Chapter Text
by Itstwointhemorningwhyamiawake
It was supposed to be a simple mission. Investigate a possible gang and protect a minister. Obi-Wan wasn't supposed to find a child that burned like the sun in the force. He definitely wasn't supposed to get kidnapped by the Jedi's ancient enemy. He needs to find a way to get back home and protect Anakin.
Only the True Mandalorians don't act the way he expects them too. Jaster was kind in a way Qui-Gon wasn't, Arla made him think of his friends, and Jango seemed almost too forgiving towards being stabbed. Not to mention that something was happening in the outer rim and him being on Mandalore might just change the course of the galaxy for the better.
Maybe he didn't want to go home.
Maybe him messing up doesn't have to end painfully.
About the Book
I call this a “scarp” cover, where I use a bunch of my scrap pieces to make it and some new vinyl. A little fussier then just some pretty paper, but fun texture. The ribbon is gray and silver and the page breaks are the Haat Mando’ade (True Mandalorian) crest.
About the Story
This is a really interesting story, definitely give it a read. Baby Anakin, Obi-wan having amazing fighting instincts, gob smacked Mandalorians, and so many fun feels. Unfortunately, the sequels are on hold, but this one leaves you in a nice place until the author returns.
