Mafuyu was currently staying with the Shinonomes.
What happened?
Well, she had gotten into a serious argument with her mother to the point in which Mafuyu was told she had to leave for a few days to "reflect on her manners"... she had accidentally let her true self slip in front of her.
Mafuyu had stayed in the sekai for a few days, but the members started to realize a problem as Mafuyu seemed more tired and looked sickly the days that they called. Ena was first to realize, and she was really the only one that coukd take Mafuyu in to live with her for the time being.
The two were already dating, so it doesn't seem that out of place for her to be there. Thing is, Ena has not told anyone about her and Mafuyu's relationship other than the other unit members.
There isn't really an explanation for this; rather she sometimes forgets that Mafuyu is truly her girlfriend.
It took a lot of verbal communication and crying, but she managed to convince Mafuyu to stay with her.
But anyways, here the girl sits, in her bed. Ena sits next to her, dumb founded. She.. didn't think Mafuyu was actually going to listen. She had her toothbrush, a set of clothes.
"...Well, Mafuyu are you hungry maybe?" Ena broke the awkward silence as she played with her phone.
Another pause.
"I don't think I am." Mafuyu answered. Ena sighed. Mafuyu, never truly understanding what she wants. Ena didn't really understand how you don't know if you're hungry or not... but she doesn't want to be ignorant to her, especially now. Mafuyu went through a lot and she needs to sympathize. "What do you want to eat?"
Quickly, she realized what she said was stupid.
Ena shook her head. "Actually, i'll get you something." She was about to sit up when she heard a knock at her bedroom door. "Akito, you're home?" she called out as she walked to the door.
"Mm, I got something for you." He responded seemingly chewing on something from the sound of his voice. She opened the door to see him eating a cookie, and he held a bag toward her.
"I went to the bakery earlier and they gave me some extra stuff. You can have this one." Ena took the bag and said a quick 'thank you', trying to shut the door before he could see inside the room.
He peaked, and saw a girl's dark purple hair. Akito held the door from closing. "Wait wait, who’s that Ena?"
Oh jeez..
Ena sighed. "It's just my friend. She's staying here for a few nights because she doesn't have a place to stay, she won't be bothering you. Now, go," She said trying to push him out of the door way, but he was strong.
"What if dad sees her here, Ena? You'll get in big trouble." Ena groaned. "Akito, why do you even care?! Please go away, I need to take care of her. He's not going to see her, 'kay? Now out!" Akito rolled his eyes and muttered a 'whatever', taking his leave. Before he left he gave the girl a small wave. Mafuyu gave that smile she does, and waved back. Ena quickly closed the door scurrying to Mafuyu.
"Mafuyu you don't have to give him a smile." Ena said, almost having a pout on her face. Mafuyu's actual expression on her face was back. "...But Enanan, I want to have a good impression on your family." Ena's face grew flushed. What does this girl even....
"Haa.. Mafuyu, you'll be the death of me one day." Ena complained jokingly as she opened up the bag with the delicate dessert inside.
"Here, cake is good. Everyone likes cake," She said as she took the plastic silverware out of the bag also and cut the big piece in half. "We can split it, whatever you cant eat we'll save for tomorrow." Mafuyu only nodded in response as she was given a plate of the strawberry cake.
When was the last time she ate cake?
Maybe a few months ago. It was a cake one of her classmates gave her, it tasted of nothing but she could never tell them that. She displayed a big smile and told them it was delicious when really... she didn't taste a thing.
Mafuyu furrowed her eyebrows at the memory. 'This piece of cake. It will probably taste like nothing. Just like all of the other sweets i've eaten.' She thought to herself.
But to her surprise, it actually did have a taste. It was vague, barely there granted, but she tasted something what could be known as sweetness and strawberry. Her eyes lit up as she devoured the cake.
Ena looked to her and felt quite sad. "You must be so hungry to be eating it like that. Just how long ago did you eat a meal?" Mafuyu looked to her like a deer in headlights.
