Marinette was sitting in her room, when she got a call from Alya. Usually she didn’t call this late, but she answered. “Alya? Is everything ok?”
“Yes, everything is fine. But, Chat Noir wants to see you.”
“Uh. . .ok.” She hung up, wondering why Chat needed to see her. “Tikki, spots on!”
Once she transformed, she hopped out the window, asking him why he wanted to see her. She figured it might be serious. But then again, it might not.
When she arrived, she saw him, his back turned toward her. “Kitty?” she tilted her head.
“You’re going to know my identity. I am done with secrets, and you can’t do anything to change my mind,” he said, firmly.
“Chat you know-”
“I’m done with secrecy!”
“I can’t let you-”
“Plagg, claws in.” When he was untransformed, she was shocked to find out that her partner was none other than Adrien Agreste. What the heck? “A-A-Adrien?”
“Who are you?”
“I can’t.”
“Yes you can! I don’t understand why we can’t know who each other are!” he shouted so loud, it startled her a bit.
“Because of Shadow Mo-”
“Just tell me! Don't you understand! All this is killing me!” She gave in. She couldn’t watch him break down like this
“Tikki, spots off.”
“Marinette?” he walked up to her, and put his hand on her cheek. “My closest friend is the love of my life.”
