NASCAR Racers

Summary:

This is the version where Cars that instead of vehicular sentient cars, were instead humanized, and this focuses on Lightning McQueen’s background and backstory since it was confirmed in Cars 3 he was born in 1977 which makes him above in his 40’s in our real-world. This is where the story focuses on the background of NASCAR racing and its legacy and impact on the automobile culture. This will be McQueen's journey to becoming a famous racer, and the trials that come along his way before he paved his path and becoming the first rookie on his way if he can win the Piston Cup in 2006.

The story might have changes later on but I’ll try my best to write this fic since it’s my first time doing this.

Edit as of July 13, 2023 and Ao3 came back last night, I apologized for not continuing this fanfic since I went to different stuffs, and college works and bec of that this fanfic might not be finished, I might go back if my interest was back.

So for the title I changed from Racers to Disney Pixar's Cars Racers I changed it to Disney Pixar's NASCAR Racers and I apologized for copying someone's title of an AO3 fanfic in the same genre as Disney Pixar's Cars, it was irresponsible of me to copy that bec I was looking for the best title and I shouldn't have done that in the first place, I should've double checked but I will not repeat it again. I'm not sure if it's the AO3 fanfic named racers with small caps bec I only changed it to Racers with one capital letter at first. Keep in my mind this is what I've remembered I'm not sure if my memory is right but that's all I remember but I will not repeat those mistake again and I wish no harm to anyone. I hope you understand.

Prologue

       Montgomery McQueen, or Monty for short as his parents would usually call him, was born in 1977, living in Daytona, Volusia County, Florida, United States, he grew up in a family who lived a very simple life although not super poor but simple, his Dad worked in a mundane office job and goes home at night, and usually gets super tired to talk important stuff unless he talks about his favorite sport NASCAR or watching TV to see the racing seasons or who wins the last lap, he can be the type of guy to flirt with his wife to forget his problems at work, talk something financially related to his job and the expenses for his family. While his Mom is a housewife but was super OCD when it comes to dirt most especially her husband she got super mad at him one time for leaving dirty tracks inside the house and he should leave his work shoes outside, she also cares so much about her beauty that she attracts male strangers outside that she and her husband were constantly arguing of whether or not she’s cheating on him but still they stick together since they both know how much they loved each other, while McQueen is a child whose innocence and curiosity will grow once his Dad would take him every year to a NASCAR racing event to experience what it’s like to watch race drivers race towards the finish line and win the Winston Cup. That is when he discovered his new dream when he was 8 years old when he finally find his new idol to look up to.
