Just as he’s halfway out the window his father bursts the door open. Startling him he slips rolling down the roof barely catching himself a few feet from the edge.
Looking back one last time Tommy sees his father’s enraged face as he stares at him leave. Without turning back anymore tommy runs as far away from home as possible. ‘Can he even call it home anymore?’

Tommy stopped running a while ago he had grown tired and even the adrenaline couldn’t keep him going. At first, when the adrenaline kicked in he felt numb but slowly it started to wear off. As it wore off he became more aware of the bleeding cut and other injuries he obtained on the way. The pain was slowing him down until it was unbearable. He stopped to bandage his wounds the best he could with the minimal supplies he had on hand. Then continue it wasn’t long before he found himself wandering around Hypixel. Looking around in amazement as he saw all kinds of hybrids and people walking around. He even saw some people and hybrids playing on floating islands!
As he was wandering around he accidentally bumped into someone. Falling to the ground he lets out a quiet “oof”. He slowly starts raising his head to try and see the person’s face. The person was very tall that he had to look all the way up to even see his head. “Oh sorry about that kid,” the person says extending their hand out for him to take. Gratefully grabbing it he is hoisted up to his feet. “Thank you and sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going” embarrassed I look down at my feet. The man chuckled telling him to be careful next time as he waved goodbye.
After that encounter, I was more careful making sure to not bump into anyone else. As I was wandering around some more I saw something run from the corner of my eye. When I looked over there was nothing there. Thinking nothing of it he continued exploring the place. It was turning night and Tommy was growing tired of walking around for so long. As he was trying to find somewhere to rest for the night he heard noises coming from an alleyway. Now it may not be the best idea to check out a sketchy alleyway at night. But hey he’s only 6 and his parents never taught him anything. Plus he was curious about what it was.
Curiosity winning him over he takes a deep breath before heading into the alleyway the sound came from. As he turned the corner into the alleyway something grabbed him or well someone. Before Tommy could even scream a hand was put over his mouth. He tried wiggling his way out of the person’s hold but it was too strong. Deciding he had no other option he opened his mouth and bit the person's hand as hard as he could. Which was relatively hard since his teeth were sharper than normal. Feeling the taste of something coppery he decided to finally let go.
The person holding him hostage let go as they cradled their hand to their chest. “You will fucking pay for that” the person growled glaring at Tommy. “Well maybe you shouldn’t be going around trying to fucking kidnapping people” I say while backing up. The man lunges forward grabbing me again. I squirms trying to get out of their hold. The man slams my head on the wall hard enough to hurt but not hard enough to leave permanent damage. Black dots start to overtake my vision as I fall limp in the man’s hold. The last thing I remember before everything went black was the man throwing me over their shoulder and walking out the alleyway.