"I don't know," She whispered as she ate the last of the cake she had. Ena rubbed Mafuyu's back and went downstairs to go grab them something to drink.

The girls have brushed their teeth, and changed their clothes.
Now, it's time for bed.
Well... for Mafuyu.
Ena was barely tired. She's not to fond on sleeping at night. And she most certainly doesn't want to wake up in the morning tomorrow. But, she needs to prepare Mafuyu for bed.
"Oi, Akito. Where is the spare futon dad put?" Ena asked, looking to her younger brother.
"Uh... I saw him throw it away a few months back."
Akito could've sworn he saw the worst expression he's ever seen be born on Ena's face at that news. "He did what..?" She asked trying to keep her composure. He sweat as he looked away from her. God, she was scary sometimes. "Ena it was old... we've had that since we were kids." Ena shut the door as she simply sat down on her bed as Mafuyu brushes her hair.
"Mafuyu, do you mind sleeping in..in the same bed?"
Ena looked up to Mafuyu and she just felt even more embarrassed. Mafuyu had that confusing look. "No, I don't. But why would it matter?" She genuinely didn't see a problem with them sleeping in the same bed. And maybe she was right, there isn't actually a problem.
Only, Ena is a very wild sleeper. She doesn't want to accidentally hurt or bother Mafuyu in her sleep, but she won't dare even say that.
"O-okay then." Ena muttered and prepared the bed, insisted that pillows would be enough to separate them from each other.
Mafuyu would be taking the wall side, Ena taking the other.
"You ok, Mafuyu?" Mafuyu nodded as she pulled the blanket to her face. Ena turned off the light, "Goodnight then."
'goodnight,' she mumbled back. The room consisted of noises from the air conditioner and texting of Ena's phone.
Mafuyu could go to sleep easily, even with noise. But for some reason, she couldn't go to sleep. She shifted around and around, but she couldn't get comfortable no matter what.
Ena started to grow concerned as she saw the movement in the corner of her eye.
"What's wrong?" She asked. Mafuyu didn't answer. She was trying to pretend she was asleep so Ena didn't have to talk to her.
But Ena scooted closer, she noticed Mafuyu was shaking.
Shivering. She was cold.
"Mafuyu, you're freezing right? Why didn't you tell me?" Ena scolded as she tried to adjust the blanket, but it didn't help much. "...I am?" Mafuyu asked as she turned around and faced Ena. Her expression was so genuine.
Ena frowned. Does she really not know when she's cold...? Her heart dropped at this.
Moving the pillows aside, she instead decided to just hold Mafuyu. If the blanket wasn't enough, surely Ena was.
"Ena...why?" Mafuyu asked as she looked down to Ena in confusion. But, in Ena's point of view, she saw merely a poor innocent girl. She fought back the tears that would come to her eyes.
"You'll feel warmer this way. Let's go to sleep now, ok?" Ena whispered as she snuggled into Mafuyu's shoulder. Mafuyu, hesitant at first, returned the hug.
"Thank you," She said. So simply, so quietly. Ena almost didn't hear it.
"..No need." Ena responded trying to swallow the
cry that would have left her.

It was morning.
Oh does Ena hate mornings. She slept like a baby thanks to Mafuyu, but luckily it also seems she didn't sleep wild last night either.
She turned to her side, and Mafuyu was still fast asleep. Ena took this big opportunity to study Mafuyu's features.
Wow, was she a pretty girl. Her eyelashes were so long. Moles could be seen on her face much better now, and they really compliment her. Her hair so soft, not even a mess.
Ena tucked back a hair that found itself in Mafuyu’s face.
She's jealous. How can someone look that good when they're sleeping??? She'd have to ask Mafuyu what her secret was....
She yawned and stretched, cracking a bone as she got up from her bed and went to brush her teeth.
“What could we do today?” Ena asked herself. Luckily, it’s the weekend. So they have a lot of opportunities. She knows Mafuyu takes her education serious, unlike her.
Although, Mafuyu’s mother is mostly the reason for that. Ena rolled her eyes at the thought of that woman. She really hated her. Poor Mafuyu keeps thinking that she should disappear, when really that sad excuse of a mother is the one that needs to disappear.
