Everyone questioned their decision, the press, social media, random youtubers, thier own fans, hell even their own friends and families questioned their decisions.
At the age of 37, the great actor/model Off Jumpol Adulkittyporn has announced his marriage with the best actor/ model of all times The Gun Atthaphan Phunsawhat. Well what is the problem here? They were highly shipped couple and worldwide popular for their on screen and off screen chemistry too, they were attached at hips at the events, always complimenting one another, they were each other's comfort zone, their fashion statement matches to a point that people might think that they use the same brain and closet , it should be an enough reason for their marriage, right?
Sadly No, these are never an enough reason for a Marriage. A marriage should be out of love for one another. Does Off and Gun don't love one another? No ofcourse not, they have great love and respect for the other. But that was not "The Love" for the marriage.
The 10 years of closeness has made them care for each other in a way that a life partner would care for the other but anyone could see that the chemistry needed for marriage was not there, or they have been fooled. Because for God sake Off and Gun never dated and never announced they were in love and never even considered themselves as a real couple. But suddenly one day morning Off Jumpol announces on his social media that he would marry Gun shortly, followed by Gun posting the engagement ring.
It was shocking, well even 'shocking' is an understatement here... the fans didn't know how to react at first. 'Are they pranking?' 'Is it April fools day?' was the first thought, actually it was the only thought for the first one hour after the picture was posted. The comments went on like that OffGun were playing with the fans or it was a promotion for a new series, fanservice perhaps? , untill the shocked comment of their best buddy Tay Tawan, followed by Arm, Jennie, Mae Godji.... What really got Fans attention was the shocked expression of the dear sister of the fandom, Pimwalee. One of her friends captured the shocked expression of her stunned face and posted it on the Instagram. But the real deal was her shaking voice "How could it be, they weren't even dating secretly"
Well not only for Pim but that was the thought running through the great minds of every fan and non fan. They weren't dating, for the past year even thier friends stopped teasing them, there were rarely a picture of them together, mostly on events, ofcourse thier birthdays and some holidays were they spent together along with thier friend group. So now the friend group who was supposed to know the secret was also equally shocked as the fans.
Though it gave immense happiness to everyone as a Fan of their ship, there was also the irking feeling lurking in the darkness of thier mind. "Are they forced to be in this marriage because of too much shipping?". But then it's Off Jumpol and Gun Atthaphan, they wouldn't do such things whimsically. But still as a fan who had grown together with them they couldn't control thier thoughts and emotions and poured out thier doubts on the social media.
And the company set up a press conference, even they wanted clear answers from them. It was a very big event in itself, how could it not be? Everyone is curious for their answers too.
"Why was the sudden decision of marriage?"
Off: well we are in the late 30's so we thought it would be a good time for a marriage, not too young and not too old.
The statement itself gave raise to many more questions but it's time to ask the most important questions.
"Why did you choose to marry Gun?"
Off: is that a real question? Because I can choose to marry whoever I want.
"Sorry to phrase it like that but the fans and other people are concerned, because they have never seen you guys both date or share a romantic moment and the marriage announcement was kind of sudden, so is it a forced marriage or arranged marriage?"
Off: well I have planned that I should get married after building a house of my own and securing some business and also when I feel mature enough to handle a family. So I thought now it would be a correct time. But at this age I didn't feel like chatting up to a person, flirting and then going out and after sometime finding that person wouldn't click with me and then have to repeat the whole process.
"But~"
Off: I haven't finished. Marriage is not something that I could decide without thinking about other factors like my family or friends or Fans. The person that iam going to marry should like my family and my family should like them. My fans they should like them and I wouldn't accept anyone that would hate even one of my fans. When I thought about everything I thought Gun would be my best option. That's why I asked him the question, I didn't force him, I would have accepted even if he said No but lucky for me he said Yes.
The press then turned to the said person who was just silent and nodding at what Off was saying.
Gun: actually I was busy all these years with my own projects and when P'Off....
Off: Huh?
Gun chuckled cutely hiding his face with his hands.
