After all that was said and done, the story of Noli Me Tangere pushed through the way it was originally meant to be. No matter what Klay had done to try and change how the story went, it still went the way it did. Maybe sometimes Fate was truly set in stone.
For when one door closes another opens as per the great book once said. As the story did come to a close, she expected a portal to open. But a different door opened instead, the door to their hearts to one another.
Though she wanted to leave, she chose to stay instead. She chose Fidel for Fidel has chosen her as well.
For years, he never wavered. True to his name, his fidelity never once cracked. He never once looked at anyone else.
For years they had each other. They were both prosperous and kind.
San Diego looked up to the eccentric yet kind hearted couple. They had everything they could ever want except for one thing.
a child
And not for a lack of trying either. Their helpers & workers have had caught the two in various compromising positions through the years. May it be before, during and after the act, their close tight knit found family loved them so.
But for all the love they had for each other, for their found family, it never once had been enough for a child.