When she came out the bathroom, Mafuyu awoke. “Morning,” Ena said and walked to her dresser. “Morning, Enanan” Mafuyu had a faint smile on her.
It was silent, until Ena turned around to pinch Mafuyu’s cheeks slightly. “Ehh..? What are you doing?” The girl asked her girlfriend. “Mafuyu, how in the hell can you wake up so cute?!” She asked pinching her harder. Mafuyu let out a noise as she shook her head. “I don’t understand- what you mean,”
Ena pouted and let go of Mafuyu. “Brush your teeth and come downstairs, I’ll be cooking breakfast shortly,” Mafuyu muffled an ok as she hurried to the bathroom.
Thanks to Mafuyu, this morning wasn’t actually that bad. But Ena wouldn’t admit that.
Ena met Akito down the staircase as he glared at her. “What’s with that look?! It’s too early, Akito!” She complained. “Why’d you wake up so late… i’m hungry.” She stood there dumbfounded.
He walked past her as Ena tried to shuffle a chuckle. Akito was older, but he’s really never changed. Right. It was her day to do breakfast, and she ended up waking up a little bit later than usual.
“Sorry, my poor starving little bro.. i’ll get it done really soon!” She yelled out as Akito cursed at her for using that nickname.
She started to prepare the food. Soon Mafuyu appeared down the stairs looking for Ena. Ena noticed she was looking around a lot, studying items.
“What, is it not fancy enough for you?” She teased but Mafuyu shook her head. “No… it feels really homey to me. Unlike my home,” Ena cursed to herself. Mafuyu is too cute for her own good, and the girl doesn’t even realize it.
“Oh, hi again Ena’s girlfriend.” Akito suddenly said. Ena’s blood rain cold.
“Hi there, Ena’s brother.” Mafuyu smiled out and shook his hand.
“Akito, what the hell are you doing?!” Ena yelled getting in between the two. “What? I just wanna greet her. She seems nice,” Ena huffed as she looked away. “Her name is Mafuyu Asahina. Not ‘Ena’s girlfriend’, you dumb ass…” Akito laughed. “Well my bad. You never properly introduced her to me.”
Mafuyu let out a laugh too. The Shinonomes were so cute.
“How did you know we’re dating…?” Ena asked now giving up on trying to hide it. Akito scoffed.
“Sis, it’s so obvious.” He said ruffling Ena’s hair, like she does to him sometimes. Ena couldn’t think she would be more embarrassed in her life…but, seeing Mafuyu’s face at that moment was kind of worth it.
“Enough playing around!!! I have to make breakfast already!” She pushed Akito’s arm aside and went back to the stove. “Why don’t I get to know you, Ashaina-san?” Akito suggested. Mafuyu nodded as they sat down at the table having small talk.
They would occasionally speak about Ena, but in whispers thinking she couldn’t hear them when she could. She’ll kill Akito later, but she wants Mafuyu to have a fun time.
“Here, all done. Mafuyu, if you want seconds tell me ok?” She looked her girlfriend directly in her eyes as Mafuyu said her thanks. Akito noted how caring Ena really was to this girl.
She must mean a lot to her.
“Ena, you’ve got a pretty cool girlfriend. Asahina-san is a good inspiration, and shes really responsible.” He told her as he ate his bread. “I know silly.” She replied as she drank her water.
“Ena, your food is tasty.” Mafuyu said suddenly and caused Ena’s face to be red. She really liked it?
“Hehe~ I’m glad you like it.” She replied but inside she felt like she was gonna explode.
Akito noticed his sister embarrassed at her girlfriend’s compliment and couldn’t help the hearty laugh that escaped him. “What are you laughing at, Akito?!! No seconds for you!” She joked taking his plate. “Oi Ena! Gimme it back!” Laughing could be heard from the small home.
It was fun, having both of them here and talking. She could really get used to something like this.
She hopes Mafuyu can come by more often after this.
