MK was enjoying his time training with Monkey King. He liked every moment spent studying under his idol. Then, his phone buzzed.
"Aww man!", MK sighed," I got forgot about that today!". MK hung his shoulders and groaned.
"Is everything okay bud", Wukong walked over to the kid.
"Yeah, I just forgot I had a Doctor's Appointment today. "
A look of horror and concern appeared on the Great Sage's face.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN DOCTOR?! ARE YOU OKAY?! ARE YOU HURT?!! ARE YOU SICK?! BUD, IF YOU'RE NOT FEELING WELL WE CAN ALWAYS RESCHEDULE!!", Wukong grabbed the kid's arms, his voice was panicked.
"Uhhhh...Monkey King, it's just a annual checkup.", MK arched his brow.
"A what?", was the response.

"Ughhh. I don't understand why you insisted I come with you to get checked out.", Sun Wukong sat cross-armed and slouched in his chair.
Not even looking up from the waiting room magazine, MK responded, "Because you haven't ever been to a doctor in like more than 500 years".
"Well in my defense, I don't remember Doctors doing checkups and stuff. Ya only went if you were like really sick or dying", Wukong pouted. "Plus, I'm immortal."

After waiting what felt like forever for an impatient immortality monkey.
" Xiaotian and Wukong please.", a nurse summoned.
Wukong cautiously and slowly followed MK into the back room and into a room.

A woman with glasses soon entered, carefully shutting the door behind her.
"Hello, Qi Xiaotian and Sun Wukong?", the woman asked as she sat down, reading off of a file.
"Yes, I do go by MK though.", MK said.
"Okay, MK, Sun Wukong, my name is Doctor Lin.", she smiled.

Doctor Lin had asked to give them both seperation examinations.

"Okay, MK, have you had any trouble sleeping recently? Or any stress at home or work?", Doctor Lin asked.
"Uhhhh", MK nervously sweated," maybe...".

"Okay Mr. Sun, I'm going to tap your knee to test your reaction", Dr.Lin raised the tiny mallet.
Her first mistake....

"So, you both seem to be in relatively good shape.", Dr. Lin announced," I'm going to ask you if I can draw some blood to send it to lab."
"..Okay..", the boy was nervous, but he reminded himself that it would be quick.
"Wait...like...with needles?!", a certain monkey asked.
"Yes Sir, with needles", the doctor responded.

A immortal monkey may or may not have proceeded to freak out and than faint.
No one can ever say.

Needles to say, a follow up check up was required.
