Trapped

Summary:

Rock Bottom - But with my own twist ~

Knockout and Breakdown were sent to scavenge out an old - unstable - cave for energon that Starscream had abandoned for reason unknown to them.

At the exact same time the autobots had found the same mine, filled to the brim with energon but with signs of decepticons still in it.

Notes:

Hey, so I'm not really a writer but I got obsessed transformers prime recently and really wanted to try making a fanfiction. Hope its not too bad :D

Chapter Text

Breakdown and knockout were sent out on yet another scouting mission. Searching for any energon they could get their hands on for the decepticons. They came across a huge cave, the tracking pad urging them to go inside.

"The structure looks unstable, doesn't it?" Knockout said, "if that ceiling comes crashing down my finish is on the line."

"lets just try to be careful then, and hopefully we can fight any autobots outside the caves." breakout smiled at him, Although he didn't actually care where the fight was even if they did show up.

They began walking inside, not much energon was by the entrance but the farther they walked in the blue crystals became even more clustered together. The path diverged into two roads.

"So, what now?" Breakdown questioned.

"I'll go down here, you go that that way. Sound good?"

"Sounds great."

Breakdown went down the left pathway, with knockout going right. It seemed just the same as the one he was just in. He finally came to a large room, large blue crystals seemed to dimly light the space. There was yet another path, on the opposite side from where he was. Yet when he went down it, it turned a corner then led straight to a dead end. Well, that's the end of this, He thought to himself.

"This place is perfect!" A tiny voice yelled from behind him.

He spun around, and lightly ran down the short hall leading back to the large room. He saw the small human girl, running around the room, performing air guitars for herself. Her pink hair clearly giving away who she was. No one else was there, wasn't this human supposed to be protected by Bulkhead?

He came into view, his hand turning into his beloved hammer.

"That's some great guitar skills you've got there human." He said in a very sarcastic voice. Her eyes widened, and breakdown could tell she was terrified. She backed away but her back was to the wall, yet he didn't move. "Maybe you could teach me." He chuckled at his own joke. Finally taking a step forward. But he turned his head at the sound of running. Bulkhead burst into the room, and smashed his own hammer into breakdown. He flew into the wall, the room slightly shook, little rocks crumbled from the wall. Luckily he didn't hit any energon. He stood up and shook his head, his optics took a second for readjusting to the light. He grinned, hammer time he thought.

"Stay away from her!" Bulkhead yelled. "Miko get out of here!" But she shook her head, taking a step towards bulkhead.

"It seems she really cares for you bot," Breakdown spat "I'll have to end her after I kill you." It was very unlikely that he could kill him today, or that he even wanted to. But he said it to get into bulks head, to make him lose his senses.

They began to fight, a blur of metal smashing and scraping, creating white sparks flying around them. Breakdown laughed, slamming his hammer into bulkheads chest, yet bulkhead instantly retaliated with his own punch. The only thing anyone could hear was the two of them fighting. The ground seemed to shake underneath them, but the two didn't seem to notice. Rocks crumbled from the walls, and dust exploded from the ground with every step. Miko became increasingly worried for Bulkhead, and was the only one who noticed the cave crumbling around them. Breakdown picked up bulkhead and threw him beside the entrance at the cave, huge rocks fell from the ceiling, blocking the pathway.

"NO!" Miko screamed, running towards him and bulk got up to protect her. Breakdown began to run towards his enemy but when the earth began to shake underneath him, he stumbled backwards. Rocks crashed into him from all sides. Dust clouded the air, his optics trying yet failing to adjust. A rock slammed into his head, he fell to the ground, pain shooting through his every circuit. He didn't care if the autobot was there, he was in serious pain. He stayed on the ground with his head in his hands until the storm seemed to calm.

On the other side of the cave Bulkhead held Miko close to his chest, and hunched over to protect her from the rocks. He half expected breakdown to hit him with his hammer, or a rock to make him go unconscious. He looked up, the ceiling was falling! He instantly put his arms up to hold it up, stopping it from crushing all of them. When the dust finally cleared, he looked up to see breakdown on the ground, covered in rubble. He heard miko cough, his head raced with thoughts of her being hurt.

"Miko, are you hurt?"

More coughing, she shook her head. "No- I'm alright, other then being trapped in here." She said as she moved her head towards the entrance that used to be there, now it was just rocks and boulders. He frowned, and noticed that breakdown was trying to get up.

