Ganyu sighs. It had been a long day: Meetings with lady Ningguang in the morning, and then the many stacks of paperwork right after. Stretching, she stares out the window in her office.
It was already dark… Yet she still had so much work to do.
Flipping through yet another page of trade reports from the Feiyun Commerce Guild, she sometimes wished that she was allowed a quick reprieve from everything she did. Sure, work kept her occupied almost every day, but it was repetitive and boring.
Ganyu wanted something or someone that could help her relax.
As if on cue, she hears the soft padding of footsteps from behind her. Turning around, she’s faced with a specific purple-haired beauty.
“...Keqing?”
“I knew you were working overtime again, so I decided to drop a visit.'' She places a teacup filled with hot tea down at Ganyu’s desk, and smiles. “Don’t overexert yourself.”
“Well, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. Plus, you know I don’t need that much sleep.” The adepti already felt infinitely better when Keqing came to visit, as if she was the energy Ganyu needed.
“Still, take care of yourself. You can always work on this tomorrow.” She bends over and places a quick kiss on top of her.
Flushing at the act, Ganyu smiles sheepishly. “I guess I could just take a quick break from all of this…” Standing up, she yawns and pushes her chair in. “Do you want to go outside for a bit?”
Keqing instantly beams, and grins. “Yes, I was about to ask you. On my way here, I spotted some beautiful glaze lilies that reminded me of you.”
“Oh… you’re such a romantic.” Being showered with so much love and attention from the Yuheng made Ganyu feel extremely lucky to have her as a girlfriend.
She was glad Keqing chose her.

The walk to Yuehai Pavilion didn’t take long, as they both traveled in silence. The blissful quiet of the city was a blessing to her ears, as normally, daytime was too hectic for her to stand.
The two’s hands slowly found their way into one another until they were tightly clasped together. They were only allowed such actions under the cover of moonlight, where nobody would see.
“Ganyu? We’re here.”
The beautiful glaze lilies were in full bloom, showing off their bright blue hue. It was almost as if the flowers were waiting for the two of them, saving their beauty.
Ganyu gasps. “Oh… It’s so pretty.” Keqing crouches down and plucks a lily from the ground, turning to the adepti.
“This would look good in your hair.” Tiptoeing, the yuheng neatly slides the flower into her hair. The close contact makes Ganyu flush pink. Even though they had started dating a few weeks ago, she still couldn’t get used to all the small acts Keqing would do.
Taking a step back, Keqing softly smiles. “It looks beautiful on you.”
“Ah… thank you.” Ganyu decides to take the initiative to hug her, as it was extremely rare for the adepti to show any physical affection.
“You deserve it… after all, you definitely need a break.”
The two stay in a warm embrace for who knows how long, but when they both pull away, the two have smiles on their faces.
“Thankyou for spending all this time with me, I know I get a bit too sucked into my work sometimes.”
Keqing smiles. “I told you, you deserve it. I’ll do anything for you.”
With that, the two’s lips connect as they share a passionate kiss under the moonlight.
