Did you scream at the sunrise,
Wishing for the moon to say goodbye before she goes?
Does the sun hear you laughter?
Did you smile at the pond,
Hand in hand as the bubbles fade?
Does the smoke hear your dancing?
Did your throat bleed when the waves kissed your chest?
Did it hurt?
Does the blood burn in your eyes as you watch the moon fade away for the last time?
Did you remember to say goodbye?
Do you hear the child’s song,
Was it sung just for you?
The ocean heard your song