Gun: papiiii, papii came and asked me to marry him suddenly even I was shocked then but he explained to me why he asked me suddenly, I thought about it for a day, and I felt like his thoughts were correct and I wanted to say ok, as for not dating eachother or getting into a relationship, not everyone who dated ended up marrying eachother, so what if we did the process in reverse. Also we can't 100% say we never dated or something, we have done pretty much everything in 'your' definition of dating. But you can call our marriage as something like, what do you say papii, a comfortable marriage, marriage for comfort?
He looked at Off for helping him with his words
Off: you mean marriage of convenience?
Gun: ya ya that one.
Press: but what if you don't like the marriage in the future and wanted to get a Divorce? What if you guys don't click after marriage?
Off: Do you think every relationship or everyone who got married are successful? If then why the words "breaku up" and "divorce" exist.
Press: but don't you think you are setting a wrong example about marriage to others? But jumping into it blindly.
Off: I don't know, why don't you answer this question, how does we set a wrong example when we have grown together for 15 years in each other's company and now we wanna marry and continue doing it.
Gun: as papii said earlier, it's our life and we decided, no one can question us and we are not obligated to answer but our fans are worried about us and we just wanted to tell them that we took this decision with all the happiness in the world. We are not regretting our decision and we are really sorry for making you guys worry.
With that said both Off and Gun got up and deeply bowed to thier fans for making them worry.
"When is the marriage?"
"In three weeks time"
After the answers from them the fandom came to a conclusion that OffGun were indeed happy about thier decision and that's what they wanted and Babii's will be always happy for them...
Since Gun didn't bring his car, he waited for Off to finish a small errand and went home with him. Off got out of the car with Gun.
Gun: what is it papii?
Off: want to talk to you about something.

Off: why are you not looking at me?
Gun had his head slightly down the whole time.
Off: do you regret it now? Don't you like the idea now~

He didn't know why he shouted immediately, he was red from blushing and little angry

Off: Can I stay the night with you?
Gun: huh?
A cherry tomato would be in shame of how Gun turned bright red.
Off: I mean we are shifting your things to our home so I thought it would be convenient if I stayed the night. If Gun is not comfortable I can sleep on the sofa
Gun: so papii is planned to sleep in Gun's bed with Gun..
Off was also shy at this point..
Off: only if Gun wants to...
Gun: only if papii let Gun cuddle you.
Off: ok let's go inside, your next door aunty is eyeing us from her balcony.
Gun grabbed his things and lead Off to the room..
Getting ready to sleep, Gun was in the bathroom doing his night rituals as Off was scrolling through the phone. When Gun came and sat near him, off still didn't realise the presence and was intensely staring at the phone with Varied expression
Off got shocked and moved his phone when Gun tried to look over his shoulder.

Off hesitantly gave the phone to Gun who's eyes roamed through the page off was reading as mild blush covered his face .
Off: I was just reading some of our fanfiction ja..
Gun: why are you reading this papii?
Off: I just wanted to do some research of you know how to do, but these fanfictions how could they make these positions? I don't get it.
Off was looking elsewhere not looking at Gun.
Gun skimmed through the fanfictions
Gun: ha! Papii these are easy to do you could have asked me iam very flexible... I could have thought you too.
Gun slapped his mouth after spilling that!
Off: you have done?

Gun looked like cherry tomato and after sometime both laughed at thier own funny, shit whatever that it.
Gun: you are funny papii. Otherwise I wouldn't have said yes to you.
He lay down on the bed and Off turned to other side "you are the only one who thinks iam funny"
NEXT DAY. Off helped Gun carry all the packs inside his house. Gun told that they keep help for arranging but Off insisted that he himself will do everything.
Gun: papii this is tiring hire someone
Off: but Gun..
Gun: you are more of a hinderence than help. I have to clean your mess too, Hire someone or you will be sleeping on the floor outside this house.
As of que some one rang the door bell.
Gun: whoever it is pay them and hire them..
It was quite for sometime again the calling bell rang.
Gun himself went to check what happened but all he saw was Off glaring at the closed door.
Another bell rang as Gun himself opened the door, crossing a very protesting Off only to come face to face with confused Tay.
Tay: how can you guys do this to me!
Tay couldn't read the situation for saving his life but that's Tay Tawan.
Tay: Peng, yesterday night you called me and told I should not come for your wedding and switched off your phone?
