Clearance: Level 1
SCP-7000~ "Sherbert Morningstar"
Containment Class: Safe
Disruption Class: Keneq
Risk Class: Caution
Description: SCP-6700 is a large snake-like creature with a moderately humanoid upper-body. Closest related snake species appears to be the Eastern Purple-Glossed Snake. Saliva, or "venom", produced has varying properties depending on food consumed. This venom is also constantly secreted from the left eye, which appears to have no effect on the SCP. The subject is eager to experiment with the venom’s properties and as such is typically cooperative with testing. The subject has expressed no desire to leave the facility and is often defensive of it to other SCP’s, denying any and all negative comments made towards the organization. Subject claims to have no memory before it was admitted by [REDACTED]. Subject also claims to be able to communicate with the objects around it, also known as “the everything” or “chat”- further observation required.
Update: Subject has been temporarily transferred to the End Site as requested by O5 Council Member Enderian. Return date currently unknown.
Update #2: Subject has been transferred back to Fable Site.
Update #3: Subject murdered a researcher (Haley [REDACTED]) after several weeks of uncharacteristic aggression, including attacks on several other SCPs. Subject has been administered an amnesic and has remained passive since. Further observation required.
Update #4: Subject has claimed to have regained its memories but has remained docile. Some mild aggression has been demonstrated with SCP-7010- further observation required. Subject has also claimed to have received “dreams” involving the currently missing O5 Council Member Fable. Researchers Morningstar and Venear are currently investigating this.
Update #5: Morningstar has claimed that the subject shares his biological mother. Further investigation required.
Update #6: The subject has claimed to have received obscure coded messages from Site Director Quixis. It had been allowed to investigate this until further notice.
Update #7: After an altercation with SCP-6999, remanents of said SCP were used in an attempt to retrieve former O5 Council Member Fable. According to supervising researcher Venear, the attempt worked, but only momentarily. Fable was then replaced by SCP-7013, or "Haley". The subject claims that this event was caused by Site Director Quixis- further investigation required.
Update #8: Subject has heavily mutated since the failed retrieval of Fable. The subject's upper body has morphed to be significantly more humanoid, its scales tranforming into flesh. Feathered wings sprouted in place of human ears, however, along with parrot wings on its back. Its lower body has remained mostly unchanged, and it thankfully still produces venom. It claims that Quixis may be responsible for this. The supposed "changes" in its cell have also increased in intensity. The subject has made multiple claims against Site Director Quixis. No punishment will be administered yet for the sake of the subject's cooperation. However, monitoring should be increased.
Containment Procedure: SCP-7000 should be contained in a 5x5 meter cell- no obsidian required. Blankets and pillows are provided for its “nest”. Bottles should be provided for venom, as some of its properties are used by staff personnel for varying purposes. Food should be restricted to nether wart, blaze powder, ghast tears, and glistering melons unless otherwise specified. Temperature is to be kept somewhat warm for health purposes- however, it should be noted that the subject, as proven by experimentation, is mostly unaffected by temperature changes. Standard human accommodations are to be provided besides what has been listed. The subject is allowed to keep one parrot and one fish as a reward for its cooperation. There is also one chicken, called "Charles", that somehow sneaks into the subject's cell despite all efforts to remove it from staff and subject alike. It is suspected that it may be an SCP- further investigation required.
Update #9: SCP-7017, which the subject refers to as "Zebbles", was found in the subject's cell and is authorized to live there until further notice. This is in an effort to increase cooperation, as the subject has been more questioning of the organization's activities and has been more irritable due to the "changes" occuring within its cell.