Breakdown looked over at the two of them, and frowned at the autobot. Did she say they were trapped? He noticed that the human was looking away and followed her eyes. They really were trapped together. He rubbed his aching head.

"lets finish this!" He said, trying to stand. he had a splitting headache, and half the wall had slid onto his legs. He was stuck. "Or we could . . . later." the autobot frowned at him. Miko was the only one free.

"So what now? How do we get out?" Miko asked, loud enough for the decepticon to hear. "Can you anyone hear you on the com link?"

"Bulkhead to base, can anyone hear me? Arcee? Ratchet? Bumlebee?" He gave it a minute, "Nothing, just static." He looked over to Breakdown, "what about you?" He didn't want to ask, if he could hear anyone than they would most likely have to deal with the decepticons. But they were stuck together anyways, so why not ask.

"Breakdown to Knockout, can you hear me?" He listened, but nothing was there. "No. But Knockout will come and help me soon." He said it as though it was a fact. oh please be okay knockout, he thought. Hoping that the red doctor really was okay.

"Of course your not alone."

"No, because us decepticons are obviously smarter, why would you even bring your human pet on this mission? and come alone?"

"Oh like you would know anything. Plus I never said we were alone."

"oh really? who do you have with you?"

"Arcee, you might know her." Miko spoke up, "and I am not a pet."

"Are you sure your not, you look like one." Breakdown said, ignoring the fact that Arcee was somewhere in the cave.

"Say that to my face!" she looked straight into his eye, the other one was lost after MECH got hold of him.

"I just did." he said slowly. With a menacing voice. They stared at eachother for a second, glaring. Your people were the ones who did this to me, yet you look so weak.

"Alright Miko, that's enough." Bulkhead said, Putting her down, "stay over there breakdown, we can't fight in here, or we could be crushed. So you good for a truce for the time being?"

He scoffed.

"I don't like it either, but we can pound eachother into dust once we leave the cave."

Breakdown thought for a moment, "Fine. For now."

"What? we can't just trust him, he's tried to killed you way too many times!" She gritted her teeth.

"Miko, its fine, we don't have that many options at the moment anyway, and we are all stuck in here, together." He eyed the blue con, "plus, he owes me."

"Yeah Miko, what he said." Breakdown said in a sarcastic voice.

"quiet con." Bulk spat.

Knockout

Knockout was walking down the cave, with the dim blue light helping his vision. It was quiet. It gave him the creeps, and it would have scared him if he wasn't a decepticon. Still he admitted to himself that he didn't like the vibes of this cave, and slightly wished for breakdown to be with him instead of going the other way.

As he walked down the pathway, he noticed the ground begin to shake. Faint voices came from behind him, the walls began to crumble lightly. He spun on his peds, sounds like autobots, breakdowns most likely fighting bulkhead and he probably has backup, what should I do? He took a step back, and then groaned, now now, don't be a coward knockout. He thought to himself, transforming into his vehicle mode to get there faster. I'm coming breakdown, let's smash some autobots heads in.

After a little driving, he saw Arcee, she was talking to her human pet. What was is name again? Tack?

"Jack, this place isn't stable we need to get you out."

Okay, so I was close.

She spotted him, pulling out her blasters. He stopped at a reasonable distance, and transformed. She glared at him, he smiled, and almost by instinct the little human scampered behind her without a word said. Good, he's scared of me. He thought to himself.

"I thought this mine was abandoned by the decepticons."

"That was Starscreams doing, but Megatron noticed that there was some energon left over. Apparently screamy didn't even put this place in our database."

"Wow, just in time for us to also find this place."

There was a tension in the air, both of them playing off of one anothers sarcastic comments, while glaring at eachother. Jack stood behind Arcee, but took a couple steps back, backing himself into a wall.

The ground shook even more than before. The sound of Breakdown and Bulkhead fighting filled the cave. Then crashing boulders fell from the ceiling, luckily not hitting anyone with major damage, other then minor scratches. Knockout could feel the rocks denting and scrapping. "ARGH!" he grunted.

Arcee dove to keep Jack safe. The world seemed to spin for everyone in that cave. Trapped together and forced to compromise.

After the shaking was just a creepy silence that no one dared to slice, dust destroying their vision.

Then knockout heard a certain human cough.