Gun: p'Tay papii is just playing.
Off: no iam not playing, he is not invited.
Tay: iam your bestman
Off: you can be watchman.
They both turned to see Gun laughing on the floor. "Oh papii you are funny"
Tay: only you find your papii funny.
Off was looking at them both as a small satisfactory smile spread on his face at the end of the day 'Gun is mine'
Off: Ai'Tay help with the boxes I will invite you to the wedding...
After the move, they had hardly anytime for each other. They wanted to finish some works before marriage so that they could have atleast a month gap after marriage before returning to work. They seperated the marriage work between them.... Gun was to take care of the dresses and Off has to arrange for venues and food. Gun's and Off's friends manager said they would help with decorations and other stuff as they both had busy schedule.
It was exactly the day before the marriage that they both finished their works and went to the venues.
Tay pulled Off into the hotel room.
Off: I need to talk to Gun.
Tay: before marriage the groom cannot see the bride. In your case the groom cannot see the groom.
If Off was not dead tired he would have beat the shit out of Tay. Off picked up his phone to call Gun. The call was not pick up at first but he again called him and Gun picked up. Just by the voice Off knew Gun was too tired. Off knew that Gun was filming some heavy drama.
Off: I just wanted to ask if you are comfortable.
Gun: mmmmm
Off: ok I will see you tomorrow
Gun: hmmmmm
Off cut the call he didn't want to disturb him more. But something irked his heart. Is Gun really ok? Or this marriage is too much for him? Will Gun regret this? In all of this thoughts never once a thought like "am I regretting" crossed his mind. All he thought about was Is Gun ok?.
But he got a call. And it was Gun. He immediately picked it up without delay. "Gun is everything ok? "
"Good night papii... Iam just tired will see you tomorrow"
A small smile formed on his lips, Off felt relieved. "Good night, Gunlek"
Tay wanted to slam Off's head on the wall and tell him that this is love. Just pure unconditional love. But he can't scar the Groom's face, that shorty will murder him bring him back from hell and again murder him.
The marriage was just grand, their family, co stars, co workers, fans yes Off himself sent the invite to personal DM of every one of his followers. But the manager has set the limit and asked the limited people to sign up for safety purposes, which both Off and Gun protested highly before giving up. That didn't stop them from DMing everyone, though it was tiring they wanted to do and they did it.
The venue and decorations spoke for itself, that how much they cared for each other. Just like Gun wanted the beach destination wedding, with the theme of Green and white. Gun prohibited anyone from use of even a single balloon anywhere near the venue. Best DJ and dance floor for him to dance.
Does those who don't love will go to this extent to satisfy another?
Off was getting ready in his room the final touch when his phone rang. It was Gun
"Hello Gun"
There was silence on the other end.
"Gun are you there?"
Still there was only silence
"Gun what happened? Tell me something... Speak to me?"
He could only hear the breathing on the other side.
Off looked out the window he could clearly see the venue. Is it too much for Gun? Taking a deep breath "listen Gun, if you are having cold feet it's ok. I won't blame you. If this is all too much it's ok you don't have to go through this. Just tell me Gun I will stop this if you can't but trust me I will never blame you"
There was still silence
"Look Gun~"
"Papii I forgot the vow"
"Huh?"
" I was so busy that I couldn't find time to write it especially I didn't find right words to write and then yesterday I was soo tired I slept that I forgot to write the vow"
Off just chuckled, he somehow felt relieved..
"Is that it Gun?"
" Iam too embarrassed now. You will say you vow in front of everyone but I will just simply stand there. What will everyone think of me? That iam a bad husband since day one. Papii what do I do now?""
"Ok ok Gun I will not say my vow too"
"Really?"
"Yes, let's just move with the formalities of wedding whichever one is comfortable with you"
"Thank God you are a saviour papii"
"Hmmm ok"
" But you thought I would run off? "
"Huh, that...."
"Hey guys it's time"
It was Tay. Off silently thank the lord's for sending Tay at the correct time.
