Summary:
When Cham Syndulla rescues Caleb Dume after the events of Order 66, he forever changes the young padawan’s fate… Or does he? The Force continues to influence Caleb’s life and soon he finds himself on a path of confrontation with specters from his past. But he is not alone…
Hera Syndulla is young, intelligent, and eager to spread her wings out of her father’s well-meaning but stifling protection. Tasked with seeking a tentative alliance with the infamous and enigmatic ‘Fulcrum,’ Hera might have bitten off more than she can chew. Luckily, she happens to have powerful friends. Well, just one - the fugitive Jedi Caleb Dume.
Chapter 1: Prologue: A Different Journey
Summary:
In one life, Caleb Dume abandoned his name and his heritage. But in another, he is rescued by a different unlikely ally. And that sets him on a different journey.
Notes:
This story starts as a canon-divergence from Kanan: The Last Padawan Issue 2 comic. In this AU, Caleb is rescued by Cham Syndulla instead of Janus Kasmir after the events of Order 66. And thus, a young Hera is there to give a desperately needed hug.

Hello! Hello! Welcome to the Different Journeys AU story that I have been drawing for... awhile. I was posting this on Tumblr but decided to add it here on Ao3 for ease of reading!
This whole AU really just started as a reaction to Poor Caleb's Terrible No Good Order 66 Day (the Last Padawan comics were brutal!) and me/other fans just wanted Hera to give the poor kid a hug. Thus, AU baby Kanera one-shot comic was born! That somehow became AU teen Kanera! That somehow... became this whole Finding Fulcrum AU thing...? This story was my first time writing/drawing a lot of these characters so I apologize in advance for the Uglee Art. Ye have been warned! Now, ONWARD!