"Tay says it's time for the wedding, Gun do you want to go and wait or do you want to walk down the aisle"
"I want to walk down the aisle"
"Ok. I will wait. "
He switched off the phone. He looked at the mirror one last time. Gun has selected him the suit, it's what you call White perfection. With Tay and Arm by his side he stood on the stage. Waiting for Him. Few more seconds the que for Groom to enter played and Off looked ahead at the entrance looking for Gun but no one came. Everyone stood looking awkward at one another. Off's eyes glistened with unspilled tears. Jing Jing, Gun's best friend who was sitting at the front walked back to see what happened and came out few seconds later trying to control her laugh, she turned to the band and asked them to play the que again as she walked fast to the front.
Tay: what happened?
Jing Jing: Gun didn't know that was the que he had to enter.
Tay: what?
Jing Jing: ya no body told him the que, he is fuming..
She told looking at Off who had horror written on his face. Oh lord Gun is gonna murder him..
But everything changed when the que again played and out walked Nirin followed by Win and Akin. Then the maid of honor, Pim she was beautiful in her pastel green dress then it was Gun.
His heart stopped. His world stopped. The unspilled tear that was glistening in his eyes dropped. Gun's face glittered when the sun reflected on his face. The blush on his cheeks due to the embarrassing event and the blush that he is gonna get married is driving Off crazy. The perfect fitting white suit. That small smile on his face as he turned and greeted while he walked down the aisle. Everything is his now. THE GUN ATTHAPHAN is mine. Off couldn't take his eyes of Gun. His hands were shaking when he streched it. Shy Gun placed his hand on Off's, it perfectly fits like a puzzle.
Gun's breath hitched on seeing the hot mess in front of him. Off is the most majestic being he has ever seen. In the white suit he looked like the prince that walked out of the fairy tale. He realised he is standing in his own fairy tale and Off was the one who helped him create one. Yes Off was his prince. He had written his vowes he knew it by heart. But he was embarrassed to read in front of him after all it was marriage of convience but now he don't know. He is standing in front of the very man he loved half his life who is holding his arm tight with tear spilled eyes. Did he think that Gun would really run away? Leaving him in the aisle.
It was P' Tha who was supposed to officiate the wedding but Gun stopped him. "Can I speak"
There was little terror in Off's eyes but Gun looked at their hands holding tight.
"I hate you Off Jumpol. With every breath that I take I hate you. I hate you for making me feel weak. I hate you because you are incharge of my life, I hate you because you make my heart skip a beat, I hate you because you know everything about me. I hate you today because you exactly made my fairy tale come true. I hate you because you are the prince charming for my Cinderella, you are the beast for the bella in me, You are the Alladin to my Jasmine. I hate you because I want to be the Minnie for the Mickey in you. I hate you more because you are the only man I loved half my life. But I hate myself for loving you with every every breath I take. I love you Off Jumpol. I love you to the point that this marriage of convenience hurts me. I want you to marry me because you love me. "
Off released the hand he was holding as Gun's eyes filled with tears. He placed his hands in the pocket. As if searching for something.
"I wrote a vow for our marriage Gun, I was not gonna show that to you. Infact I asked Tay to write another one. But I think you should read the vow I wrote." He pulled out a bunch of paper from his deep pocket and placed it on Gun's hand.
"Iam a man of simple words, Gun so I wanted to keep the vow simple. So I wrote down the one thing that came to my mind when I thought of you. "
Gun opened the paper.
"I love you Gun ATP"
"I wanted to write another sentence but all I could write was I love you Gun. A hundred time I wrote hoping that the hundred and one line would be something else. But still I can only write I love you Gun. That's the only feeling I have towards you. I thought the thousandth time it will change but still my thousand and one line was 'i love you' ..... It's simple Gun I love you and only you. You want me to be your prince charming or beast or alladin or Mickey. In this world I can be anything or anyone for you but I want to be your husband, I want to be your Papii. So Gun I may not have grand words but my feeling is simple 'i love you and only you' "

Off pulled Gun by his waist crashing his lips on his.
P'Tha cleared his throat but Off doesn't want to leave Gun...
Tay took the Mic from P'Tha while the new love birds still kissing. "I pronounce you husband and husband, everyone let's go they won't mind. We are simply air to them"
Everyone laughed still Off pulled at Gun's hair wanting more access.
Tay: I think we should clear the children's first before it gets 18+.
